"We just woke up. I was a bit surprised when I couldn't find Issei in bed, so I assumed something was happening when I heard him talking in the living room," Xenovia explained, her voice tinged with curiosity.

Ravel blushed at the implications and couldn't help but ask, "W-wait... you two slept with him?"

Xenovia responded nonchalantly, not realizing the implications of her words, "Yes, we did."

Irina's embarrassment was evident as she quickly clarified, "It's not what you think. We just felt safer sleeping next to Issei."

Ravel's face turned even redder as she struggled to find the right words. "O-oh..."

Riser, ever the observant one, interjected with a playful comment, "So these are your friends? I can see why Diodora wanted them now. They're quite attractive."

Karlamine's curiosity sparked, and she directed her gaze at Xenovia. "You two are both skilled swordswomen?"

Xenovia nodded, a hint of pride in her voice. "Yeah, we're exorcists, but we consider ourselves more like templars."

Impressed by the swords they wielded, Karlamine expressed her admiration. "Impressive weapons... I would love the opportunity to spar with you. I always appreciate encountering fellow warriors who wield swords."

Ravel couldn't help but scoff at the idea. "Oh no, please don't encourage her obsession with swords..."

Xenovia tilted her head, considering the proposition. "I don't mind, as long as Issei is okay with it."

Karlamine turned to Issei, her request sincere. "Issei-sama, would it be possible for our peerage to train with you and your friends?"

Riser, taken aback by Karlamine's bold request, glanced at Issei, awaiting his response. Issei pondered the proposal for a moment before addressing Riser, "That's fine with me, I suppose. I'll be moving to a larger house soon, so you guys are welcome to visit. Maybe I can even impart some knowledge to Riser as well."

Riser appeared genuinely surprised by Issei's willingness. "You would be willing to do that?"

Issei shrugged, a casual smile on his face. "Sure, why not? Just give me a heads-up before you come over. I value my privacy, you know."

Curious about the logistics, Riser inquired further. "How should I inform you then?"

"Just send me a text or something. You have a phone, right?" Issei suggested.

Riser shook his head, a sheepish expression crossing his face. "Actually, I don't. But my sister Ravel does."

Issei nodded in understanding. "Alright, then I'll get her number from you," he agreed, turning his attention to Ravel.

Ravel found herself flustered by the sudden attention and stammered, "Nii-sama! I... I've never given my number to a boy before."

Teasingly, Issei couldn't resist a playful jab. "Do you need parental permission for that?"

"N-no! Our parents don't actually know that we came here. Technically, we're not allowed to interact with you," Ravel admitted nervously.

Playfully grinning, Issei commented, "A rulebreaker, huh? It's always the ones you least expect..."

Ravel shyly reached out her hand, mustering her courage. "Give me your phone... I'll put my number in."

"Okay, go ahead," Issei agreed, handing her his phone.

Efficiently, Ravel sent a message to her own number from Issei's phone and saved her contact information. She promptly returned the phone to him, her cheeks slightly flushed. "There... just don't send me any weird pictures, got it?"

Issei chuckled and nodded. "Got it, Ravel. I'll make sure to keep it appropriate."

Interrupting the conversation, Xenovia suddenly asked, "Issei, are we still going to parent-teacher night later?"

Irina couldn't help but notice the sudden interest and curiosity that gripped everyone in the room as their gazes shifted towards Issei. Issei let out a sigh inwardly, realizing the timing couldn't have been worse. 'Why does Xenovia always have to bring up these things at the most inconvenient moments?'

Breaking the silence, Issei confirmed, "Yes, we're still planning on going to the parent-teacher night."

Riser, sensing an opportunity, chimed in, "Would you mind if we joined you? I'd like to have a conversation with Rias and Lucifer-sama. I assume they'll be attending as well, right?"

Issei shrugged, his expression indifferent. "Sure, if you want to. Either way, I'll be there."

An inner monologue ran through Issei's mind, 'Great... Now all of these guys are going too? This is going to be awkward enough with Rias and Sona's families present. What will they think if they see me associating with Riser? Ah, whatever... At this point, who cares? At least Ravel will be there to make it enjoyable.'

Before the situation could become even more uncomfortable, Issei sighed, bringing the conversation to a close. "Well, thanks for coming by and apologizing, guys. I'll see you all later tonight, I suppose."

Silently and one by one, the devils departed from Issei's house. Issei breathed a sigh of relief, grateful that Raynare and Kalawarner didn't show up that day, as the awkwardness would have been unbearable.

Once they were gone, Issei finally let his guard down. Irina approached him, her gaze filled with curiosity. "What was that all about? They actually came here to apologize to you?"

Issei nodded, acknowledging the unusual turn of events. "Yeah, it was weird, but I appreciate the effort, I guess."

Xenovia shook her head, a hint of amusement in her voice. "I'm sure many more devils will be humbling themselves after witnessing your fight against a Maou and surviving."

Issei brushed it off casually. "It's whatever," he said, checking the time.

A moment later, he turned towards Xenovia and Irina with a more serious tone. "Well, we have some time to kill before parent-teacher night. You girls can go do your own thing for a while. I'll be at the other house for a few hours."

Curiosity sparked in Irina's eyes as she asked, "What are you going over there for?"

Issei replied, a mysterious smile playing on his lips, "Nothing too serious... Just a side project of mine. I won't be far, so don't worry about anyone coming after you, alright?"

Issei's thoughts raced as he contemplated his plans. 'Today, I'll be setting up defense wards, alarms, tracking systems, and a stable portal. I want to ensure the security of the neighborhood for when Mom and Dad come home. Tonight is going to be incredibly strange,' he mused, shaking his head.
