Earth: Reboot

Izak Smith was a Private Investigator that also loved Video Games. When the real world laws started to apply in the game he put both skills to work and what he found ended his very life, a group of players that were outside the rules of the game and could kill your real world body. But that was not the end, it was a new beginning. He woke up to right before the game started and used his knowledge to become the games strongest character. Would it be enough to stop them or would things end the same way?

Izak could not believe that he had woken up at all. He felt like his entire chest was on fire not only his chest but also to the pit of his stomach. He throat was on fire and he really needed a bit of water. He shifted the hand that Abby was holding a little bit and she instantly jerked awake. But she was not all the way awake yet and was not sure why she woke up. She looked around and realized that Izak was looking at her.

Abby noticed that he was awake and almost leapt on him but then realized she could really hurt him and stopped herself. "Oh, my god. Jen, go get the doctors and tell them that he is awake." Jen jumped up and rushed out of the room.

Izak was in a lot of pain but still managed to tell her what he wanted. "Water."

Abby was about to pour him a glass of water out of the pitcher they brought for her and put the straw to his lips when the nurse came in.
