It had been two years since Vasili and I had gotten married. Lots had changed, Vasili started dancing and went on tour every six months, unfortunately that meant I would be left alone. At first I offered to travel with him, but he insisted he would be practicing all day and would barely get much sleep that I would be alone. 

Plus it had to do with the fact I was partially their boss, everyone knew him and I were married, but it would have seemed slightly unprofessional that everyone lived and travelled the normal way when they were on tour. Whilst Vasili would be with me and rather be jet setting instead of travelling commercial or using a bus.
