"So what did you want to talk about?" Jeanne questioned wanting to get this over with. The blank check she gave him was about to be cashed and it could be anything.

The fact he was even doing it so soon was shocking and she couldn't help but wonder.

"I recently found out about an organization of supernatural beings that is popping up recently. It's a group whose goal is to cause trouble all throughout the three factions." Issei smiled.

"So what does that have to do with me." Jeanne said defensively.

"Like me, you have a sacred gear and there's a chance that somebody from that organization might come after you to recruit you. I'm using the blank check to make sure that you know about that and request that if this group tries to recruit you that you let me know as soon as possible"

"I see" Jeanne replied with an unsure tone in her voice which bothered Issei.

"Amusingly enough that's it." Issei chuckled trying to keep things simple.

Jeanne was stunned by the situation and couldn't help but voice her opinion, "So let me get this straight. You're using a favor that could net you practically anything you want within reason, to warn me about some group that you've only heard rumors about and make sure that if they come after me, that you know. You can't be serious" Jeanne wondered in disbelief.

"As much as it bores me to do so yes. You and I are far too popular to do this in public and if I made a trip up to Nochizuri to see you exclusively it would cause loads of headaches for both of us since I practically never do that. Besides I'm already having sex with you and Momiji is the one who arranges my Nochizuri dates so asking you for help there is pointless. The only thing I could ask you for is kendo and if Mury found out I asked you about anything kendo related she'd try to kill me" Issei shrugged.

Jeanne blinked owlishly at the statement and how annoyingly accurate it was.

Then something else occurred to her, "Wait a minute, couldn't you have just got my number from Momiji and asked me that way."

Issei chuckled since she had a point, "Momiji and her sister are annoyingly perceptive. If I asked for your number she would want to know why and I don't feel like doing that."

Jeanne blinked once again and smiled since he was right.

She got up from the bed and walked over to Issei and wrapped her arms around him, "If that's all, can I get one last kiss for the road? It might be a while until I see you" Jeanne requested.

"Sure" Issei replied with an odd look on his face as they kissed once again.

Issei couldn't explain why but the kiss lacked the passion from earlier if anything it felt like a kiss goodbye which was not good.

"Bye Issei" Jeanne said with a solemn voice as she left the room leaving Issei alone.

'Hey Ddraig, you have a bad feeling about that or was it just me.' Issei replied.

'No partner something was very wrong with that.' Ddraig confirmed.

"We'll see what happens later." Issei replied as he prepared to return home himself.

The next day was supposed to be a relaxing day for Issei as he sat around doing his other passion video games. "I'll worry about Jeanne later although yesterday felt like a kiss goodbye." Issei mused as he got on his headset and played smash brothers to start his fun.

Two hours into his session he got a phone call from a surprising source.

'I wonder what Momiji wants. I hope this isn't to complain about Cecelia.' Issei thought as he quit his smash brothers training session to answer the call.

"What did you say to her." Momiji said angrily catching him off guard.

"Who" Issei replied.

"Jeanne. What in the world did you and Jeanne talk about when you cashed your blank check?"

"Momiji you know damn well I can't tell you that." Issei groaned in annoyance.

"I know! But Jeanne is gone. She wasn't here so I thought it was her out for a morning run but it's the middle of the day and she's nowhere to be found." Momiji replied clearly frustrated.

"What!?" Issei replied in shock before dropping his system. He had a rotten feeling to begin with but this was too much.

"Yeah. Everything was fine when we came back but I woke up I didn't see her. I figured she was just out running or at practice but that was 4 hours ago."

"I see" Issei frowned.

"I don't know what to do." Momiji said nervously.

A part of Issei was furious because he knew exactly what happened. The reason he did it via the blank was to see Jeanne's expression when he mentioned the group.

Given what happened, it was obvious that Jeanne was already a member of the group that Issei was warned about but he couldn't tell her that, "Just relax. Maybe she just left campus for something private." Issei replied trying to assure Momiji that everything was okay even if it probably wasn't.

"Okay" Momiji replied before hanging up.

"We screwed up partner."

'Yeah' Issei groaned but there was nothing he could do. As he reached for his system once again, he got a knock on his bedroom door.

"Issei there's somebody with supernatural powers at the door to see you. I didn't recognize the aura so it's not one of the girls I'm aware of. What should I do?" Issei's father replied.

'It can't be' Issei thought to himself. "Bring her in and up here. Also tell absolutely no one about this." Issei replied with a firm tone that he truthfully shouldn't use with his father.

"O-kay" Issei's father replied nervously. As his father went to bring his supposed guest up Issei put his video games away since he had a feeling, he wouldn't be getting back to them any time soon.

Just as he finished the door opened and Jeanne walked in with a frown on her face.

She was dressed in a blue hoodie sweatshirt with grey sweatpants which was horribly unflattering, but since this was about business Issei didn't mind.
