1 Forever & Always, Darling

In the early winter morning a young man and woman could be seen laying in bed cuddling each other while watching the final episode of katanagatari with tears on their faces.

"Wow…can't believe that happened" said the young man with abnormal white hair, who wasn't crying but you could tell his nose was a little sour.

"Even with that ending it was still really fun to watch" a young woman with black hair said while wiping the tears from her eyes and snuggling closer to the man.

"That marks our 400th anime/manga we've watched AND finished together" the man got up from the bed to exit out of the anime browsing app.

As the young man got up and signed out he got an email on his phone from a jewelry company

[Greetings Mr. Daizi, Your order of The Brilliant Love Diamond Engagement Ring has been completed and fitted and is ready for pickup.]

The man smiled at this email as he started to get dressed to go pick it up.

"Ah! where are you going Luis?" the young woman seeing her lover get dressed was confused.

"Going to go pick up a gift for our date tonight, i'll be back to pick you up later, Aya." Luis explained while putting on his shirt.

"Can't wait for it, Darling."

In the classy restaurant which you need a reservation of up to 3 months in advance just to get in, sat Luis and Aya at a table towards a window with a great view which costed him extra to obtain.

After some talking and eating Luis was prepared to drop the bomb.

"So, Aya, we've been together for a long time and i-"

*BANG BANG* "EVERYONE ON THE GROUND NOW!"

Two loud gunshots rang through the restaurant as a group of men ran into the establishment with weapons and bags.

Luis instinctively went to protect Aya, a wrong move and the sudden movement made them the first target, and as Luis went all out for the engagement the suit he was wearing made him look rich even though it was rented.

"Hey, kid! Hand over everything you got and there won't be any problems." as Luis went to hand over some money the goons started laughing "You think we stupid or something kid? you look like you got more than this on ya boy"

"I've given you all my money, now fuck off." Luis has always had anger issues, especially when someone accuses him or threatens him and his loved ones.

So the next action one of the goons took set him off.

"Ooh, what a pretty little lady you have with you, say kid how about you let the girl have some fun with us for a few days and we'll leave you alone, deal? okay." before waiting for a reply the goon tried to grab ahold of her.

Luis snapped and threw himself at the goon and got a few punches in before he got shot a few times by the guys friends who was scared of the situation.

"LUIS NO!" Aya screamed as the shock of the situation finally settled enough for her to process her world shattering.

"GODDAMN IDIOT WHY'D YOU SHOOT?! LETS GO BEFORE COPS COME DAMN FOOL!" the men ran out of the building before any police came.

*Cough* "Shit, getting shot hurts" Luis tried to joke to ease his pain and keep himself awake, struggling to do either.

*kiss* "Baby please, keep your eyes open and wait for help to come, we'll get you help and you'll be fine okay?." Aya sobbed quietly while embracing Luis as she tried to stop the bleeding, gently kissing his forehead to keep to pass her warmth and love in hopes of keeping him aware.

In the process of this she found something in his suit jacket pocket and pulled out a box

"Oh *cough* you found it huh? *cough* i guess it's too late to ask huh?" Listening to him and seeing the ring Aya's heart was in turmoil, the sheer happiness she felt from having the man she loves the most in the world proposing to her, to having that same man bleeding out in her arms. she's devastated and how drastically her life is being turned upside down.

She smiles and kisses him on the lips as he says his final words before departing

"Listen, don't do anything drastic please, i love you Aya, Forever and Always."

During her turmoil she felt Luis body go limp as his breathing slows down completely, becoming inaudible as time goes on, she screams his name but realizes he's no longer responsive.

Aya cries harder and harder while trying to get a response from him. Until she's carried out by the police as the ambulance comes to check up on them, pronouncing Luis dead on the scene. Aya then blacks out from the shock.

|3 Weeks Later|

Aya could be seen standing at Luis's grave with tears going down her face.

She says her goodbyes for the day until she comes back tomorrow to clean around his grave again, even if it's only a few leaves.

"Goodbye, and i love you too, Forever and Always, Darling."
