23 Chapter 22
Zadkiel's eyes widened when he heard that along with the rest of the archangels. But they decided to stay silent at the moment whereas the three girls looked panicked at his words.
"F-Father. We're sorry, we were tricked. We will make sure to not repeat the same mistake again." Azazil said to him with a pleading tone.
"Yes Father, please give us a chance." Azariel said to him.
Lilith meanwhile is quite scared as she just looks at God while he is gazing down at them. He raised his hand and stopped Azazil and Azariel from saying further words before putting his hand down.
"I had heard you talk the first time and I know that you were lied to and manipulated by Helel. However, that does not mean I can overlook what you have done." God said to them.
The three girls had their heads down at his words while Zadkiel grew worried and he glanced at God. God felt his gaze and glanced at Zadkiel for a short moment before looking at the girls.
"That being said, your punishment shall not be the same as the ones I'm about to give to the three archangels." God said as he looked at the male.
The girls gained a hopeful look on their faces at his words while Zadkiel is curious about what the punishment is and hoped that the girls will be fine.
'If it is too severe then I should plead with Father to decrease it's severity.' Zadkiel thought to himself as he looked at God.
"First I will announce the punishment that will be laid upon Helel, Yophiel and Asmodai. You will be stripped of your powers as an angel and be turned from a being of light to one of darkness. And you three are forbidden from entering Heaven from this moment forth." God proclaimed for all to hear.
The angels gasped at his words as to them being out of Heaven was something that they would never think in their lives. After all, Heaven is Paradise itself and a very beautiful place and to an Angel, not entering Heaven is tantamount to being the greatest punishment ever.
But the three men didn't seem to care that much. Helel didn't want to stay in the place where God rules. Yophiel wanted to explore the world and learn more knowledge about other beings but he can't do that in Heaven without breaking it's laws so he is fine with it. Asmodai also wants to explore the world but to find new pleasures that he can enjoy and more women.
"As you wish Father." Yophiel said to him.
"I have no plans on staying in the same world as you." Helel said with a glare.
"I have no problems with you decision." Asmodai said with a smile.
Their words caused the angels to be surprised as they didn't expect to hear these words from them. The three accused girls meanwhile were waiting anxiously as they knew that their turn is next.
"Azazil and Azariel, you two shall also have the same punishment as them, however as you two were deceived by their words you will be able to enter Heaven as long as an you have permission from me or the Archangels." God said to them.
The girls eyes widened when they heard that but sighed a bit in relief when they heard that. While they are sad that they will become beings of darkness they would at least be able to meet with Zadkiel.
'At least we aren't forbidden from entering Heaven.' Azazil thought to herself.
'I will be able to see Big brother. That's a relief.' Azariel thought to herself in relief.
'Oh good, at least they will be able to enter here.' Gabriel thought to herself in relief.
Zadkiel sighed a bit as this meant that the two can meet with him and he can meet them as well. If that's the case then he can also educate them and protect them from being fully influenced by Helel.
'Now Lilith's punishment is the only one left.' Zadkiel thought to himself as he looked at her.
Lilith is nervous but seeing that Azazil and Azariel were given lighter punishments she hoped that she will be given one as well. God looked at her as she tensed under his gaze as the place is silent as they waited for God's verdict.
"Lilith, you are the youngest of the people gathered here and as such you do not have much knowledge and aren't as experienced as the other angels, as such your punishment shall be reduced in magnitude." God said to her.
Lilith has a relieved face at his words while Zadkiel let out a breath of relief at his words along with Gabriel. Then they turned to look at God who is about to tell her punishment.
"Lilith, for your crimes, you will become the same being as the other five accused, however as you are still young and naive you shall not be forbidden from Heaven and instead be under Zadkiel." God said to her.
"Under big brother? What do you mean?" Lilith asked confused along with the other angels.
"What I mean is that from now on, Zadkiel will have control over you." God said surprising the others.
"Wait Father, control over her? She is to become my subordinate." Zadkiel said to him surprised.
"It is more than that, you will have complete and total power over her. She will have to heed your words without complaint and you will possess the power to command her and make her act as you see fit." God said to him seriously.
Zadkiel's eyes widened at his words along with the rest of the angel's along with Adam and Lilith.
'Isn't that the same as saying that she is my property or slave?' Zadkiel thought to himself in shock.
Lilith was shocked at his words as to her understanding it meant that she would now be with Zadkiel and she will have to follow his words without any complaint.
'T-That's exactly what I want. I wanted to be with my big brother for the rest of my life.' Lilith thought to herself in shock.
She looked at God who is staring impassively at her as she nodded her head meekly. God looked at her before laying his eyes on Azazil and Azariel and looking at Zadkiel for a few moments.
"I have also decided to place Azazil and Azariel under Zadkiel as well." God said catching the others off guard.
"Why them Father?" Raguel asked confused.
"Since the two of them will be sent out of Heaven along with Helel, Yophiel and Asmodai there is a chance that they might be influenced by them. As such it is a precaution in case they were to attack again. And considering that he is their teacher he is the perfect candidate for it. Do you two have any objections?" God said before turning to the two women.
"None Father." The two said in unison.
'I have no problem with this.' Azazil thought to herself as she is a bit happy about the arrangement.
'If it means being under big brother's commands then I have no objections.' Azariel thought to herself happily.
Zadkiel sweat drops at their answer as he stayed silent.
'Well, I certainly didn't expect that.' Zadkiel thought to himself.
'Well, at least Lilith and the other two will be happy.' Adam thought to himself.
'They seem to like it. Father really does know what is best for us.' Gabriel thought to herself with a smile as she is glad that the girls aren't given that strict punishments.
'Well, Father knows best.' Michael thought to himself with a smile.
"And now it is time for me to enact your punishments." God said in his commanding tone as his eyes shined.
The angel's tensed when they saw it along with the accused. God raised his right hand as it glowed and then magic circles appeared under the six of them before they were covered in bright light. The men screamed in pain, the girls also screamed a bit in pain but not to the extent the males were.
Zadkiel, Gabriel, Michael, Azazel, and more of the empathetic angels grew worried for the girls. In a few seconds the light died down and the angels were able to see the result of what God did.
The six of them have changed by the time the light died down. For example, the archangels have lost their 6 pairs of wings and they were now 6 pairs of bat wings instead.
Helel now has silver hair and blue eyes, Asmodai has black hair and pointed ears, Beelzebub has brown hair and black eyes. All three of them were kneeling at their places as they panted after going through the process.
As for the girls, Azazil and Azariel didn't change much except for having bat wings as they panted a bit, but not to the extent of the other three.
The one who was most changed is Lilith as her hair has become pure white, her skin pink in colour along with pink eyes, pointed ears, two large black horns on both sides of her head and a large black dragonic tail. She is in a much better state than the other five as she is standing at her place. (A/N: She looks like Lilith from Guardian Tales. I liked the design so I went with it.)
The angels were taken aback by Lilith's change in appearance. God also blinked his eyes at the change.
'I didn't expect that. Maybe I shouldn't have stopped looking into the future. Then again, knowing what happens in the future takes the surprise away from the happenings of the world.' God thought to himself as he kept a straight face.
The archangels at getting their bearings looked at each other and were surprised at their transformation as the girls looked at their new wings in surprise.
"Wh-What happened to my body?" Lilith asked herself surprised.
"Do not be surprised. As I had told you you have been changed into a being of darkness. From this moment forth, all six of you are demons, beings of darkness." God said to them calmly.
"Beings of darkness, that would mean we are the complete antithesis of you." Helel said as his eyes widened.
The angels talked amongst themselves when they heard it but God shut them up by raising his hand.
"Indeed, and now I shall be giving you new names. As you are now demos, your angelic names shall no longer be used to address you." God said to them seriously.
"Ha! At least now you're doing something actually worthwhile." Helel said with a scoff.
'He really needs to keep his pride in check.' Asbeel thought to herself.
That thought was shared among many of the archangels who were displeased with his behaviour.
"Um, what are our names Father?" Azazil asked him.
"It is as such. Helel, your name will now be Lucifer, Yophiel, your name shall now be Beelzebub, Asmodai your name shall be—" God said as he listed the names.
"Asmodeus!" Asmodai said with a smile.
This caused the angels to blink at his words as he has just interrupted God.
"I would like to go by the name of Asmodeus, it is different from my Angelic name so it should not be a problem." Asmodai said with a smile.
"Well, that is true in a sense. Alright, if that is what you wish to call yourself then I won't oppose it. Consider it a final gift from me." God said to him.
"Thank you." Asmodai, now Asmodeus said with a smile.
"Well, he was always the most free spirited one." Raphael said as he blinked.
"I'm actually surprised that Father hasn't blasted him away." Shemhazai said with a sweat drop.
"Well, he is lucky I guess." Zadkiel said in response as Gabriel nodded to his words.
"Azazil, your name shall now be Iblis, and finally Azariel, you will now be called as Livyatan." God said to them.
"As you command Father." The now newly named Iblis and Livyatan said as they bowed to him.
"Good. Then it is time that all of you except Lilith be sent out of Heaven and into Hell." God said to them.
"Hell?" Iblis asked confused.
"It is a new world that I created. That shall be your home from now on. How it will look will depend on you." God said to them.
"Then I will most likely enjoy modifying the terrain of that place." Beelzebub said with a smile.
"Do as you see fit with that world, and before I forget. Iblis and Livyatan can only enter Heaven seven days after this. So if any of you wish to talk with them or give them any advice should do now." God said as he looked at the Archangels, more specifically at Zadkiel.
"Thank you Father." Gabriel said with a smile at his words.
"It is not a problem Gabriel, talk with your siblings before they are sent away from here." God said to her with a smile.
Gabriel nodded to him happily before she stood up and opened her wings with Zadkiel following as they flew to the girls as God watched with a smile.
'Things will become more interesting in the future.' God thought to himself with a smile as a few archangels also stood up to talk with the two demons.
