Getting ready

Once again Alex stands in front of the place he would rather not be, he never even considered bringing the book or asking Alice for it, on the porch Dominique is with Chara greeting him back.

Calmly and quietly they walk back inside, Dominique deadbolts the door from the inside, Alex can feel how scared she is, "Now you two into the feeder room now please."

They do as instructed, "So you didn't really hurt Chara?"

"Of course not…I just was scaring you a little."

"So you want to talk about something Dominique?" Alex asks, Dominique hands him vials of something red almost purplish in color.

"Take this first and have a little chat with Chara and we will talk later," Dominique says before leaving the room snickering, Chara takes the bottle from Alex's hands.

She examines it before handing it back, "Alex you can't take that."

"But if I don't what will he do to us?" Alex adds, "Is it a spell?"

"Of course it is Alex…" Chara replies placing her hand on his gently kissing the lid of the bottle, it glows slightly turning black at the bottom of the liquid.

"You always been one of my oldest friends Chara, I will do it to save you."

Alex chugs the bottle down placing the bottle in his pocket, "Surely can't be that bad?" He responds smiling, he exits looking back at Chara.

"You are making a mistake Master Alex…"

He strolls to the small open office at the end of the hall; Dominique automatically catches sight of Alex in front of him placing the phone down on the table, "Elijah is finally needing us to do our job."

"So he finally lost his mind to Dominique?"

"We all knew this was bound to happen."

"I will meet you at the spot then," Alex answers pulling away from the desk, Chara confronts Alex coming out of the room.

"Master Alex, are you feeling okay?"

"Of course, whatever it was must be for Elijah's encounter."

"You and Master Dominique…you need to stay safe Master."

Alex cracks a smile, "Chara, I am leaving with you this time with you. I promise!"

Chara doesn't comment, she brings her fingers to her lips in deep thought, "Master Alex..."

"Don't worry please." He re-assures her placing his hand around her waist; they stroll to her small room where she picks her staff up, Alex unlatches the deadbolt ready to go out.

"Where was Master Elijah spotted? Has Lady Trinity shown up yet?" Chara requests to know, Alex only shakes his head-warming his fingers up and legs by stretching.

"Trinity will show up on her own, she has the toughest job…"

"Poor Lady Trinity, her life with Elijah up till now had so long." Chara mourned swinging her staff around for fun, the tips starts to burn a cyan blue.

The sun hangs high in the sky, Alex blocks the sight with his hand, "Elijah's mind went on a sunny day."

"Deterioration of immortality just happens Master Alex." Chara laughs still feeling slightly morose.

They turn towards the thickly wooded forest ahead of them listening around for any signs or stomps.

Chara sighs loudly, "We have to go in without Master Dominique and Lady Trinity it seems."

"What's important is giving him his finality of rest…"

"Master Alex, doesn't this scare you?"

"No..." Alex replies closing his eyes, "There is no such thing as true immortality here."

"Master Alex. Is the sun hurting your eyes?"

"It's nothing…we need to go Chara."

Alex and Chara dart into the surroundings splitting up till they reach the center of the wood which had been cleared out, in the middle of the large place is a rock with ancient writing carved into it.

Chara steps on the raised ledge of the stone, she bites into her hand before placing her hand on the hard surface of the indentations letting it absorb in.

"All we can do is wait now," Alex responds placing his hand over his eyes slightly wobbling.

"Master Alex, what is the matter?"

"Nothing, I might not have had enough rest," Alex says plopping to the ground sitting by the stone.

"Miss me?" Dominique announces prancing in, "Have Elijah been spotted yet?"

"Not yet Master Dominique, were resting for now." Chara greets him submissively, his eyes spot Alex slightly laboring to breathe.

"Are you feeling okay Alex?" Dominique asks sneaking a sneer, in the distance crushing and thrashing around could be heard in the distance; Alex gets up in a rush getting into stance.

"We need to keep it at bay till Lady Trinity makes it masters!" Chara shouts, Dominique pulls his gloves off readying his blood magick.

Inaudible words could be heard muttered; a dark aura could be felt secreting itself through the entirety of the forest. "Keep on your toes, everyone." Dominique spouts.

Alex's face starts to flush the longer they wait for Elijah to come in closer.
