Whatever it takes
The sunlight shines through the tent that the Ringleaders made, Hazeki woke up from the light on his eyes..
"Hey wake up.." Levin walks toward Hazeki.
"Have you seen Kiera?" Koko went to Levin.
"Kiera? When did she get up?" Hazeki stood up.
"I don't know, I just woke up and she's gone." Koko explained and panics
"Look, it's Kiera's shoes" Kiko showed the shoes that he found in the corner.
"Wait, did she leave that or someone took her?" Moga asked.
"If she would leave, she will tell us." Koko said
"We better look for her, now that she's missing someone or something took her." Levin said.
Everyone prepares to find Kiera leading to where the shoes was found.
__Kiera's POV__
*Clang Clang* The metal spears clang into the bars of cage where Kiera was. Inside a cave full of tribe men. "Let me out! You ugly monkey!" Kiera shouted to the man with huge body and full of tattoos.
"No out. We eat." The tribe man said.
"Are you going to eat me?!" Kiera asked. The tribe man moved his head sideways and gives Kiera fruits.
"Thanks for the food but you have to let me go. I'm not special, I don't own anything. Kiera explained but the tribe man doesn't understand her.
"Oh, I hope they could find me. I must think of a way to escape." Kiera said
__Ringleader's POV__
"Kiera!" Hazeki shouts as they walk deeper in the forest.
"Kiera! Where are you?!" Koko shouted hoping they would find Kiera.
"There's no use in shouting, we should split." Levin said.
"No, what if someone get hurt again?" Hazeki said and continues to walk.
"He's right captain." Lily pat Levin's shoulder and walks.
"Any leads?" Kiko asked Hazeki but Hazeki couldn't find any clues.
"I think it's best to look near the rivers." Lily suggested.
"Why?" Levin asked.
"If there are people here, they would live in the nearest source of water…." Lily said and pointed at the falls from the East.
"Good idea, maybe Kiera is there." Moga said and the Ringleaders followed the Falls.
Most of the Animals they encounter are wild boar and tigers. There was a moment that they had to stop moving to save their lives from a bear. As they continue to look for Kiera, Hazeki stepped into a trap and an arrow flew right into Levin's shoulder.
"ACK!" Levin held onto his shoulder.
"CAPTAIN!" Everyone run to Levin but Levin stopped them.
"STOP! There are traps everywhere, be careful." Levin said and everyone realize that there are traps everywhere.
While everyone are thinking of a plan, Kiera on the other hand tried to kick the cage but it won't bust. Kiera gave up on escaping and sat on the floor, sound of footsteps came in the cave and Kiera immediately stood up to see who it was.
"Your friends.." the man in front of Kiera said.
"What did you do to my friends?!" Kiera said furiously.
"Don't worry, I don't have them. They are just playing with themselves inside the forest. The more they look for you, the more they will be in danger." The man said.
"W-What do you mean?" Kiera said.
"This island is an island of traps..you can only escape this once you set a trap on someone." The man said.
"H-how? How can I leave?" Kiera asked.
"And because of you, many of us can leave." The man left saying those words.
"How am I supposed get out of here?" Kiera asked herself.
"LEVIN!" Hazeki shouted.
"He's losing blood, don't remove the arrow Captain!" Koko shouted as well while carefully making her way to get close to Levin.
"Don't worry about me, these traps are unusual, you see those trees? That's where the bow came from." Levin said pointing on a huge tree.
"Maybe I can get a closer look." Lily said and jumps around to dodge the arrows. When she reached the top of the tree, she was shocked to see how the traps are made.
"Lily!" Hazeki shouted.
Lily saw the tree was producing its own arrows and it starts shooting whenever it sense movement.
"Any news Lily?" Moga asked.
"Don't move." Lily said while investigating the tree.
"It senses our movements, seems like it can feel it from the ground." Lily shouted.
"What?!" Koko asked in a full voice.
"The roots, this tree produces arrows and shoots anything that moves because of its roots, we have to climb up." Lily shouted.
"Everyone, up right now." Levin ordered.
"No, we're not leaving you here captain." Kiko said.
"Yeah!" Moga said and throw his bag.
"SWOOSH!" An arrow shoots moga's bag right after it touches the ground.
"I have a plan." Hazeki said.
"Argh!!! Why is this so firm?!" Kiera keep on kicking the bar until the cage slightly deform.
"Yes!" Kiera escaped and run outside the cave to find her at the top of the waterfalls.
"Oh my god! What should I do?" Kiera looks for a way to go down but she can only see a single vine that looks sturdy enough to carry her.
"I should save my friends, whatever it takes." Kiera jumped and grab the vine to swing to the other side of the mountain. "AAAAAHHHHHHH!" Kiera managed to cross the huge falls and fell to the ground near her. Kiera lose consciousness and the moment she close her eyes something saw her.
"Come on! Grab my hand!" Hazeki shouts as moga grab his hand to escape the trap.
"We did it!" Koko turned and look at Levin's spot. "But the captain can't move, he's bleeding and we have to save him." worried Koko said.
"Go on, save Kiera. We need to be fast for us to get out of here." Levin said. "I'll think of a way to save myself. That's and order. Go!" Levin said.
"But Captain!" Moga denied Levin's idea but Hazeki encourage everyone to trust Levin.
"Thanks everyone, don't die out there, I'll meet you at the ship." Levin said.
"Ngh..What is that?" Kiera woke up from a lick of a creature.
"W-What?!" She immediately stood and hide from the creature. She looked at it once again and saw how cute it was despite it's size.
"H-Hey..What are you?" Kiera asked the creature.
"You look like a cat but a size of a lion, fur like a bear and as black as a panther." Kiera slightly went close to the creature and tried to pet it but then it hisses.
"Oh hey I'm not gonna hurt you." But it still hisses and its fur glow like the light of a moon at night.
"Wow..you look so enchanting.." Kiera said but the creature ran behind Kiera and protect her from a rustle on the forest.
"W-What is it? Why are you getting mad?" Kiera got scared but the creature ran.
"Hey wait!" Kiera run after the creature and when the creature stop she saw Hazeki and the others scared of the creature.
"Wait! They're my friends!" Kiera shouted and everyone turned to the source of the voice and saw Kiera.
"Kiera!!!" They forgot the creature and ran to Kiera to hug her.
"Are you guys okay?" Kiera asked.
"We should be the one to ask that! Why did gone missing? We're so worried!" Koko cried.
"Sorry, there's a tribe here that kidnaps people, I think you need to sacrifice someone or something to get out of here." Kiera explained.
"I think you need to trap someone to escape this island." Lily said.
"Umm, Kiera what is this?" Hazeki said while the creature licks him.
"Oh! That creature saved me. I don't even know your name." Kiera went close to the creature and touch it's face. "Sora..." Kiera said as she heard the creature talk to her in her mind..
"How..did you hear it?" Kiera asked Hazeki.
"Hear what?" Confused Hazeki.
"He said his name..you didn't hear him?" Kiera asked.
"No?" Hazeki said. Kiera thought that only her can hear the creature.
"Wait, where's captain?" Kiera looks for Levin.
"He's left at the center of that forest. He's trap so we have to hurry and help him out." Kiko pointed to the huge tree.
"What are we waiting for? We should hurry up and save him!" Kiera said.
Levin struggles as he tried to stop the bleeding on his shoulder. He then take a seat slowly.
"I hope she's doing okay." Levin said to himself then a branch of tree cracks, Levin looks behind him but saw nothing.
The rustle continues and someone was hiding behind the bush planning to kill Levin. He then points his polearm to the source of the sound. The person hiding under the bush saw how Levin was injured.
"You shouldn't go here, there are traps everywhere." Levin warn the person hiding.
"I know." A woman's voice replied.
Levin was shock to hear a woman's voice inside the island knowing it's just men's tribe. He then felt a stinging on his wound.
"Argh!" Levin held his wound and moved. When the tree shoots the arrow, the woman went close to him as fast as the lightning, Levin saw a woman kneeling beside him, protecting him from the arrows with a barrier.
"Be careful." A woman with long straight white hair and two different eye colors, brown and silver protected Levin with her summoned barrier.
