Lucas Astrea's POV

It's been two days since my father escaped the palace and this trial that's happening is in its final stretch and now's the time where they will declare if im guilty of helping my father or not; let's just hope these nobles will honestly decide my verdict or I'll be executed out of nowhere.

The council stood up and the king rose as his assistant opened the scroll that handles my fate. He looks at everyone and then stares at me.

"We declare Lucas Astrea to be innocent, but due to his family name being involved in the crime you are stripped off of your title as a noble." He said and looked at everyone, "This is the final verdict of the king and its council." He looked at me. "Do you have a say to this defendant?" He asked as the guards uncuff me.

I bow down and look at his majesty. "I would gladly accept the punishment."
