Chapter 67: Father and Sons Unite

Flying towards Asgard with breakneck speeds, the clouds were parting as Mordred and co. flapped their wings.

"Mordred, I don't know about this." Meredith got nervous a bit as he was relying on her and Valerie to break Fenrir's loyalty towards Loki.

"You are a dragon Meredith, do not falter. I know you can do it." Mordred hyped her up and Meredith smacked her cheeks.

"Yeah, you're right... I guess I'll use that against Fenrir and we'll see from there." Meredith got determined as she thought of how far she's gotten.

"Umu! We will kick that dog's ass! No offense, Skoll, Hati." Valerie grinned, giving her a thumbs up.

Skoll and Hati didn't mind though, their father was defeated by Mordred and Dulio. And the strong ones are to be followed. While the weak who lost are devoured or forgotten.

"Kekeke, why not just use consumption magic and devour Fenrir's soul? Receive his divine spark. Be a godslayer that will be feared all throughout the world!" The 1st head of Azi Dahaka was trying to lure him in.

'Hmm, that is certainly tempting. But I have decided in the past and I won't change my mind. Fenrir and his sons will be my pets.' Mordred thought about using forbidden magic.

But devouring Fenrir's soul to have a godslaying aspect and some extra strength isn't that beneficial in his mind.

"Fenrir will have better use to me as my attack dog Azi Dahaka. And have you been asleep? You should know my plan by now." Mordred rolled his eyes.

"Ahhh, yes~ I wanna see the underworld burn! Kill those filthy little bats and make them scream!" The 3rd head cackled like mad.

"Shut up, is this necessary Mordred?" The sensible 2nd head asked him.

"I am a king and a dragon Azi 2. If I let them trample all over me and my friends. Then I can't even be called a dragonkin. A dragon that has no pride is just an oversized lizard." Mordred won't budge on it.

"I see, truly a mix of a human's ingenuity and a dragon's strength." Azi 2 nodded sagely.

"How about we just invade them and kill them all!?" Azi 3 was as bloodthirsty as ever.

"Fool! You have to stew them! Make them think they have won. And then, you slowly take away everything they love!" Azi 1 cackled. Thinking of cooking up a scheme.

"Mordred, you okay?" Lavinia looked at him as he spaced out. "I'm good. Azi Dahaka has been talking to me. Come on, let's go." Mordred saw Asgard's bifrost and they entered the realm.

"Mordred my boy! It has been some time." Odin had a wide smile on his face as he saw Mordred developing to be an immortal, handsome, dragon.

"Teacher, it's nice to see you as well." Mordred gave him a hug and patted him on the back.

"I received your message. Brynhildr will guide you to him." Odin squinted his eyes, looking at him seriously.

"Don't worry teacher, we've gotten much stronger." Mordred nodded at him.

"Very well, be careful there. Break a leg and show your pet to the girls! They love dogs, kuahahaha!" Odin laughed.

"Mordred-sama, I will be leading you today." Brynhildr bowed at him.

"Umu, how are you? Did my massages give you some relief?" Mordred asked and Brynhildr's business poker face almost fell.

"W-what do you mean?" Brynhildr had a stiff smile on her face.

"Brynhildr, so you've gotten the Mordred special huh?" Ise wiggled her eyebrows at her.

"N-no I did not!" Brynhildr blushed like a tomato. "Then why do you know what that is, hmm?" Vali raised a brow.

"Woah, master. Even that stiff looking woman is putty in your hands?" Mo-chan was impressed. Brynhildr looked more stiff than her father after all.

"Please, follow me." Brynhildr's eyes twitched and she just decided to change the subject.

They went towards Fenrir's cell and the wolf was chained down by Gleipnir and several runes.

"Are you sure, Mordred-sama? If you want to dominate Fenrir, we'll have to take off Gleipnir and his runes. Otherwise, Meredith's magic will be counteracted by his chains." Brynhildr asked to be sure.

"We are ready, release him." Mordred nodded at her and Brynhildr started unsealing Fenrir by erasing key runes.

"Mordred-sama, this won't go like last time. Fenrir wouldn't underestimate you." Brynhildr warned and they prepared for battle against one of the strongest beings in the world.

With a howl, Fenrir broke his chains. Struggling against them violently when he felt them loosen up.

The ground shattered and Momiji immediately put them inside the dimension of Innovate Clear so they won't damage Asgard.

"Meredith! Prepare your magic!" Mordred ordered and he took out Gram and Caliburn.

Fenrir's eyes went bloodshot as he saw Morded and Dulio. He then bulked up immediately, his rage soaring through the roof.

The wolf immediately went into overdrive. As one of the strongest beings in the world. Fenrir could fight at his peak for days on end and he wasn't sparing any strength.

He roared, lightning and ice fell from the skies. Momiji flared her magic. Cancelling Fenrir's spells with a wave of her hand.

Innovate Clear's dimension is her domain after all. "That used up a lot of my mana Mordred-sama!" Momiji informed him.

"Just keep the dimension stable, this is going to be messy!" Mordred released a roar and his mana coalesced in front of his mouth.

A beam hit Fenrir right on the face and his fur scattered the beams. Sundering the battlefield all over.

"You're tough, how about this?" Lavinia smiled as she released a tsunami of violet flames.

Fenrir barked and a shockwave exploded right in front of him. The flames scattered and Fenrir began his charge at them.

"Transfer!" Ddraig's voice resounded and a white blur appeared in front of Fenrir.

"Divide!" Albion followed suit and divine dividing's blue wings glowed like an aurora. Taking in so much mana.

"Hngh!" Vali slugged Fenrir on the face and the wolf crashed on the ground like a ragdoll.

Fenrir plowed through the ground like a drill and he was sent deep into the earth.

Dulio then filled the hole with Zenith Tempest's storms. Lavinia quickly used ice to plug the hole and the earth trembled as magic exploded underground.

Mo-chan grinned as she saw something with her limited foresight. "Clarent. Blood Arthur!" She slashed her sword behind them as Fenrir appeared there.

The wolf growled as he got dragged by the energy blade of Mo-chan's sword. He then stood up and spit out a fang. Glaring at Vali hatefully for slugging him hard enough to take out a tooth.

It was regenerating immediately though and Morded squinted his eyes.

"How about we give this little pooch a nice gift?" Kuroka looked at Shirone and the sisters nodded at each other.

They were gathering natural energy. And the two of them got enough of it for a good scrap.

"Senpou: Shinsuusenju!" Shirone clapped, earthquakes raged as the ground got torn open.

Wood coalesced into one piece and it started to form. A truly gigantic construct made of wood that is stronger than steel.

"W-what the fuck?" Mo-chan could only gape as she saw Shirone make a giant wood statue that eclipses entire mountains.

A thousand arms behind its back, the statue's eyes were closed as if in a serene prayer.

"I can't let my sister outshine me now" Kuroka chuckled as she took out a red staff with a dragon's head at the tip, made of gold.

"The Riyu Jingu Bang? Sun Wukong gave it to you?" Mordred was quite surprised by that.

"Yeah, and get a load of this." She took a couple of hairs, throwing it in the air.

"Senpou: Sage body incarnations!" Clones of Kuroka appeared, with the same staff on hand.

"Extend!" They shouted at the same time and the staff went miles long.

"Widen!" The Jingu Bang thickened and it looked like it was a giant cylinder.

"Be crushed under heaven's pillar!" Kuroka and her three clones swung their staff. With a resounding explosion, the four pillars dented the earth for miles.

And she wasn't done there, Kuroka and her clones kept on hitting the spot where Fenrir was last seen.

"Here I come!" Shirone shouted at the top of her statue and the arms behind it began to creak.

Forming into fists, they aimed right at the middle of the dust cloud that Kuroka raised.

And with dozens of gigantic fists punching several times a second, landscape mowing blows hit the ground. An onslaught of attacks raining down.

Kuroka crouched down and the Jingu Bang shortened to its original state.

Shirone gathered energy again as her trump card uses up tons of natural energy.

The black haired nekoshou released all the kinetic energy from her legs and she appeared right under Fenrir who was having trouble standing. Trying to regenerate from all the attacks that hit him.

"Extend!" Kuroka pointed the staff towards Fenrir's abdomen and the Jingu Bang extended.

Fenrir howled in pain as the Jingu Bang made him crash to the ground and Kuroka used him as a plow.

The wolf swiped at the staff and the leverage made Kuroka recoil.

Fenrir then disappeared in the dust cloud he was in and Mordred felt magic ripple behind the best targets for assassination. The Nakiri twins and Valerie.

"No you don't!" Mordred opened a golden portal behind him in a split second and he threw the weapon that came out of it.

The ground exploded as he stomped. Throwing Scathach's gift to him. A gae bolg alternative.

Glowing crimson, the demonic spear's trajectory was true. And it hit Fenrir on the neck as he tried to chomp on the unprotected weaker members.

Howling in pain, Fenrir thrashed on the ground. But he got angrier and angrier. Noticeably growing larger and larger.

"Tch, you've got some nerve." Mordred cracked his neck and black arms formed behind him.

"Ohhh! He's gonna use it!" Mo-chan got excited. As she has never seen him use that form against someone else except Scathach.

And they couldn't watch closely because they'd be maimed or possibly killed by their stray attacks.

"Galatine." One of Mordred's swords absorbed the sunlight and it glowed golden. Like a sunny day in the afternoon.

"Arondight." The holy and demonic sword hummed, blue energy buzzing on its edge.

"Clarent." The sword of the heir glowed gold like his hair. And it gave him a crown on his head.

"Merodach." The simple looking sword just got enveloped by a holy aura that was stronger than Galatine and Clarent.

"Gram." Mordred's demonic emperor sword leaked crimson energy. A malicious and demonic feeling creeping in.

"And finally, for the swords that is the symbol of my duty." He armed his main sword arms with Caliburn and Excalibur.

"Senpou: Nativity of a world of trees!" Shirone boxed them in an arena made out of wood that was created by sage arts.

"To the virtuous we bring hope. And to the wicked we bring fire!" Mordred's aura exploded as he turned more draconic.

He raised Caliburn and Excalibur into the air and gathered his mana. Fenrir braced itself and he howled.

A storm of ice and lightning formed behind him. Robbing control of Momiji's Longinus with his divine spark.

"This light is the planet's hope! Proof of the life that illuminated this world!" Cleria and Kuroka felt their skin burn. Even the smallest amount of devil inside of them was being harmed by the divine light coming from him.

With a roar, Fenrir's divinity exploded to its full power. Distorting Innovate Clear's dimension. Pieces of the space shattering from the immense amount of mana in the air.

"Behold! EXCALIBUR!" Mordred swung down his sword.

Innovate Clear's dimension shattered completely and Lavinia quickly did some damage control.

Using her balance breaker to box them in further or Asgard will have a huge problem.

Fenrir opened his jaws and an ethereal head of the heaven devouring wolf appeared in front of him.

The fangs that could pierce anything crashed against Mordred's attack and everything went quiet for a quick second.

Everything then went white, an explosion of mana that was like a nuclear bomb incinerated anything around.

Holy fire burned through Lavinia's balance breaker and divine light illuminated Asgard. As if the sun has appeared right above the realm.

"I knew this would happen! My sons!" Odin immediately activated the runes in Asgard and the gods started powering it up immediately with their divinity.

A blue dome appeared right above Fenrir's prison. But some stray rays of light escaped and some mountain ranges that is nearby was hit by it.

The mountains simply disappeared from sight instantly, vaporized into nothing. Leaving a smoldering crater.

Brynhildr broke into a cold sweat. She couldn't even imagine what being nearby the epicenter would be.

Fenrir's prison was already in a separate dimension. And added with Momiji's Innovate clear, their clash broke through two spatial barriers.

"What a monster, I don't want to fight against that." Odin laughed wryly as he looked at the stray beams of light that did collateral damage.

"Mordred!" Ise immediately waved her hand and the dust around them got cleared away.

They gasped when they saw Fenrir's jaws around his torso.

"No way? Is Fenrir's fangs really unstoppable?" Vali frowned heavily and Lavinia flew to him with breakneck speeds.

"Mo-kun!" Lavinia wanted to pry off Fenrir off of him immediately, but she noticed that the heaven devouring wolf's face was half melted and only a few of his fangs hit Mordred.

Fenrir was also missing a limb and his divinity was exhausted.

"A worthy foe, such terrifying fangs." Mordred pried open Fenrir's shattered jaw with multiple missing fangs and he shoved him to the side.

"Are you okay!?" Lavinia immediately patted him over and tried to plug the holes on his body.

"I'm fine Lavinia. Meredith, Valerie, do it." Morded wanted them to immediately start to dominate Fenrir's mind with Alphecca Tyrant's nails.

"Heh, guhahaha!" Mordred laughed and they looked at him with worry, he doesn't laugh like that after all.

"Are you really fine?" Dulio raised a brow and Mordred chortled.

"I am more than fine, after all. We have just received the heaven devouring wolf. My pet is the best in the world. I have coveted this guy and I finally got him." Mordred was pleased.

"Did you really need Fenrir for your plans or just a pet?" Meredith raised a brow as she started stabbing the unconscious Fenrir with her nails.

"Of course, both." Mordred nodded in satisfaction and they deadpanned at him.

'He definitely wanted Fenrir as a pet and he was frustrated that he couldn't take him in back then.' Everyone who was with him in the Asgard trip thought simultaneously.
