Vasili had been awfully quiet ever since my parents had arrived. I knew the reason why, but I just hoped he would come out of his shell just a bit. If Mum got to know him better she would open up to him more. Right now it was just a tense situation as they sort of passively aggressively spoke to one another.

"So after all of this is over what do you plan to do Vasili?" My mum asked across the dinner table.

I sat at the head of the table with Vasili on my left and my mum to my right. Next to my mum sat my dad and Amanda with Marco next to Vasili. Delunca had fallen asleep a few minutes prior so he was in his room.

"I'll probably go into dance again," Vasili answered blankly.

"After nearly two years of not dancing anymore I'm sure you must be nervous. There's a lot of new talent out there," Mum smiled.
