Alpha Henry was seen on the training field with Rey, his beta, and some other wolf members. "You are still a weak little boy."

He bellowed. With the way he speaks, one would have known that he did it on purpose to infuriate the little boy.

Rey stood up from the ground and charged again with a sidekick, which Alpha Henry easily diverted and knocked him back to the ground while he let out a soft groan and laid back on the ground weakly.

One could see that he had been training with his father since they left Franni's room, and he looked exhausted.

Even though Alpha Henry knew his son was powerful enough to face any menace,

But he still couldn't underrate the stones because they could come up with a brutal plan, and he had to make sure they were ready and strong enough to contradict it.

Looking around the field, he could see almost every man and the young ones in his pack training tough and getting ready for the battle ahead.

He had already told them to prepare after he sent Franni to see Argon's abode.

He couldn't imagine that the war that took the life of his wife was also seeking that of his daughter. For some moments, bitterness and pain flash through his eyes.

Anger that he would surely destroy and revenge, while pain because he couldn't protect his mate.

Henry, seeing his father lost in his thoughts, went closer and hugged him from behind.

"Don't worry, Father, everything will be fine."

Rey whispers into his father's ear while all he can do is nod his head.

They have the same features, physique, and even the same height.

Everything about them looks the same and one would mistake him for his father, but the difference is that Alpha Henry's face has grown old while Rey still has a young face.

Suddenly, the sky turned dark, thunder clasped through the sky, and lightning flashed across the whole packhouse.

Different portals open in the sky, revealing thousands of demons as they start trooping out in their numbers.

"I knew it would soon commence, and I am ready to welcome you."

Alpha Henry murmurs to himself, but Rey can hear him loud and clear due to his wolf hearing.

He watches as the rest of the wolves gather themselves at his back without any hint of panic in their eyes and are ready to attack at his order.

Well, he wasn't surprised because he had already informed them of the upcoming battle and they had doubled everything.

Including their security, training, and everything nearby.

He was sure they were ready to defend their home and families, even if it cost them their lives. He now understands the saying that

"Alpha drew power from his pack, while the pack drew strength and courage from their Alpha."

"I can see that the ruthless hybrid has already prepared for the war." Demios's vocalist booms out to the ears of the pack. I'm not afraid of you, stones, or whatever your name is. And I am going to make sure I avenge my wife's death from you all". Alpha Henry replied while clenching his fist in anger, but Rey was already getting ready to take his father's fight.

Since that is what he has been training hard for all this time,

He watches as Deimos lets out a small chuckle and his armies of demons are eager for order.

But that would be their greatest mistake because Alpha Henry was 100% sure that his wolves would beat them with Rey as their leader while he would take the god of terror alone.

"How about we have some fun?" Demios implored

"I am born a ready bloody sucker."

Alpha Henry inspired.

"I will be glad to present your daughter to Vergio while Lord Thanatos happily receives your soul."

Demios elucidated while cracking his bone, obviously getting ready for war.

"You made a mistake, little boy. Franni was already on a journey to Mordor to retrieve the sword." Alpha Henry enlightened. "Trust me, I would do the honour of presenting your head as a surprise gift to Thanatos himself".

"Bring it on, ruthless hybrid."

Demios bellowed with anger in his voice, exactly what Alpha Henry was waiting for.

With the great speed that appears to both the leader and soldier to be invisible, they charge towards each other.

Franni and Nemesis' war was so brutal that every other wolf or vampire choked to death after sniffing in their great and powerful aura. At the moment, Nemesis was about to slice Franni with her silver whips, which were also made of sharp metal. By looking closely, one would know that it was either an adamantium or vibranium product. Franni was quick to evade the attack and retaliate with a punch that caught the nemesis in her lower abdomen while she let out a painful groan and spilled blood.

Nemesis mutters some spells and her eyes turn pinkish, her fingernails grow longer and she screams out loud as cracking of bones is heard in her body. Her body takes the shape of an ugly monster, while the blood she spilled earlier makes her mouth look scarier. Franni, still in her hybrid form, was quick to dodge two plasma balls that were directed towards her by the Nemesis.

Before she could blink, the ugly monster had already vanished from her sight and was nowhere to be found.

Her wolf's reflex kicked in and she quickly rolled away as a sharp claw, or rather finger, tried to thrust into her heart from behind.

She stood up quickly and blocked another poisonous claw that was launched at her face.

She was sure that her wolf was the one directing their body. If not, she might have ended up as a barbecue now. She smiles inwardly at her silly joke.

"Franni, you are distracting me with your silly joke." Her wolf complained mentally.

"I thought you were looking for death? How about we both let our guide down now?"

She answered with a mocking tone.

"Not now, you idiot. At least let me trash your idiot fellow before we finally settle our matter." Fra bellowed.

"At least a minute of distraction would be enough." Franni elucidated, not ready to give up.

"If I get even a single scratch on my beautiful body from this vile aunt of yours before I find my mate, I'll be overwhelmed. I swear by the moon goddess, I will shred you to pieces while the crows will be happy to feed on you".

Junk snapped at her.

"So a junkie is thinking of finding a wolf when she doesn't even know whether she will survive this fight," Franni utters in a mocking tone. Nemesis, seeing that Franni is distracted by whatever she is thinking, uses the opportunity to strike her wolf in the abdomen before tossing her into a nearby tree.

The wolf couldn't help but wince in pain but was quick to hide it. It was obvious she didn't want Franni to taunt her or call her a coward.

Without thinking twice, the wolf reversed the transformation, and Franni was forced out.

Her naked body was visible to the outside world, and there was a deep cut in her abdomen from where the ugly monster struck her, which wasn't healing as she expected.

It means her wolf is now ready to strike back, which could mean she was in danger, knowing fully well that junk wouldn't be able to help again, and here she was, fully naked.

"Junk, you're insane; how did you expect me to deal with this mess without healing or being naked in front of everyone?" Franni elaborated.

" I guess you wanted us dead, so don't disturb me because I'm busy thinking of how to condemn you when we Finally see the moon goddess and how you never let me meet my mate even though I can already smell his scent nearby." Her wolf replied.

"What?" she shouts out loud.

"We are on the verge of dying and you are here talking about it, mate. Are you crazy? "

But she heard no replies, which could only mean one thing: junk wasn't going to answer her again. Leaving her no choice,

She switched to her witch side and stood up to confront the ugly monster in front of her, who was waiting for her to recover from the attack before finishing her off.

"No one can stop me from killing you. Especially now that your wolf has pissed me off". Nemesis snarled while also hissing like a snake. "Now Thanatos would gladly receive your soul and wake up Master Daniel while I become the second stone."

"Perhaps in your dreams," Franni utters and charges toward the Nemesis with a punch, which she easily blocks.

Nemesis opened her mouth and her tongue shot out like a snake, but Franni quickly evaded.

"Turano" Franni screams and thunder strikes toward Asteria.

Unknown to Franni, she has already disappeared from the scene.

She appears at Franni's back and a tongue launches forward, which curls around Franni's neck.

She felt a sharp pain in her abdomen and neck at the same time, while she let out a loud, painful scream.

"If only your wolf hadn't retreated, maybe she might have helped you with the poison I injected into you earlier." Nemesis whispers into her neck. "Now rot in hell. Twins slash "

She shouts and her tongue tightens itself around Franni's neck, which releases venom into her body and destroys her cells

"Now let go and settle our matter before the vultures come for your body."

Franni heard her wolf's mocking voice in her head.

Her body went limp and she lay on the ground helpless while her breathing went rough.
