Royal Ludroth

With an exasperated sigh, Tracha lined up his crosshairs directly against the back of the Royal Ludroths head....it was moving slowly in a triumphant march to find its new herd, but it didn't expect what came next...

*FLINK*-*WOOSH*

*ROOOAAARRR!!!*

The creature screamed in pain as a poison round embedded itself into the back of its neck, using the recently opened wounds caused by the Great Jaggi...

It wiped its head around quickly, only to be hit by another poison round right into the eye...after the third round hit, purple-colored veins could be seen around the targeted areas (which included the beast's eyes) showing the lethal poison now raging in the bloodstream...

Like any cornered and lethally injured monster, adrenaline and fear worked as fuel resulting in the beast gaining that last burst of strength...

'Oh sh[t...' thought Tracha, as water attacks were being shot frantically and fiercely by the now blinded Royal Ludroth, and the beast seems to have locked onto his location...

*Thump* *Thump* *Splash*

One after another, water bombs landed near Tracha who was bobbing and weaving, diving and rolling, nothing graceful about it....the once worshiped creator and innovator were now inventing new curses with eyes wide open as he ran for his life from an angry Monster...

"WHAT THE F\/CK!?....YOU"RE BEING DISRESPECTFUL YOU M0THERF\/CKING LIZARD, THAT POISON WAS POTENT ENOUGH TO...KILL....a... " while fleeing for his life, Tracha had a sudden realization; he used the poison rounds taken from his father's stash, not the newly purchased ones...

'Which means...OH, GOD...'

Realizing that the poison used has lost all efficacy and was probably only useful to blind the beast and cause more bleeding, Tracha employed evasive maneuvers to ensure his 'gamer-thinking' didn't kill him in this new world...

After getting a little ahead of the blind Royal Ludroth, Tracha pulled the shock trap from his belt and activated it before dropping it behind himself....right into the monster's path.

....

As the beast barreled towards its unknown assailant with reckless abandon and fury, it fell into a hastily placed shock trap causing it to stiffen and shake in pain.....screaming out in rage.

It didn't notice the red barrel rolling towards its trapped face....and a treacherously smiling Tracha down on one knee, propping up a bowgun aimed directly at the moving barrel.

...

If one was present at the scene, just before the shot left the barrel of the bowgun, a resounding shout could be heard from the smiling human...

"I HAVE COME HERE TO CHEW BUBBLEGUM AND KICK A$$.....AND I'M ALL OUT OF BUBBLEGUM!!!!"

*BOOOOM*

With an earth-shaking explosion, dust and debris filled the surroundings and all was quiet. Tracha felt his ears ringing slightly as he folded his gun and placed it on his back...the beast was dead and he knew it.

When the smoke finally cleared, a twitching corpse of the Royal Ludroth was visible...half of its face and head obliterated in the explosion.

*Scoff*

"Well, at least something in my new father's collection is still effective..." said the smiling man as he marched his way over to the Royal Ludroth, he was trained to quickly carve the valuable parts and what was needed before moving away quickly.....especially if one was alone. You never knew what kind of beast needed an easy meal...

....

After taking some trophies from the downed monster, Tracha decided to continue his quest to get the ore....' failing my first quest isn't something I really want to do, even if I already have massive gains...'

Another day passed as he traveled with little happening, but right as he was about to enter a cave system known to have ore veins, he heard multiple screaming people coming from the distance. He crept closer quietly, hoping that there was no trouble...

When he glanced around the rock he just approached, he saw four fellow hunters being harassed by what looked to be thirty Felyne thieves constantly jumping up from underground, grabbing items from their person, and sprinting off...

Humans don't like to hurt the little guys usually, as they don't cause harm unless attacked, but they couldn't stand by and let their livelihoods get stolen...

With a sigh, Tracha pulled out some Royal Ludroth tissue that had some blood still on it, and carried it in front of him as he approached the fiasco...

*MEOWW* *MEOW**

Almost in unison, the Felynes started sniffing the air before their great escape happened....they smelt the dangerous lizards coming and knew what to do....leaving behind their stolen goods in favor of their well-being.

Chastain Grey finally finished her speed run, gaining great power and access to Dome City. After Ascencion, she used her token to claim a remote territory near the outskirts of the Dome. After some planning and the like, she dove into Monster Hunter's world as she was looking for her next adventure and new guild member recruits.

After her transmigration, she became the daughter of the fishmonger in Moga Village who was a newish hunter. Through a string of events, she found three fellow Dome City Travelers and thus started their hunting party....they all agreed to join her new guild after Monster Hunter as they were all solo divers and the landscape in Dome City was tilting more and more towards needing to have a team backing you...

After many simple quests near the village, the four-person team who has finally got accustomed to this new world decided to take a mission to kill a pack of Ludroths. They tracked them to their current location but, before they could continue their hunt after a night's rest, they were attacked by a cohort of tribal cats with sticky fingers.

Strangely though, just as they were going to start fighting the cute creatures for their goods, the little guys dropped everything and fled.....then, they heard someone shout.

"Hey friends, cats got your.....well, everything?..."

They turned to see their chief's second son smiling while holding a piece of bleeding carcass....approaching slowly.
