3 The pride and shame of an otaku

' I'm a little ashamed of just how easy this is... ' I sat still on the bed within the room that seemed to be frozen in time with a [*ding* Information sufficient for full archive acquisition] sounding in my mind every 2 minutes or so, with bigger IPs, sequels or even some side stories taking much longer approaching 5 -15 minutes.

My strategy for these 12 hours is simple: Start with the non-anime/manga works then move into the traditional otaku section. If I get stuck in the mud with those IPs my twelve hours will be soaked into Light Novels and HUGE works like One Piece. Although I believe I will be good enough at this recall business to get those archived as well, it's better to be safe than sorry. Marvel's Universe, Transformers, Skyrim, Avatar the Last Airbender (Including LOK), Assasin's Creed, Minecraft, Star Wars, Doctor Who, WOW, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, The Name of the Wind, and more. Books, tv shows, and movies, everything I could remember the key information of I tried. Although most attempts to obtain complete archives were successes, some were utter failures. For example, I can't remember the "Elder Scrolls" entire background, I only remember Skyrim in particular since I never played ESO or even Morrowind. I dug so deep into the memories that I felt like I'd been reliving my entire life within 5 hours. Yes, it took me 5 hours for all of the non-anime/manga stuff, and now, it's time for the good stuff.

Naruto (never messed with Boruto, tried but being on up in age, this style of work seemed very geared towards children and it left me uninterested), Bleach, Fate, Death Note, CG, Inuyasha, One Piece, Pokemon, SAO, and more... I felt like I was speeding through, however, what I thought would be a breeze grew increasingly harder. As time progressed I was trying to remember the heroine's name from "Rurouni Kenshin" but before I could speak it allowed *DING*.

The blue screen displaying the timer showed all zeros and it disappeared and time seemed to move once again. My mind felt no different than before however, it felt like there was a whole new section in my brain that housed all of the IPs I was able to recall the details of. Everything, landscapes with trees and grass types, names of every character, timelines, and insights in regards to plot points that seemed so insignificant at the time but are now crystal clear for all of the IPs within this mental section.

I took stock of my current state ' even though I spent 12 hours working my brain to the hardest I don't feel fatigued now, it all just disappeared when time restarted itself. Well, I suppose it's time to start this new life...
