Chris's Plan

Once the lunch was done, Snow went back to her sleep.

Though Chris has plans to train her, she is still a newborn. Even though beasts in this world grow faster, especially when tied to a Beast Tamer, he felt that there was no need to put too much stress on her at this point.

There is still time.

Someone who pushes forward without proper planning would only falter and die. Only the steady ones would survive long enough for the people to remember them for a long time.

This world never lacked geniuses. In the history of Beast Tamers, many tamers showed potential to reach the top power level but they died before they reached that level, because those talented geniuses are always in a hurry.

What they never understood was though humans need protection from stronger humans, they can't have someone stronger than them.

It could be either Envy or Greed, that would lead to the premature demise of the talents.

Only a few who have the favour of the world would survive the troubles that come their way but everyone around these persons would suffer due to those troubles.

It doesn't mean that people with low talents have a huge survival rate. No, many of such low-talented ones would run into burning buildings if there was any news of resources that could help them. This could be traps laid by some evil people or there would be too much competition for these resources which would lead to many deaths.

This was because most of the time these low-ranking ones would become cannon fodder, which they couldn't accept. So they would risk for the chance of gaining a higher rank, which leads to many unnecessary deaths.

This is avoidable but that's how the world works.

The most talented were given easy access to resources as they have a bright future and could become the pillars of society while the ones with low potential are forgotten most of the time, except when a crisis occurs.

When a crisis occurs these low-potential ones are the first to die. This was because without high-grade talent, reaching higher ranks would be not easy and they would be stuck at lower ranks for most of their lives.

The ones with low-grade talents would have to settle as security guards or low-level adventurers who would not be able to reach high ranks in their lives.

As guards, they usually have to face any attacks that the town or city would face and during those scenarios, they most possibly die due to their lack of strength.

This is why many low-grade talents would venture deeper into the wilds in search of treasures that could change their lives for the better, even though taking such risks could end in premature deaths.

Many would seek death in this manner, either because they can't imagine living a life in such a manner or they have hopes that they are the protagonists who would reap benefits by taking risks in their lives.

Chris decided not to wake up Snow for the training. Instead, he found himself crawling onto the bed and fell asleep.

Chris woke up in the evening before his parents or his sister returned.

He knew that it would take an hour or two before they returned. So he decided to dive into research first before he would prepare for the night.

"Since I have Snow as my first pet, maybe I should get Frost beasts as my pets in the future. Even though I didn't get any useful skills from Snow, I have Beast Fusion talent, which would help merge the beast with Tamer. When in that mode I can use her skills. So it's best if I have similar skills rather than too many diverse or opposite ones", Chris muttered as he started to write down his ideas.

His first skill is Beast Fusion, which can help him fuse with any contracted pet beast of his and through that he can use the beast's skills.

Since his first pet is a Frost Element beast, it would be best if he chooses other beasts in the future that belong to the Frost Element.

This decision was not made on a whim though that appears to be the case.

Since the beast is of Frost Element, when Chris fuses with Snow, then his body would subtly change to allow the fusion better and to use Frost Element.

So if he contracts a Fire Element beast as his next pet and fuses with it, the Frost and Fire would clash with each other. Though Chris may not see the damage immediately but there would be some damage to his body nonetheless.

Since he already has Frost Element Beast, it's best to either choose an element that is either similar or neutral. So the best choices would be Frost, Water or Wind Elemental Beasts.

Many think that since Chris has Beast Fusion, unlike Fire Talent or something like that, he can use any beast as his pet but that is wrong.

He can choose any for his first pet and from then on, he has to choose pets based on his first one or he can ignore that Beast Fusion Talent with those new pets.

If there is a beast available to make his pet with very high potential like a dragon or something like that, he can ignore the element of that beast. He can just use that one as usual beast tamers use instead of fusing with it.

At this moment, Chris knew that getting his hands on those special beasts. He is not an idiot. he knew that only a few were lucky to get something like that and so he is preparing for the reality in his position.

He started to scour the internet to look for every detail about Frost Fox and also at the same time looking for Frost and Water Element Beasts.

Chris felt that even though he can from a few other beasts, he decided to select his next beast which is either a Frost Beast or a Water Beast. He felt that with those beasts he would most likely be in sync when compared to other elements.
