20 New Quest.

A peaceful month had passed after the destruction of Kuoh and reversal of time.

With Yuuki gone, Issei was finally having a quiet life where he spent most of his time by himself, focusing on his skills, improving his abilities, and learning more about the concept of Void.

Unfortunately, he couldn't convince his parents to skip school, as he had planned to do so after the time reversal. So, not only was he repeating the first year once again, he also had to make sure that nobody finds out about his newfound powers and identity at the school.

He trusted Sona to be a wise woman, but Issei couldn't bring himself to trust the other Devils around him.

Rias Gremory. Her brother had literally wiped out the town in rage after her death. So, until he had a way to deal with that level of power, Issei wasn't going to make a stupid move and reveal himself to be the Red Dragon Emperor.

"Heading back home?" Aika, the bespectacled, brunette girl who sat next to him in the class, questioned him once the last lecture of the day was over.

"Like usual." Issei shrugged.

"Really, you should join a Club or something." Aika replied as they packed their bags, "With that sexy body of yours, you can easily woo the girls of the swimming team and Kendo Club."

"Oh, and you know a lot about my body, do you?" Issei scoffed and pursed his lips.

"Hey, I'm just looking out for my broody neighbour, that's all." Aika stated with a mock smile and lightly slapped on his back, "I'll be going now, before I get late for my 'back to home' club."

Issei chuckled at her statement as they left the classroom together. While leaving, he gave a quick glance in Motohama and Matsuda's direction, who were currently begging to one of the girls in the Class.

Unlike last time, Issei avoided making any contact with the pervert Duo. He was just glad that there wasn't a Yuuki here to corrupt their innocence this time.

Issei saw Aika off till the school gates before the both of them went their separate ways, 'Mom asked me to get some Groceries.' He remembered and headed to the market to buy a few things on his way back home.

Although, while he was going through the fresh selection of vegetables, he got a new Quest Notification that stunned him for a few seconds.

'A Quest.'

'A Quest.' Ddraig repeated after him.

Throughout the past month, Issei had explained everything to his new partner, about how he was tricked by one of the Norse Gods to become a Pervert when he was a kid, how he was crippled by a reincarnator, and how he obtained the System and became strong enough to claim vengeance.

Issei quickly took all the stuff he needed and checked out of the shopping mall. Using the Total Concentration Breathing Technique, a technique that he had obtained as a reward from a early quest and mastered in the past month, Alexander moved in a swift motion as he headed straight towards his home.

Issei dropped the grocery bags into the kitchen before he went to his room and closed the door behind him.

A Quest was a serious issue, because Issei remembered very well what Isis had told him about the Gamers in other Universes. Yuuki was just the Gamer in his Universe, and 'The One' gave him the power of the System to vanquish him.

And since the Quest signified the fact that the System had found another Gamer, this was a serious matter for him.

Issei opened the Quest notification as he sat on his bed.

[Quest: Emiya, the antagonist.

Difficulty: S+

Objective: Participate the fifth Holy Grail War and defeat the Gamer reincarnated as Emiya Shirou.

Additional Objective: Emerge victorious in the Fifth Holy Grail War.

Rewards: Points, Levels, and more rewards based on performance and objectives completed.

Time Limit: One Month.

Failure: The Gamer would gain access to the Multi-verse through the Holy Grail and won't be found again.]

'Holy Grail?' Ddraig pointed out the term familiar to him from the Quest.

[For this Quest, you will be Granted the Elite Skill: All-Language Comprehension.]

'A new skill?' Issei was a little surprised at the free gift, 'Not to mention, its such a ridiculous ability. Does this mean I can understand and create Magical Runes and complex spells?'

He studied several tomes from his Grandpa's collection and borrowed some from Wukong as well. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to decipher all of the texts as they were written in ancient scripts like Sanskrit and old Chinese.

'It seems so.' Ddraig said, 'The Holy Grail I know is a Holy Longinus known as Sephiroth Graal in our world. It's has the power to govern over life, even the ability to bring a recently dead person back to life.'

'Isis, can you explain? I would like to know more about this Gamer as well.' Issei relied on his System for the information.

[Holy Grail War is a war that is held between 7 Masters for the Holy Grail. The Holy Grail selects the Seven Masters as the participants and allows them to summon a Servant in the form of Heroic Spirit.

These Heroic Spirits are Heroes of the Past who would follow your commands as long as you possess the Command Spells. Each Master is granted 3 Command spells, which they can use to give an absolute command to their servant.

The Servants are classified into Seven types, Lancer, Saber, Berserker, Archer, Rider, Caster, and the Assasin. Each having their extraordinary abilities and Noble Phantasms, which are similar to Relics, Artefacts, or Sacred Gears in your world.

As for the rules of the Holy Grail War, you'll have to obtain that information from the Church after qualifying as a Master.]

'And the Gamer?' Issei raised an eyebrow, pressing the important matter.

He wanted to know who he was dealing with and possibly know what were this person's goals. If Shirou was anything like Yuuki, Issei won't be hesitating a second to kill him at the first opportunity.

[Shirou Emiya, also known as Jacob Fernandes in his previous life, was a Factory worker who was responsible for causing a huge incident at the factory where hundreds of people lost their lives. Jacob survived the incident, but later he turned into a psychopath who carelessly did whatever that pleased him, whether it be killing the neighbour's pet or sexually assaulting school kids.]

Issei had a calm expression with a hollow look in his eyes, 'Why is it that all the Gamers are a fucking bunch of retarded, child molesting psychopaths? Who the hell is reincarnating them and granting them these powers?'

[The Primordials.]

Issei already knew the answer to why the One wasn't able to stop the Primordials, so he didn't bother asking the same question again.

In the middle of his thoughts, he also noticed that he had become quite fluent in English and French, which he had learnt a little from the extra curricular classes in the school.

'I guess the new Skill is already showing effect.' Issei thought and went to his laptop to test his new skill.

Issei started with common languages spoken around the world and was easily able to read them and even form complex sentences without any practice. Then, he moved to complex languages like Sanskrit and Latin, which he surprisingly understood perfectly despite the lack of proper content on the Internet.

'I guess there's a reason why this Skill was titled as Elite.' Issei nodded with a pleased smile, 'I'm pretty sure I should be able to read the Tomes with the ancient scrips now.'

'Fine, let's test that skill of yours further.' Ddraig stated, but in a different language which was unknown to Issei, 'Can you understand me, you dumbass? Hello, Heavenly Red Dragon Emperor speaking?'

'Yeah, I can understand you, so stop it.' Issei sighed at the Dragon's antics, 'And what language was that, by the way.'

'Dragon-kin tongue.' Ddraig answered, 'This means you should be able to cast Draconic Runes once I teach them to you.'

'Sounds awesome!' Issei cheered with an excited smile, 'Isis, can you suggest me something from the shop that can help me improve my sword skills? I think I have gathered quite a lot of System Points.'

'I would've already bought the second one if knew it was so cheap.' Issei replied with a deadpan, 'Wouldn't have my ass handed in that stupid Dojo for the past month.'

[It's cheap because you already possess the Skill: Elite Kenjutsu Practicioner.]

'I guess that makes sense.' He shrugged.

Issei already knew the Water Breathing Technique and had mastered all the 11 forms of its style. Though, he was yet to implement even a single form while wielding Kantusa in a fight.

His Grandpa was a hand to hand combat martial artist, so fighting him with a Sword was unfair. And he only used the practice swords against his new Sensei at the Dojo, who had been teaching him Kenjutsu for the past month.

If not for his Skill Observe, Issei would've never known that the Sensei he randomly stumbled upon was a beast in human skin, just like his Grandpa.

'It was a learning experience.' Ddraig teased, 'At least you won't have your ass handed to you by a pretend Swordsman.'

'Yeah, right.' Issei pursed his lips with a blank expression, remembering his head getting bonked all the time in his spar against the violent master of the Dojo.

[Would you like to make the purchase?]

'Yes, please.' Issei nodded.

Just a second later, he found a new item in his inventory and a momentary influx of the Yoruichi Tsugikuni's experience in his head. He took out the scroll from his inventory and the moment he opened it, the scroll illuminated in a white light and disappeared from his hands.

Issei experienced the information of the scroll in his head while standing on his spot for the next few minutes. Automatically, there was a slight change in his breathing pattern as he breathed in a deep air and filled his lungs to thier limits. He felt fire running through his viens as he tried the Sun Breathing technique for the first time. .

"How long would I be gone for, Isis?" Issei came to the main topic after adjusting to the Sun Breathing Technique.

[Caculating... There is a time dilation between the two worlds, which means your one month spent in your Quest World is equivalent to 3 days and 4 hours in your current world.]

'Might as well meet Grandpa before I leave.' He thought with a shrug.

Issei changed his uniform into a regular set of clothes and used Void Step, a Spatial travel technique he had learnt in the past month, to teleport to his Grandpa's house on the Yokai village's mountain peak.

Issei knew the old man had started training once again after he told him about everything that happened in the past. He couldn't hide things from his Grandpa, after all, he was the one who had supported him the most in his fight against Yuuki.

The last thing Issei had expected were sonic booms going off at the Training grounds when he teleported there. Two individuals were clashing their fists in an intense spar, using various forms of martial arts and Touki techniques.

One of them was surely his Grandpa, but the other was someone he had wanted to meet for a long time.

"Vali?" Issei muttered with a smile, "Hey, Vali!" He interrupted their fight by shouting at one of them.

Jiren stopped the fight when he heard his Grandson's voice and felt his presence, 'Damn, the Kid is stronger than before.' He thought as he sensed the monstrous aura of his pure and innocent Grandson.

"Is he?" Vali, who was standing across Jiren in his Balance Breaker, glanced at the tall, chiseled Brunette and looked back at his opponent for a confirmation.

"The Red Dragon Emperor." Jiren crossed his arms as he answered with a proud smile.

With an revitalised motivation and tremendous power invoking in his body, Vali almost disappeared from his spot as he charged at the person who had interrupted thier fight.

'Wait a second.' Issei's smile dropped a little when he saw Vali ferociously charging towards him, 'Is he that happy to see me?'

'I don't think so.' Ddraig laughed, 'You better be prepared, because I don't think he's holding back on this one.'

A loud boom occurred on the spot Vali crashed into him. The dust revealed a massive crack on the mountain with the two Dragon Emperors going against each other like mad bulls.

"Hyoudo." Vali called out with a smirk.

Issei's eyes went wide in surprise when Vali called out his name, "You know?"

[Divide!] [Divide!] [Divide!]

"Hey, Hey!" Issei wanted to complain about him cheating, but instead he was body slammed into the ground by Vali's next move.

"You fucking asshole." Issei grumbled as he looked up at Vali while laying on the ground.

Vali deactivated his Balance Breaker and pulled him up by extending his right hand to Issei, "You deserved that."

"But.. How?" Issei asked with a flabbergasted expression and looked at his Grandpa.

Jiren raised up his hands in mock surrender, "Don't look at me, I wasn't the one who snitched on your time travel bullshit."

"Albion." Ddraig called out by manifesting himself on Issei's left hand, "Do you remember?"

"We do." Albion answered.

"Wow, that's.." Issei was truly speechless and turned to face Vali with an irritated expression, "Why didn't you come to me if you knew?!"

"Because unlike you, I was returned to my younger self when you reversed the Time!" Vali grumbled by accusingly pointing his index on Issei's chest, "I've been training for the past month to catch up to my original strength that I had before!"

"Oh, yeah, right." Issei shamefully scratched his cheek "But still, how?"

"That's because Ddraig and I are Twins." Albion answered, "Our Souls are connected, which applies to Vali as he is my Host. Hence, when you reversed the Timeline, you brought us back to life from that exact moment we died and transferred our minds into our younger selves."

"Oh." Issei nodded in acknowledgement to the explanation, "That makes more sense."

"Anyways, how come you're here all of a sudden?" Jiren asked by changing topic, "Any problem?" Issei usually only visited him on the weekends if he was in a mood to spar or hangout with his Grandpa.

"I'll be going away for a few days." Issei replied, "A important matter has come up."

"Going where?" Both Vali and Jiren questioned with a frown, "What important matter?"

"To another world." Issei answered with a sheepish smile.
