Where Are We Going

In the morning, moments later, after the sunrise. Aiden took a peek outside from his tent. Aiden saw a shocking sight. There was nothing outside. Aiden immediately came out of his tent. He looked to his right, where the carriage was parked, but the carriage was not there. Even Aiden's horse, Raven, was also not there.

Aiden said to himself, "How can they leave me here? In this Godforsaken land!"

"You're finally awake," Aiden heard a voice coming from his back.

Aiden turned around and saw Eiera Rin sitting on Starlight. Next to Starlight was Raven. Both horses were attached to the carriage. And Luna was floating between both of the horses.

After seeing Eiera and Rin, Aiden took a sigh of relief and approached them. "Were you really going to leave me here alone!" Aiden tone had a hint of anger init.

"If we were going to leave you here, then we wouldn't be waiting for you to wake up," Eiera stated.

Aiden looked up at Eiera, who was holding Starlight's leash in her hands, "Where's Kai? I need to talk to him!" Aiden demanded.

Luna flew in front of Aiden and said, "Kai left a while ago. We were waiting for you to wake up."

Rin was sitting behind Eiera. She looked at Aiden and said, "You can have your breakfast first, then we can leave."

Aiden responded, "I can eat while we continue. Let's go!"

"Before that," Eiera pointed her finger towards Aiden's tent and continued. "Who's going to get that?"

Aiden first gazed at the tent and then looked at Eiera as he responded. "We can leave that here," Aiden stated.

"NO! We are not going anywhere until you get that tent." Luna stated.

Aiden responded, "It's just a tent! We can leave it here." Aiden insisted.

"Go and get that tent!" Eiera ordered Aiden.

"Fine, I'll get that tent, what's your guy's problem," Aiden said. After some time, Aiden packed his tent and mounted Raven to join Eiera, Rin, and Luna. 

Aiden looked at Eiera and said, "Does anyone know where Kai is headed? We don't have the Eternal Blade this time." 

As Eiera heard Aiden's words, a teasing smile curled up on her lips. Aiden noticed Eiera's smile. He asked her, "Is something wrong!"

"We do have the Eternal Blade," As Eiera said, she pulled out the Eternal Blade from her armour belt. She was already equipped with the Eternal Blade, but Aiden didn't notice it Before.

Eiera left the Eternal Blade in the air for it to float in the air. After seeing the Eternal Blade in Eiera's hand, he couldn't resist asking. "How can you wield the Eternal Blade."

Eiera responded, "Kai is the original wielder of the Eternal Blade, but the Blade can also be wielded by the person Kai trusts with his life. And before you ask another question, I can only wield the Blade for moments, and I do not have access to its power." Eiera continued, "If you don't have any further questions, can we continue."

Aiden nodded and said, "Yes, we can continue." After Aiden's approval, the group starts to follow the Eternal Blade.

Hours later, the group is still following the Eternal Blade and carrying the carriage with them. They were following the Blade further into the desert. The sun was beating down on them, making their already tough time even more difficult.

Aiden looked at Eiera. He said, "Can I ask something?"

Eiera gazed at Aiden with a tense expression, "You have been asking so many questions for several hours." Eiera held her head with her right hand, "You just won't stop asking,"

Eiera asked Aiden in anger, "Did we ask why we have to carry this carriage with us if we aren't even using its supplies? What the heck even is in there! Why is it so heavy to carry!"

Aiden replied, "It also has a gift for the King of Verdantia that might be the reason."

Eiera, Rin, and Luna were shocked after they heard Aiden reply. Eiera yelled at Aiden, "And You're Telling Us Now!"

"I should have told you guys earlier about it." Aiden continued, "So, my question was. I know we are not going to Verdantia. So where are we going?"

"You don't deserve to know that!" Eiera stated.

"Come on, you can't say no to a prince like that." Aiden insisted.

No one responds to Aiden. He insists again, " Come on.....Come on.....Come on.....Come"

"Ok...Ok..,Fine, we'll only tell you the name of the place we are going, and no more questions after that. Geez, you're irritating."

Aiden said, "I will not ask you any further questions after knowing about our destination."

"We are going to Eldritch Menagerie," Eiera said.
