20 Chapter 19
Zadkiel immediately shot towards Helel with his spear made of salt and holy energy as the latter also shot towards him. They met and locked blades with eachother as a powerful shockwave was felt from the impact from their attacks.
Zadkiel looked at his spears and they were starting to slowly crack from the power of the Primordial swords. Something which Lucifer also noticed as he smirked at the angel. Zadkiel however created chains of salt which attacked Helel.
Alas, they were shot down by lightning and wind that came from the swords that Yophiel and Asmodai were wielding. The Thundering Sword and Tempestual Sword respectively.
But that was all the time it took for the other archangel's who were on the side of God to go and attack the angels allied with Lucifer along with the rest of God's angels. They made various weapons, mostly spears as they shot at the traitors of Heaven.
Azazil, Azariel and Lilith were slack jawed when they saw Helel attack Zadkiel with the weapons wielding the Primordial elements.
"W-Why is big brother Helel fighting against big brother Zadkiel? Wasn't the reason he started the war because he wanted to help him?" Lilith said confused.
"No, from the very beginning the only thing Helel wanted was to overthrow Father. Brother Zadkiel just became an excuse for him to get your aid." Adam said to her question.
"But why? Big brother Helel had always been kind to all of us?" Azazil said confused.
"To be fair, big brother Zadkiel had been suspicious of Helel for sometime now. And now he has shown his true colours." Adam said to her.
"He-He tricked us using big brothers name!" Azariel said shocked.
"Yes, and I wouldn't have noticed if not for brother Zadkiel who told me about what he thought of him." Adam admitted to them.
After all, Helel is a top notch actor as he is able to act all kind and happy in front of others. The only reason Adam was able to discern the angel's true nature was because Zadkiel had talked to him which caused him to suspect the angel.
"Big brother has been suspecting him for a while?" Lilith asked surprised.
"Yes, big brother had noticed his behaviour and had warned me ahead of time. It seems that Helel was envious of our brother and Father." Adam said to them.
"But why? We were a perfect family and all of us has had a fulfilling life. Why would big brother Helel be envious of Big brother Zadkiel and Father?" Azazil asked as she saw the angels clash with eachother.
"I think it was because brother Zadkiel had become a great Angel in the short time that he was here or that is what I know. Brother said that he also hates me and Lilith." Adam said to them.
"Why?" Lilith asked confused.
A few moments ago she was fighting for Helel to help Zadkiel and now she learns that the brother that has always been kind to her hated her.
"Because he considers us human's as inferior to him and thinks that an angel of his strength shouldn't have bowed down to him. It hurt his Pride when he bowed down to us in Father's will." Adam said to them.
The three girls were dumbfounded when they heard that. Helel, the Angel known as the Prince of Heaven and said to be the most beautiful of them all has betrayed them and their Father due to his Pride. They were surprised that none in Heaven was able to discern his true intentions.
"We-We have to help big brother Zadkiel!" Azazil said as she got her bearings.
"You're right. We can't let our mistake bring more trouble for brother." Azariel said agreeing with her.
"I'll also help." Lilith said only for her arm to be held by Adam.
"No you're not. Brother has asked me to take care of you and as such I will not allow you to join the battle." Adam said to her sternly.
"But I can't just leave big brother to fight!" Lilith shouted at him.
"My words are final Lilith. Remember, this is what big brother wanted, or do you want to disobey him?" Adam asked her.
This caused Lilith to shut her mouth as she looked down. Adam saw that she has become docile so he looked at the two angels and signalled them to go ahead. They didn't waste anytime as they immediately shot from their position towards the battlefield.
As they were flying to catch up Zadkiel has been fighting against Helel as he had also created various clones to fight alongside him which was giving the first archangel trouble. But he is using the two swords to his advantage as he created something similar of a barrier using the two elements.
Zadkiel kept on attacking relentlessly as he started to break the armor which caused Helel to click his tongue in annoyance. The rest of the angels were also fighting against eachother with the angels on the side of Lucifer being armed with more powerfull weapons which is a problem for the angels to God.
Zadkiel then sensed Azazil and Azariel coming to his location which caused a small smile to appear on his face. He then immediately moved away from Helel which surprised the First Archangel. Only for his eyes to widen when he felt a pair of fists hit his barrier courtesy of Azazil and Azariel.
They moved before Zadkiel slashed with his spears as the barrier broke apart. Helel started to create another barrier only for them to attack him as he was starting to get pushed back from their combo attacks. Azazil and Azariel may not be as strong as Zadkiel but combined they have a considerable amount of power.
Zadkiel then made chains appear which wrapped the barrier that Helel was making. He then stopped time in the area around the archangel before he created many powerful spears of light before he made the chains disappear before he resumed the time again.
"Gaaaah!" Helel screamed as his barrier was torn apart and his body was pierced by the spears and exploded.
This caught the attention of the angels but the archangel got more angry as he made a powerful aura around him which put great pressure around him which caused many angels to faint and others to move away. Azazil and Azariel were also affected but Zadkiel moved them away from the area as he released his own aura.
Both of their aura's clashed as the other angels marvelled at their power. Helel also has the two Primordial Weapons which were a bit of a hindrance to Zadkiel due to their powers which were also booster by God. He then dispersed the salt spears surprising the others.
Then two new weapons, swords, started to form in both of his hands which caused Helel to narrow his eyes as he felt the power emanating from it. He immediately shot towards him with his swords and brought his sword down. However chains appeared and bound Helel as Zadkiel got more time.
Helel the cut the chains but then was met with a kick to his chest courtesy of Zadkiel which sent the angel backwards from the force as he gasped from the sensation. He recovered quickly and glared at Zadkiel as he got ready to attack again only for him to stop when he felt the power of his two new swords.
He and every other angel, including God were watching him as his new weapons had been forged. Their eyes widened when they felt the energy emanating from the two weapons.
Both of them were pure white swords with a pristine and Divine look as it glowed with power and has an aura appropriate to it. Even though they were temporary weapons they held great power to them which is felt by the angels. Helel's eyes widened when he felt the aura of the sword along with the other archangels.
"That's... the aura of a Primordial element!" Helel shouted shocked.
He couldn't believe that Zadkiel actually made not one but two swords made of Primordial element. He wasn't the only one as the other angels were also thinking the same. God meanwhile has a smile on his face when he saw it.
"That's right. These two swords..." Zadkiel said as he raised the swords and closed his eyes.
He then opened them as a powerful aura come from him which was suffocating to the enemy Angel's as they felt a weight over them from his power. The other archangel's were also stupefied at his strength.
And as if that weren't enough the energy of the swords also merged with his aura as it made it more powerful. Zadkiel glared at Helel as he unconsciously moved backwards before realising what he had done.
'An I feeling afraid of him?' Helel thought to himself with anger.
"... are made of Primordial Crystal." Zadkiel said as his aura calmed down which was now bearable to the angels.
Helel's eyes widened along with the others at that declaration. But Zadkiel used that moment to appear in front of Helel and slash at the angel in a cross shape. Helel barely managed to dodge it as be blocked with his swords and was sent back. Helel glared at him as his anger outweighed his fears.
"It is time to put an end to your rebellion. I will personally see to it." Zadkiel said seriously before he pointed his right sword at the archangel leader.
