67 Chapter [67]

In his thoughts, Riser seethed with anger and concern. It was the first time an enemy had shown such strength. Vali, with his Juggernaut Drive, displayed a determination and power that Riser hadn't expected to encounter. The blue flames of the Blue Phoenix that surrounded him before now seemed insignificant in the face of the imposing white dragon before him.

"How can he be so powerful?" Riser murmured to himself, his voice filled with disbelief. He knew he couldn't underestimate Vali, but still, the magnitude of his opponent's power left him unsettled.

Sona watched with apprehension as Riser fought against Vali, her mind spinning with worry for her husband's well-being. She knew Riser was powerful, but Vali's abilities were impressive, and she feared for the outcome of the battle.

As Riser struggled, Sona felt a gentle hand rest on her shoulder. She turned to see Tsubaki beside her, his calm gaze conveying a sense of comfort amidst the turmoil of battle.

"Everything will be fine, kaichou," Tsubaki said softly, his voice filled with confidence. "Riser is strong and determined. He will overcome this."

Sona nodded, trying to find comfort in Tsubaki's reassuring words. She wanted to believe that everything would turn out well, but the tension in the air made her nervous.

Vali flew towards the crater, his imposing white dragon form cutting through the skies with grace and power. His piercing eyes locked onto Riser's figure, who struggled to rise from the ground after the overwhelming impact. The blue flames of the Blue Phoenix still danced around him, but they seemed weakened in the presence of the dragon's imposing figure.

"You won't escape, Riser," proclaimed Vali, his voice echoing with authority. His muscles tensed as he prepared to deliver the final blow against his fallen opponent.

Meanwhile, inside the crater, Riser stared at Vali with eyes full of fire, his body tense and ready for the unfolding confrontation.

"You underestimated my power, Vali," growled Riser, his voice filled with challenge. His fists clenched with determination as he prepared to face his adversary.

Vali descended forcefully, his sharp claws aiming directly at Riser. He didn't hesitate as he prepared to deliver the final blow against his fallen opponent.

At the last moment, Riser agilely dodged, his speed surprising even Vali. With a quick movement, he countered, unleashing a burst of blue flames towards Vali.

The white dragon gracefully dodged, his agility impressive as he avoided Riser's attack. He retaliated with a deafening roar, releasing a burst of energy that shook the surrounding terrain.

Riser soared into the sky, his burning determination fueling every move as he concentrated his power to conjure a ball of blue and yellow fire. His eyes glowed with intensity, fixed on the white dragon waiting below, watching him with curiosity.

Meanwhile, Vali remained on the ground, his posture firm and confident as he closely watched Riser's movements. He could feel the energy building up, the powerful fireball taking shape as Riser channeled his power into it. Vali knew that Riser was preparing a formidable attack, and he was ready to face it head-on.

"Riser is gathering impressive power," said Albion, his voice echoing in Vali's mind.

Vali nodded imperceptibly, his eyes fixed on the sky as he watched Riser prepare his attack. He could feel the energy accumulating, a sense of anticipation hanging in the air.

"It will be funny to see his face after that attack halves and mine increases," Vali muttered to himself, a smug smile playing on his lips. He was confident in his own strength, knowing he could face any challenge Riser threw his way.

Serefall frowned as she observed Azazel's apparent calmness in the face of the imminent battle between Riser and Vali. She could feel the massive amount of power Riser's attack was gathering, and it made her uneasy. Why wasn't Azazel more worried? Unbeknownst to Serefall, Azazel had a reason for his apparent tranquility. He knew perfectly well the powers of the Divine Division and knew that, impressive as Riser's attack was, it would mean nothing when halved.

"Aren't you worried about Vali?" Serefall asked, her voice filled with perplexity at Azazel's apparent calmness.

Azazel looked at Serefall with serenity, his expression unwavering. "No, Riser's power is impressive, but it's not enough to concern Vali."

Riser was completely focused on his task, his hands trembling slightly with the intensity of the power he was about to unleash. He knew he couldn't falter, as this attack would determine the course of the battle.

As he gathered his energies, Vali watched calmly, his expression serene hiding the anticipation he felt.

Riser finally finished conjuring the fireball, a pulsating and bright energy sphere ready to be launched against his opponent. With a quick and decisive gesture, he hurled the attack towards Vali, his face contorted in a expression of concentration and fury.

Vali reached out calmly, his confidence unshaken as he prepared to receive the attack head-on. He could feel the power of the fireball approaching, but he didn't feel fear. Instead, he felt a sense of exhilaration, knowing that soon he would have the chance to show his true strength.

Before the fireball could hit him, something extraordinary happened. The power of the sphere began to rapidly diminish, as if it were being drained of its essence. Riser watched with a feigned expression of horror as his attack lost half of its strength in a matter of seconds.

Vali smiled smugly, his confidence growing as he felt his own power increase exponentially. He reached out arrogantly, challenging Riser to continue the attack.

Before the fireball could hit Vali, Riser snapped his fingers and the fireball exploded. The brightness of the explosion was so intense that it turned night into day. Vali closed his eyes with the flash.

"Damn, I can't see anything," Vali grumbled, rubbing his eyes as he tried to recover from the sudden explosion.

While everyone present in the fight covered their eyes with their hands, Michael, Sirzechs, and Serefall stood firm, watching the battle closely.

"Soru," said Riser, his voice echoing with determination. In the blink of an eye, he appeared behind Vali, his presence suddenly close and threatening.

Riser retrieved Ascalon from the inventory, his expression serious as he prepared to deliver a decisive blow against his opponent.

Vali barely had time to react when Riser struck a powerful blow towards his neck, using the legendary sword.

+1500 luck points for defeating Vali Lucifer.
