CHAPTER 21 – MEETING WITH THE EXORCISTS

Xenovia was pressing her sword against my neck but i felt no fear.

"Even if you are exorcists, are you going to kill me just because I am a devil, don't you see it as irrational and completely illogical?"

"No, the devils need to be purged" – Irina denied.

"I see, so according to you, devils are evil and need to be judged for the mere fact of being a devil, am I wrong?" – I said.

"We have nothing to talk about with a devil" – said Xenovia contemptuously.

"Then let me ask you something, are all devils bad and are all humans good people?"

They both frowned.

"No, it is true that there are bad humans too but all devils are still evil" - Irina said.

"Since there are evil humans, why don't you purge them too?" – I asked.

"It is by order of the Lord" – said Xenovia.

"I see, it is the god of the Bible, but you must know that there are also good and bad demons, not all demons are bad just as all humans are not good, if you think like that it is because you do not know how this world works and are only blinded by their beliefs" – I said frowning.

"Do you dare to question our lord?" – Xenovia asked angrily.

"Do you imply that we shouldn't exorcise devils?" asked Irina.

"No, what I am saying is that you should exorcise those who deserve it, not all equally, please think in my words" - I said.

Xenovia and Irina looked at each other and then put away their swords.

"At this moment we will believe you, later we will see with our own eyes if what you say is true and all devils are not evil" - said Xenovia.

This is strange, I'm sure in the original story they didn't stop believing that demons were bad until after the fight against Kokabiel and even Irina didn't believe much in her childhood friend, why do they accept me like this?

"You can leave, try to look for those fragments if you want, but you will not give me orders, if i want to look for them too, we will" – said Rias.

"Kazuya, where did you find them?" – asked Asia.

"They were walking and because they were hungry and thirsty I fed them" - I said with a shrug.

Asia couldn't believe it, her man was so kind that he even fed the hungry even if he doesn't know them, could there be a more perfect husband?

But Xenovia and Irina realized that someone had approached me and when they looked at her they recognized her face immediately.

"You are Asia Argento, the traitor, stay away from Kazuya right now!" – said Xenovia angrily.

Then both girls got between me and Asia.

"I'm no a traitor, they expelled me!" - she defended herself.

"And then you became a demon? there is no greater betrayal than that and with the authority that has been granted to us we will judge you!" – said Xenovia.

"I'm sorry but we can't let a traitor loose" - Irina said.

Then they both raised their swords, but before they could do anything, I stood in front of her and grabbed both swords with my hands.

"What do you do Kazuya, why do you protect the traitor?" – asked Irina.

"Asia is no traitor and I would appreciate it if you would stop pointing your swords to my girlfriend" – I said seriously.

No one can hurt my family.

"But we can't do that Kazuya, she has betrayed our lord by joining the devils!" – said Xenovia.

"Have you forgotten our previous conversation?" – I asked seriously.
