well....., this is what would have happened to marvelous if he was a criminal, cause the demon wipes out crime

But instead he possessed him, Marvelous not knowing much about it.

Marvelous finally arrived at his family apartment , his dad was really mad at him

Mr.simon: why are you just coming in !. It's 12:17am. You've left home since 10:45 pm

just to get me drink from the nearby supermarket, it won't take you more than 15 to 20 minutes

Mr.simon almost hitting marvelous as he tries to take cover

Marvelous: I'm sorry, I couldn't find the drink from any nearby supermarket, they've all closed

Joshua cuts in

joshua:Yh, that's was there was curfew yesterday.

From what I read on my phone our estate and some neighbouring estates were on curfew.

The elders forum were looking for a new leader and had to make some rituals in order to find a righteous leader. And anybody that comes out will face the wrath of the gods.

The ritual took place in the main estate market

Mr.simon and Mrs.simon frightened because marvelous was outside

Mrs.simon What!, we didn't know about this curfew because we were at Ghana and we switched our phones off.

Mrs.simon: pls tell me you didn't go to the main market

Marvelous didn't know what to say , with the trouble he already has on ground for coming late

And you know typical African mothers, If they insist you shouldn't do something and you do it , once you're in trouble for doing it you'll never hear the end of it

" I told you not to do it but you did ! , I know better than you ,

What an adult can see while sitting a child can't see it even if he climbs a tree "

Marvelous: No ma, I didn't go the the main market .

Mrs.simon: That's good.

(Moments later , they all prayed and dashed to their rooms.

Joshua and marvelous sleeps in the same room , while Sharon prefers sleeping in the living room to her room.

Moments later , the demon that possessed marvelous started talking to him and kept on saying this word "There's a robbery at ajao estate , block 73"

At first marvelous thinks it's an illusion but it kept on disturbing him .

It was weird for him to talk back to the demon since it was in his head.

The last words the demon said to him was " go to ajao estate, block 73. you've every power you can think of "

It was more of instinct when he snuck out of the house, he said to himself "I have any power I can think of"

He kind of believed what the demon said but he can't tell what was talking to him. He just knew that something supernatural happened to him when he went to the main market.

So he imagine flying and tried moving before he knew it He started flying. At first he couldn't control himself but later he got the hang of it . He got to block 73, and landed down move to the scene where the robbery was taking place

(to the robbers)

Marvelous: What are you doing ?

one of the robbers: About to play hide and seek with the police , what are you doing ?

Marvelous : I'm here to stop you guys

one of the robbers : (laughs) ridiculous!,

Marvelous hits the robber and immediately he shot marvelous

The second robber: wtf man, why did you shoot , he's just a kid, he looks 15

The first robber : he's a mf, why did he hit me

Marvelous lying down on the ground discovered he wasn't dead then stood up

The robbers were shocked

Marvelous then fought with them this time and he was very fast they couldnt touch him

Marvelous later brought them down but one of the robbers died accidentally. Then the police arrived and he handed them to the police

The next morning at the college, Marvelous went straight to the basketball court

Dennis: see who's here the boy that didn't attend training since last week. He finally showed up

Marvelous: it wasn't deliberate I went to....

Dennis: (interupts) I just hope you didn't come today to play the game 2 of the final

Marvelous: yes of course, I came to play

Dennis:Who do you think you are !, you think you can just come from anywhere without attending training and come to play

Marvelous: That's left for coach to judge

Coachie: (walks in) you're stupid! , you missed training for four training days and you expect

me to put you in the team

( the demon speaks to marvelous once again, "you know you're a lot stronger , faster , better now show them what you've got ")

Marvelous: (holds a basketball, moves from the end of the court to the centre and made a clean shot , every body were shocked )

Dennis: so, what are you trying to prove, that was just one lucky shot.

Marvelous: (moves again from one end to another and this time he made a slam dunk)

Buari: damn, Marvelous must have been through intensive training

Marvelous: (realises he can fit a lie into what buari just said ) yes, I prefer individual training to group training that's why

coachie: well if that's the case you're in for today's game we will discuss our team plan when the college closes by 3pm.

you all know today's game is starting by 4:30pm

Later in the afternoon, the game started , Marvelous performance in the first quarter was unbelievable he made 6 out of 8 3-point shots and his dunk was unbeatable the first quarter ended 28-8 where marvelous made 20 points and 2 assists.

During the beginning the second quarter of the game, the demon spoke to him that there was an emergency . He flew there, he went for emergencies back to back and finally he was done with the emergencies, he came back to the college. The game was just at it's last quarter by then there were looking 53-37

Marvelous walks in to meet the coach

coachie:(to marvelous, angrily) hey! were have you been

Marvelous: ehm..., I'd been at the school clinic. I had body pain.

coachie: why did you leave without telling me

Marvlous: I'm sorry

coachie: Never try that again !

Marvelous: yes sir

Coachie: well, are you better now ?

can you play the last quarter?

Marvelous: yes

( Coachie brings on marvelous

Marvelous played better than the first quarter, he made 8 out of 10 three points shot.

Then, just 15 seconds left for the game to be over and peace college were leading John Jakob college

71-66. The first three seconds, Marvelous managed to steal the ball and makes a 3-point shot. 71-69 the score was, with 12 seconds left peace college wanted to keep the ball within to waste time. The students of John Jakob started cheering the team on. They pressurised peace college just 4 seconds left marvelous passed the ball to the team's captain Dennis, he wasted time making his decision he shot the ball, he fell and missed !

I'm sorry for posting this chapter very late

I'd been very busy lately

And for those who don't know much about basketball who are gonna probably get bored from the basketball scenes , I will try and make them quick as possible for the coming chapters

And you know I'm not the kind of author that writes up drama but these coming chapters I'll try and cook up some dramas and comedy which are not in the initial chapters
