Thanos looked around and finds ruins and destruction, reminding him of his home planet and all the planets he conquered along the way due to his ambitions.
Thanos glanced at Thor who stood up gripping his axe and said " Thor Odinson"
There is no other context as there is no more time to waste and Thor don't have any plans on listening.
Captain Marvel and Wanda also prepared for another confrontation to obliterate Thanos as he is not unharmed from all those force from different energies.
Specifically speaking, he is hurt from Cain's last punch earlier and to now, he doesn't rest for a second. His conviction and ambition powering him up to walk forward no matter how much harm and injuries he got along the way.

At last, all infinity stone gathered at one place collected by one person attached to a single Gauntlet.
The universe's six different elemental crystals held by Thanos. Not everyone is capable of physically putting on the Infinity Gauntlet.
The amount of energies and power it contains the wearer and puts an unimaginable strains and most people who tried to use it would not be able to physically or mentally hold up against that onslaught of power.
This is the biggest reason others couldn't use the Infinity Gauntlet; as the amount of power and the effort would tear them apart.
Donning the Completed Infinity Gauntlet, he stood proudly and look at the sun, reminiscing a special memory as he only has to take the last step.
Thor and Captain Marvel flew at their top speed towards Thanos as they saw him just standing there and then turning his gazed to their direction.
Captain Marvel's onslaught of photon blitz beamed through the space towards Thanos who seems unguarded.
So Thor comes raging in looking for Thanos because he's got a bone to pick with him. He wants his very own personal revenge for what he did to him, his brother, and his people.
Since Thor is so damned enraged, he not only wants to kill Thanos, he wants Thanos to concede and accept that the mighty God of Thunder is more powerful than he is. So we get this scene in return
Thor stopped mid air for a moment with electrifying Stormbreaker and then hurled it forward with all his power.
The only problem with this is that Thanos is extremely smart and immediately realizes Thors lust for revenge and uses his last bit of energy to out wit Thor.
He blasted the Stormbreaker with Infinity beam changing it direction and reducing its power but it is still threatening and he can't stop it completely because of Thanos wanted to die.
His unabated subconscious rising to the surface. If Thanos wanted to stop Stormbreaker, he could have stopped It with the gauntlet but concedes in only parrying it.
The Stormbreaker arrive along with the Photon beam but stop for a few meters due to a barrier protecting Thanos.
Thanos' declarations are heard by all the people of this region including the Earth's mightiest heroes.

When I opened my eyes, what I saw was I am alone leaning on the stone, without any bandage or signs of being treated.
I turn my gaze forward and my mind cleared as well as my eyesight, taking information from my surroundings.
My eyes trembled greatly to what I heard and then my heart shake before something similar to blinking happened before my very eyes.

I stood up and look at the people who disappear one by one and together at the same time.

The others just stared at their friends and people vanishing like a smoke.
Depression filled their faces as defeat and tiredness revealed itself one after another.
I know this might happen. I consider this as possibility. I've known the future but doesn't have enough strength to change it.
The timeline is forcing itself no matter how much I tampered it. And I learned the most valuable thing that this battle has to offer.
