The Haunting of the Abandoned House

In a remote little mountain village, there stood an abandoned house that had long been shrouded in mystery. The villagers spoke of an eccentric old lady who used to reside there. She had a peculiar habit of calling out in the middle of the night, which terrified the entire village and kept them far away from her abode. One day, the old lady vanished without a trace, but her haunting cries never ceased.

Several years later, a young couple decided to move into this very house. Initially, everything seemed tranquil, but as night descended, they began to hear the old lady's eerie wails. Fear-stricken, the couple could find no escape from this inexplicable phenomenon. One fateful night, the wife discovered a tattered note in their room. It read: "Old lady, funeral, six o'clock in the evening." She was overwhelmed by dread, yet her husband dismissed it as a prank.

When six o'clock in the evening arrived, they suddenly heard a series of blood-curdling cries, and the entire house began to shake violently. Panic-stricken, they fled in all directions, but they could feel the old lady's vengeful spirit relentlessly pursuing them. Ultimately, they sought refuge back in their room, only to witness a pair of eyeless eyes appearing on the window. It was the apparition of the old lady, lurching towards them, and the couple could evade her no longer. Since that night, people dared not approach the forsaken house, and it eventually crumbled into ruins.
