Ch-14, Family and Secrets-4

The ball of light disappears and the couple stare at each other.

"What missions did he tell you to complete???"{Zach}

Ken explains the situation to his parents while they get shocked about the dangerous nature of the missions and also the part which are completely ridiculous.

"Issei must be a magnet to attract so many women that the higher beings are jealous of him. I think that this 'Vali' is too pitiful as the higher being has told you to play match maker."{Zach}

"Still, it will take quite a lot of time and preparation to complete these missions. Well, Ken-kun~~ if you need help then we are here."{Anna}

"Well, as a matter of fact we do need help. Dad can you keep an eye out in the hero association as well as the villains and make sure that no one disrupts the flow???"{Ken}

"yeah, I can do so… Some of the villains are starting to act and I think we need to move our residence towards Tokyo in the future."{Zach}

"Well, Ken kun ~~ Valerie is involved in this right???"{Anna}

"Well Mom Valerie is the healer of our team. We saved her from the Vampire realm and now she is staying here as your apprentice. Ken has quite an eye out for her."{Gil}

"UFFFFU (Chuckling) I think I need to give her some special training." says Anna while forming a scary smile. The rest of the people get the chills in the spine.

"Beside that we also need to keep tabs on the Greek and Asgardian gods.."{Ace}

"Well, I will try to contact them and make some connections…"{Gil}

"Dad, if we are going to move then why don't we move to Kuoh town. It has ample supernatural activity and also Issei is also living there."{Ken}

"Yeah, it will also be close to Musutafu city, close to UA High."{Ace}

"Okay, Kuoh town in Kanagawa prefecture.. Okay I will see."{Zach}

"Ken, transport us out it is dinner time."{Gil}

The family transports back to the house where the adults go to the kitchen to prepare dinner. The children talk further about their plans while Ken plants muffling rune around the house to prevent spies to hear anything.

Dinner is served and they go to their table to finish it. After some time the family gathers in the living room. Suddenly, Ken asks a question.

"Mom, do you know about the Holy Sword Project??"{Ken}

Anna gets stunned for a moment as the other people stare at Anna for a moment except her husband.

"Ken, I don't know where you gathered the information about it but if you want to weild the Excalibur then forget it." Syas Anna with a stern voice.

"Noo , you are misunderstanding… I want to ruin the project and help those children escape that Hell. The project is useless in my eyes."{Ken}

Anna stares at Ken with a cold expression and relaxes as Ken neither has the intent to harm the children or wield the sword.

" The Excalibur, was once wielded by the legendary Arthur Pendragon to slay a Dragon king along with his court wizard Merlin and sister Morgana Le Fay. The ch…"{Anna}

Gil interrupts Anna and speaks,

"No, the Gilgamesh of this universe gifted the Excalibur to Arthur as a reward for defeating him in chess and swordplay. Gilgamesh was impressed by Arthur and blessed him and his bloodline to have superior affinity with swords especially Excalibur and only allowed Arthur to use its full potential. Excalibur on full potential can kill mid-tier gods. Still, sufficient magic power and endurance is needed to wield it. The church must have hidden this information."{Gil}

(Surprised)"Well, I didn't know this .. Whatever, after Arthur died due to depression from Modred's death and betrayel, the sword was passed on in the pendragon family until a certain day when a demon stole it and tried to use it."{Anna}

"Demon???"{Ace}

"Well, the humanoid species with negative power and nasty overgrowths are called demons. They are quite abundant in China."{Ken}

"The demon was quite brave and had stolen the sword under our noses. However, when the tried to use it , the sword exploded killing the demon. The church then found the remains and tried to fix the sword. They were unable to do so and then the project began."{Anna}

"The project included orphans with sacred gears compatible with swords to merge their gears with the pieces of Excalibur . Then the sacred gear would be extracted and be put on another individual to combine the pieces. Extracting a sacred gear without consent can people can kill people. Lots of children died in the project and the church authorities became desperate and even kidnapped children. This is one of the reasons that I quitted church."{Anna}

"They can never repair it by your method… Only the God of Bible and I can repair it. In my opinion , it should stay destroyed. I do have another Excalibur with me which is perfectly compatible with Mom. If you need it , you only need to ask."{Gil}

"No dear, I am content with my current sword. Still I will think about that in the future."{Anna}

"So you are cooking something??"{Ace}[A/N: Readers , comment if you recognize the reference.]

Zach and Anna look towards Ken as well as the rest of the family. Ken taking the cue speaks,

"Okay, the plan will begin in a month or two after gathering the necessary information. The plan is simple; infiltrate the facility where the project is being held and blow up the facility while securing the victims. Let the perps escape as they are required for the future. The second is to infiltrate the research facility of Naberius Devil family in the underworld and free all the nekoshous and nekomatas."{Ken}

"What is the motive ??"{Zach}

"Securing allies for Yokai faction and make a positive reaction to them. We also need some dirt on those corrupt officials to let the Seraphs interfere."{Ken}

"Fair enough."{Ace}

"So basically we are creating a framework for the Gods-Angels-Devils Alliance, right??"{Gil}

"(Sigh)… Too much work to do…"{Ace}

"You are getting tired after this?? I think I have to increase your training."{Zach}

"HELL No."{Ace}

"Let's call Valerie -chan tomorrow for training."{Anna}

"(Yawning) I am getting sleepy.."{Gil}
