Meeting her son

Zina's POV

I ran towards Jared and threw my arms around him. He looked so different now. He had gotten more muscles and he looked so handsome.

He was looking down at me with a glazed expression and I was left wondering what he's thinking about.

"How are you doing? Where have you been?"

He still had that gazed expression on his face and I was left wondering what was wrong with him. "Hello, earth to Jared, can you hear me?" I said as I snapped my fingers at his face.

Jared seemed to have snapped out of it and he looked down at me with so much intensity, I couldn't help but melt under his gaze.

What is wrong with him?

He walked towards me and I suddenly grew nervous under his gaze.

"Zina, do you feel anything?" He asked with a serious expression on his face.

"Feel what?"

He dragged his hand through his hair and I could tell he was getting frustrated and nervous "Like a pull between us. Do you feel anything?"
