I closed my eyes and talked to myself about this in my head. It was only after 4 hours of thinking I came to a conclusion about this. I texted Andy and Laura to meet me at the park in 10 minutes. They accepted. I washed my face and put on a pair of sneakers and headed to the park. I sat on the bench where we usually sit and chill. I was 2 minutes early. First it was Andrew who showed up as his home is nearest to the park after mine. He waved his hand and hugged me. " what's the matter? Why a meetup all of a sudden?" he asked. "Yeah!" I said with no emotion on my face.

Right then we saw Laura walking towards us. We both waved our hands and so did she. " What's the matter guys? Why a meet up? Anything special?"

"I have made my decision" I said looking down at my feet.

Andrew and Laura sat down beside me. I looked up at Laura and said "Laura, I love you back, just the way you do!" I smiled. I could feel my heart beat, everything around me felt like they are in slow mo. Both Andrew and Laura had a face, they were so happy for me, I could see that in their face. Yeah, I decided that I'm a Gay. After 8 seconds of awkward silence, I spoke, "Will you be my girlfriend, Laura?"

"FUCK YEAH !" She exclaimed out loud. Before I knew it we both were kissing and Andrew was recording our first official kiss. " I'm happy for you guys! I really am. " he seemed more excited than any of us.

I was happy that I was bold enough to take this decision. I called Ms. Agnes and told her what I decided. "Well, congratulations Sophie. That's bold of you. " She chuckled. I said that I will talk to her later. She asked me to take care and disconnected the call. Everything in my life is going back to normal after my dad passing away. My mind wasn't stable since then, but now I felt relieved, like some weight is off my shoulders. I was ready to face the world.

A few days later, I got a call from Ms. Agnes, " Hey Sophie, did you talk to your mom about this? ". All of a sudden it dawned upon me that I have to say this to my mom. "Well, Ms. Agnes, I thought of telling her tomorrow, they will be coming home for Christmas. So, I am going to say them tomorrow."

Later that day, I called my mom. "Hi Mom, I have got something really important to say you."

"Well, the thing is that..." I was silent. "Why don't we talk about this tomorrow when you come here?" I said

"Sure, I can wait. Is it something about your school? "

"No its about me" i said

"Well, ok whenever you want you can speak to me, ok then take care I have some work now. I think I will go and make some coffee now and call you back later."

"Bye dear"
