Indra looked at the face of Asura which spoke to him and a memory flashed in his mind. The memory of him killing the Shiva-given son of his cousin Hiranyashipu.

And soon a name also came to his tongue. " Andhakasura. "

Indra looked at him with some discomfort while trying his best to not even look a little towards Shiva, but didn't forget to release his own majestic and thunderous aura of incomparable and mighty lightening and lordship, lordship over the Sky, over the Devas, over the three realms.

" my dear nephew. I am sorry for my actions and you don't know how much I regret it, that event has been eating up my heart for such a long time and now seeing that you are alive, I can finally remove that burden from my heart. " Indra spoke nonchalantly as if reading some speech from a paper with an arrogant smirk on his face and smiled back at Andhaka once the formality of asking an apology was done.

' Stop it immediately both of you. ' Brahma spoke in a strict but calm voice and both of them retracted their powers without any further notice. Ty

Feeling the dark and ominous aura directed at him, Indra gloated inwardly.

' Huh, hahaha Dark powers. Befitting of an Evil Asura, hahaha ' Indra smiled in his mind while looking at Vishnu's face.

The dark powers are an equivalent of an evil and chaotic god and knowing the views of Vishnu on Asuras, Andhaka was the perfect portrayal of the villain he can think about and somewhere, Lord Vishnu may also be thinking the same.

Now he wasn't feeling bad about that he was contested by this new Asura king in this little contest.

By the feel of it, this new Asura king was a little stronger than Prahlada and if the Indra of the second Deva Asura war was here, he would have been in some great problem but that was around more than a thousand years ago and he has improved tremendously since than. He didn't relax and stopped until he crossed the bar named Prahlada he had put in his mind. So now he was in quite a good mood.

~~~~~~
While Indra was lost in his own fantasy-filled thoughts. Andhaka also skilled evilly in his heart.
"What a fking weakling. Even weaker than Prahlada. Heck, what has been this trash doing all those years? He is from my father's generation but is still so weak. " Andhaka spoke with a disgusted tone.
If assessed by the little showdown they had right now, then Indra was weaker than Prahlada and that made him feel only more disgusting towards the devas and Vishnu.
Just now he acted like he was angry because, first. He was really angry at that bastard but by hiding his full strength he wanted to give a false sense of security to the gods and Vishnu.
Sensing that he isn't stronger than him already, Indra will certainly go with a relaxed and easy mindset and that was better for the Asuras as until they get the nectar, they didn't have much of an advantage over here.
Now ignoring Indra, Andhaka looked at the other powerful Devas who stood beside him, Sun god Surya, Air God Vayu, Water God Varun, Fire God Agni, Death God Yamraj and many other God class beings behind them.
He had agree it whether he liked it or not, currently if going purely by numbers then the Devas can be said to be equal to all the races in the three realms of the Ganas of Shiva are excluded from this list.
Whereas the Asuras only had thirty god-class beings currently with Svarbhanu, Vritra, Mahishasura, and Virochana as the High god class beings and including him, it was just a paltry twenty-five in comparison to the nearly double numbers of the Devas.
" Heh, these bastards are certainly very strong and by the looks of it, they have left quite a lot of god-class beings back in Devaloka too. " Andhaka spoke with some competitiveness and a little bit of jealousy.
The Asuras had recently gotten quite a dip in their numbers otherwise they won't be at least this much lacking in numbers.
Unlike the Devas who had left quite a lot of god-class beings and at least one High God class being as since the God of Justice and Karma Shani wasn't here then it meant that he was in the Devaloka, the Asuras only had Prahlada and then directly the ultimate class Asuras protecting their realm, not a single godly deity apart from him.
While the Devas and Asuras were glaring daggers at each other the Trimurit were also having a quite fierce discussion.
" THIS IS FINAL. HE HASN'T DONE ANYTHING EVIL UNTIL NOW, SO THERE IS NO REASON WE SHOULD GO BY YOUR WAY. " Shiva spoke calmly in a cold and domineering voice while gripping his trident more brutishly and staring at Vishnu.
" Lord Shiva forgive me for my rudeness, but you have become blind in your affections for him. " Vishnu also spoke in an equally resistant tone while extending his hand and a disc appeared in his finger.
The atmosphere around the two started to heat up as both of them weren't ready to give up.
" Stop both of you------ let's talk calmly. " Brahma spoke a little helplessly.
Unlike the Deva and Asura king who became quiet immediately, he doesn't have a similar effect on these two.
" Brahma we had decided to remain neutral among the conflicts between the Devas and Asuras, and I have already been quiet despite the previous actions of the Devas, now what more do you want me to do? I am just saying what we all three agreed on. " Shiva spoke while staring at Vishnu.
" Hmp, you knew about him being alive, didn't you? That's why you were so adamant about letting the Asuras take part in it. " Vishnu replied scathingly.
" Oh No " Brahma muttered to himself with a sighing look on his face.
" WHAT DO YOU INTEND TO SAY VISHNU?! " Shiva spoke with the third eye in his forehead fluttering slightly.
~~~~~~

Andhaka ignored the gauging eyes of the devas and looked at the bickering Trimurti. although they weren't able to hear anything due to a barrier covering the conversation but still by their expressions, movements and Vishnu's disc appearing in his hands it was easy to guess that there were some disagreements between the God of Destruction and the God of Order and it was actually serious.

He was having a bad feeling about this discussion and could only pray in his heart that it doesn't end up in something disadvantageous to his race.

" It's most probably about you. I think Lord Shiva may have already known about you being alive and it must have displeased Lord Vishnu somehow "If any of the Trimurti heard Mahisha's guess, they would have been shocked at how accurate it was.

" Maybe " but to Andhaka this was just one of the many possible theories and one which didn't wanted to believe.

" heh, what are you looking at? Do you want a beating and then go and cry to Vishnu? " Mahisha spoke with a smug face while pointing towards the Devas, and the laughter from his fellow Asura acted as the fire in fueling the devas.

" mmmmm? What? Are you guys angry? Mahisha stop it quickly or..... What can you do huh? " Svarbhanu spoke with sarcasm while acting scared.

" these damn brats. " Vayu the Air God spoke with gritted teeth while glaring daggers at the Asura group but was stopped by Surya, the sun god before he could do anything.

" let it go Vayu. just think of it as the ramblings of a child. They are simply not worth it. " Surya spoke in a cool tone while holding his brother's shoulder but before Vayu could calm down, a loud and hateful voice entered the ears of the Devas.

" Mahisha why are you trying to start a fight against these scared old men? What good would it feel to defeat them in their old age? C'mon, they are simply not worth it " and Andhaka didn't forget to look at Surya before turning his head around.

" Hahaha, it isn't us who have to regularly change Kings. " Andhaka really had to say, Indra was quite good at making others angry.

" we shall see who will be changing kings. " Andhaka quieted down as the three beings above them also became quiet and looked down at them as if they have came to some decision and Brahma spoke suddenly.

" before the ritual to summon the Amrita starts, let me them you some details. For the past few years, many divine and godly plants and herbs have been poured into the ocean and to get the amrita and the other things which come out of it and to get these treasures you all will have to work hard so both the Asuras and the Devas will have to churn the cosmic ocean to produce the Amrita. " most of Brahma'swords were going out of Andhaka's minds and he had many doubts but it wasn't the time to do that.

He looked at Indra to see how he was taking in this knowledge and if knew about it before this, but by the looks of it, he was also unaware of it like him.

" Lord Brahma but to churn the cosmic ocean we will need a strong pillar which could act as the centre stand and a very tight rope which could endure the strength of the Devas and Asuras. " Andhaka spoke in a respectful tone and from Brahma's words, the process of churning the ocean was going to be a long and arduous task.

" Yes. So to withstand the churning, The Divine Mount Mandara of Lord Vishnu will act as the central pillar of this ritual, I hope you don't mind much Vishnu. " Brahma spoke with a smile and Vishnu just nodded calmly with an expressionless face.

" and as for the rope...

" I would like to volunteer as the rope lord Brahma. " Vasuki hissed softly while raising his head from Shiva's neck.

" I don't want any treasure or Amrita but I just want your promise of protection for three thousand years for my race and a new comfortable realm for them to live in peace. " Vasuki hissed in a polite voice and if speaking logically he didn't ask much. So there was nearly a hundred per cent chance that his request would be accepted.

Before Brahma could even say something, Shiva himself spoke out. " Vasuki my dear devotee I promise your race protection for not three but four thousand years and if you are okay, then allow them to settle near Shambala in the Kailash. " Shiva spoke generously and Vasuki just nodded in delight without saying anything for a moment.

" Thank you my lord for your generosity. Our Naga race won't ever forget your kindness. " Vasuki spoke in a voice full of devotion while giving a slight hate-filled glance to Andhaka.

Although it was just a passing glance but he was able to see it clearly.

' be happy you damn Snake, this time I didn't have the strength to kill you all without the care of aftereffects but in the coming time... I will turn your life and race into misery. ' Andhaka thought while a smile covered his face as if he was genuinely happy for the Nagas but the other Asuras weren't as good as him at hiding their expressions.

Anyone with a clear eye could see how displeased and disgusted the reactions of the Asuras were after they heard Shiva's words.

" these damn spineless cowards. "

" shameless trashy beggers. "

" good riddance at least we won't have to see them for some good thousand years. How lovely the world would have been if even the Devas were gone into the Trimurti's protection. "

" Stupid bastards be quiet. " Andhaka hissed with a twitching face and continued with his fake smile, the Asuras behind him didn't even have the sense to talk a little lightly instead of just talking normally in a loud voice, now both the Naga kings along with the Devas were glaring at the asuras.

This was now a fact that the Naga race and the Asura Race had become sworn enemies but giving such remarks in front of the Trimurti wasn't helpful to the asuras in any way.

~~~~
" Now Then let's call the Divine Mountain Mandara. " Brahma clapped his hands together and a white burst of light so powerful enveloped the scene which even made Andhaka close his eyes instinctively.
" So this is the power of the God of Creation. " Andhaka muttered slightly as the flash of light disappeared and he looked at the Giant and Humoungous mountain in front of them.
The Mountain wasn't anything special if a normal mortal looked at it as there weren't even trees or any kind of greenery on the mount but to the supernatural the bright and powerful Mantras which revolved around it were enough to deter even high godly beings.
But..... The neverending and humongous mountain soon started to go downhill in the ocean and no matter if it was some divine mountain or not, in front of the cosmic ocean it was just another Mountain and soon it was half into the ocean and there were no signs of stopping.
Although this is expected by everyone around here but Andhaka doesn't think that the Mount is so long that it can reach the bottom and still be afloat.
" heh, is it gonna drown entirely? " Andhaka thought while looking at Brahma and waiting to see his embarrassed face.
Soon only the top of the mountain was left above the water and it was still.....going down.
And The tens of kilometres long mountain was soon gonna drown completely in the water.
" O Vishnu son, the Great Turtle Kurma I call for you to support this Mount Mandara in your back and let this sacred and holy ritual of Samundra Manthana commence. " Brahma shouted loudly while raising his hands at the endless ocean as if calling some tsunami to save him from the embarrassment of the Mountain drowning completely in the water.
Hearing Brahma's words, the worried expressions on the faces of the Devas and even some asuras relaxed.
Feeling as if he was some bigshot Andhaka tilted his head a little back and spoke in a quiet voice. " By the way who is this Kurma? "He feels that he has heard this name but doesn't remember the background story of this character.
" he is a son or incarnation of Vishnu. Unlike the Varaha and Narasimha incarnations of Vishnu who were made only to kill the Asura kings and then once again became with Vishnu, Kurma isn't subservient to Vishnu at all and instead to prefers to lie in the depths of the ocean most of the time. " Mahishasura murmured softly.
" Though the chances of him being an accidental-born son are very high as there was no motive for him to be an incarnation. " Svarbhanu hissed quietly while looking at the large fountain or Tsunami which erupted in the ocean below them.
'This incarnation thing again. I still can't understand the logic behind it clearly. ' Andhaka thought while anticipating the majestic form of this Great Turtle Kurma.
As the large columns of water which rose due to the appearance of Kurma quieted down and once again became tranquil with the ocean. A figure appeared before the eyes of all the beings present there.
" !!!! Is that... Kurma? " Andhaka asked incredulously while pointing at the turtle without any courtesy and even the Devas who were also a little surprised looked at Andhaka as if he was some idiot because his voice was quite easily audible to everyone.
' hahaha, this idiot Asura is really like his stupid father. So rude... But... Is this turtle really, THE Kurma? ' Indra gloated in his mind while looking forward to the incoming commotion.
The small and cute turtle which was barely even as big as a normal basketball floated in the air above the ocean.
If put ten normal turtles around him and shuffled nicely, Andhaka won't even be able to tell which of them was kurma and he is supposed to be some super strong aquatic beast.
" Humph, how will you stupid Asura be able to comprehend my holiness and strength? " Andhaka's brows scrunched in displeasure as he heard the deep and ancient voice which came out of the turtle's mouth.
Sure thing, he didn't mean to disrespect this turtle in any way but wasn't his reply a little too rude?
" hahahahaha then please show it. I really can't comprehend. " Andhaka spoke in a taunting voice while greeting him with contempt as he looked and down at the small turtle and then smirked with arrogance.
" Stop this disrespect you rude Asura. " Vishnu spoke with some anger in his voice as immense pressure excluded from his body.
" !!!!!! Damn, this..." Andhaka muttered slightly under his breath as the humongous pressure directed at him from vishnu was nearly gonna push him onto the ground. He held on to it will all his might that he can currently show but still this really gave him a deep impression of how strong his future maim enemy is.
" Asura king Andhaka you should thank Kurma for helping in this ritual but instead you are disrespecting him. " Even Shiva his so-called biological father spoke strictly while agreeing with Vishnu.
" Ohio, Lord Shiva I would like to apologize but what made you think that I am here simply for helping these two disgusting races get the Amrita? " Kurma spoke in a deep and powerful voice which responded through the surrounding ocean.
" Since Vasuki has demanded something for his help then what makes you think I am here to work for free? I will take one item from the treasures produced and one person's part of amrita. " Andhaka found his previous displeasure for the turtle vanishing away and a emotion of liking was replacing it.
This turtle was awesome, not an honourable dude who helped others just like that, and this was hard as no one acted like that in front of the trumurti, not even Indra and his group of clowns.
" Kurma, Your first request isn't a problem but the Amrita isn't simply a nectar but it also affects the luck and destiny of the two races so by giving you the Amrita, it will damage one side's luck and destiny so you should ask about it from the Asura King and the Deva King, not us. " Brahma spoke with a slight smile on his face while observing the two Kings.
' oho, nobody told me bout this destiny and luck thing. Well anyway, I never believed in this kind of crap. ' Andhaka thought while looking at Kurma who was looking at Indra.
" Turtle lord Kurma I have no problem in sharing the nectar from my side. " Andhaka spoke to the surprise of everyone, even the asuras themselves.
" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! " the Devas looked at Andhaka and couldn't believe what was happening. Is this Prahlada 2 going on?
" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
" King there is no need to do this just for some disrespect. " Mahishas spoke strongly with slight anger in his voice and couldn't understand his king's intention and felt as if Andhaka was doing it to compensate for his earlier disrespect against Kurma.
" yes. Anyway, there isn't much expectation from us anyway. There never has been any kind of expectation from us in this kind of matter so let these Devas do it. Aren't they the ones who claim to be the good guys? " Svarbhanu also spoke hurriedly.
" I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE ASURA KING FOR HIS GENEROSITY. " Kurma spoke rapidly as he didn't wish for Andhaka to change his decision. He knows what kind of person Indra is, so he would have most likely gotten a polite no from the devas and as for the asuras? He didn't even consider that as an option.
" Generosity? I am sorry lord Kurma but what made you think I am doing this just for generosity? " Andhaka asked with a poker face as if looking at a stupid instead of Kurma.
" !!!!!!!! "
" !!!!!
" Hahahahahahah well done, Well done Asura king well done, I have to say you are really amusing. " Kurma spoke while laughing happily with excitement. This new Asura king was quite like himself and he liked it.
Hearing this deep and powerful voice from this cute and kind-looking turtle was certainly a little uncomfortable but andhaka was accomtoused by now and he also smiled back a little.
The Trimurti also looked at Andhaka with some amusement and a few guesses on what the Asura would want.
" I would discuss it with you in private so don't quickly vanish off to somewhere after your work is done. " Andhaka spoke calmly while ignoring the disgusted and worshipping eyes of the devas and Asuras respectively.
" and would be really able to handle all that weight and shocks from the churning? " Andhaka asked while showing some friendly concern.
" hahahahahahaha don't worry you still didn't have enough strength to make me uncomfortable." Kurma quickly dived back into the water before saying tauntingly to the Asura King
Indra on the other hand had a very ugly look on his face, he was made a fool by this young Asura in front of all the gods. He doesn't put Kurma anywhere in his eyes, but as per everybody's expectations, it should have been him who should have offered the Amrita first but instead, it was taken up by the asuras along with the favour of Kurma.
" Young Asura maybe you still don't understand how important luck and destiny are for the Asuras at the moment. " Indra spoke in a loud tone while speaking as if he was giving knowledge genuinely as a senior.
" I can write my destiny and luck doesn't favours losers...always. " Andhaka replied with a smile while glancing at the Devas and then smiled with contempt.
" Hahahahahahahaha
" hahahahahahahahaha
" hahahahahahahahaha "
The Asuras started laughing loudly while pointing towards the Devas and muttering to each other and a bone-chilling silence enveloped the Devas group as they all unconsciously stared at their leader and King Indra.
RUMBLE - RUMBLE - BOX
the weather in the cosmic ocean started to change as dark clouds suddenly started to form in the previously clear blue sky and covered it in a matter of seconds.
Mantras of divine thunder started to radiate from Indra's body as he looked at Andhaka with a furious face.
" you---
"Brother just stop it. All this is just nonsense we shouldn't lose focus on our main goal. " Surya the sun god spoke while a golden glow around him pushed back the thunder mantras going haywire from Indra's body.
Listening to his brother's words, Indra once again gained control over his anger and nodded slightly to Surya while making the clouds and mantras around him disappear and soon the golden glow around Surya also dissipated.
" we shall see if you are as capable in churning the ocean as you are in talking. " Indra muttered coldly before turning his head towards the Trimurti.
" Yeah, we will. "
~~~~

" As his elder and the Deva king, Indra should have acted a little more t maturely instead of just getting angry. " Brahma muttered slightly while looking at Andhaka with some interest.

"sssssshhhhhhh Brahma don't speak the obvious. We have to ignore Indra because his rule makes the world more peaceful but when it comes to asuras, we should punish them despite even doing something, just because someone thinks that they are evil born and heretical. " Shiva spoke genuinely while putting a finger on his mouth.

" yeah, I still remember how much chaos occurred in the three realms last time an Asura ruled the three realms, if cannibalism, wanton murder, disrespect of the Vedas, and bullying the weak make me have some prejudice for a certain race then so be it. " Vishnu spoke righteously.

" see he even accepts it. " Shiva spoke suddenly with a triumphant face.

"ugh...Brahma what are we waiting for? Let's start the ritual. "
