Echo McCall

Credit cover goes to the amazing person who created this picture, I found it on google but wanted to credit them in some way. Derek never believed in soul mates and love at first sight. That was until he met Echo, yes that's her name. She is Scott's younger sister, but only by a year. Scott was always protective of her, especially after all The Alphas and other things running around Beacon Hills causing havoc. Derek hasn't properly loved anyone since Paige and he has built emotional walls around himself to stop him getting hurt again. What happens when they both cross paths? Will Derek reject her in fear of being hurt or will he let her in overtime? Echo is not as confident as her brother and likes to spend her time with a small group of people. However, she is a good friend of Lydia, Allison, Malia, Hayden, and briefly Kira. She mostly had her head inside one of her books and was extremely clever. She often had to help Scott with some of his homework. Everyone looked out for Echo as she was sort of viewed as the 'weak one' among everybody. Her best friend has always remained the same person, Isaac Lahey. People say it was ridiculous but they both ignored everybody and spent time with each other a lot. Liam was a very close friend as well, probably coming in at second place after Isaac of course and spent time with Echo a lot. Echo wished for the supernatural world she had read about to be real, she took her Dad leaving extremely hard as she was closer to him than Scott was and she was never fully herself after he left, but she picked up the pieces eventually. I hope you enjoy this story! ~Shadowemme~

Book 2 - Chapter 9

Trudy's POV

"Hey Dad" I got up from the boy and walked over to my father. I stood infront of him and wrapped my arms around his front, well, the best I could at the small height that I'm at. He slowly put his arms around me in return, I would be hesitant too if I saw my daughter who I thought was dead standing in front of you like nothing had changed. I heard the boy groan behind me and I ran out of Dad's arms and to the boy. I had an instict almost, to protect him and make sure he was ok.

"Ace" I heard Dad mutter out before coming towards us and lifting Ace off the floor and into his arms. "Who is he, and why is he out here on a full moon, the hunters will be after us!" Dad sighed and shook his head, "The Hunters that are here now are the Argents and we have an alliance" I nodded and followed Dad as he walked through the forest, "This is Ace, he's your brother" My jaw dropped, "So you're saying that you and Mom continued having kids while I was out here alone?" My voice broke at the end.

I know I was being a bit of a brat, they thought I was dead and they had to move on at some point. "Oh god, your mother, how on earth is she going to cope with this" Dad sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "We need to get him back anyway, it's not safe out here, hunters or no huntets" Dad nodded and we continued through the preserve until we came back to the pack house, how I'd missed this place. I opened the door for Dad who was carrying Ace.

Ace had calmed down and was laying down on the sofa, a slight ruckus was going on in the kitchen and I decided to try and find out what it was. Dad had left a couple of seconds ago, I stepped out of the living room and into the kitchen, there was a human standing in there with....mom. "Mom!" I cried out, launching myself at her, she tried to push me away before realising who I was. "Oh my child! What- How? Trudy!" I cried into my mother's shoulder.

The human was looking at us weirdly, "Who's this Echo? I'm completely lost, first, there's the ex boyfriend who doesn't seem to give up, Ace goes missing, Silvie is who knows where, and then this random scraggly thing turns up!" I growled at him, the disrespect is ridiculous. "Who's the ex boyfriend?" I asked mom, who looked like steam was coming out of her ears. "One, Trudy, this is Max, Max this is Trudy, my daughter. Trudy, Max is my boyfriend."

My eyes widened largely. "What?! What about Dad?!" I looked back at my father to see him avoiding my gaze completely. Mom was about to say something when a flash of brown hair passed me, I heard giggles that sounded like they were from a young girl. I looked over to see the little girl clinging onto my dad's leg. "Daddy!" The girl said upto him, I just froze in place. I didn't know what was going on here.

Please can somebody explain!
