7. Rating Game 2

Currently, only Riser was left in the room of his base.

Ravel dispatched herself in battle alongside with the other servants.

"Now then let's end this farce of a Rating Game."

Riser ordered his familiar to send a challenge letter directly to Rias. Moments later it happened just as expected, she accepted the challenge immediately.

Riser teleported to the rooftop. He appeared there confidently full of openings. Riser didn't even look like he's in the middle of a fight, his face look like he's walking on a park defenseless.

In a distance, two girls are approaching the rooftop where Riser is. It was Rias carrying Asia on her arms.

"So you've come Rias. This is the thing you want to happen, so don't expect any mercy coming from me."

Whoosh!!

The hellfire erupted from Riser's body as he prepared for battle. Feathered wings made of fire appeared behind his back making the surrounding temperature rise sharply. A standard stance for battle.

Rias also prepared herself as she generated her powers of destruction on her palms. Her aura intensified as her intent for battle rose.

"Take this Riser!"

"Hmph."

Both shot each other a blast of fire and destruction towards the other. It caught unto each other on the middle causing an explosion.

Rias sends another destruction directly.

Riser didn't dodge and simply took the attack. A part of his torso burned into flames and when the powers of destruction touched his body, it went past through behind him.

"What?!" Rias gasped in surprise.

Even if the Phenex Clan holds the power of Immortality, if they get hit by a direct attack they would still flinch and feel some little bit of pain.

"Surprised? It's nothing special. This is just a minor trick you get when you spend a lot of your time mastering your powers." Riser snickered.

Riser despaired over that fact. She was banking on the fact that Riser might be overconfident of his powers of Immortality and take all the hits that she throws at him in the attempt to lower his spirit and voluntarily surrender. However she just witnessed that even if she made almost made a direct hit, the attack will just past through the fire.

How could they defeat an enemy who is Immortal, and they can't even as well as touch them?

Still as a King, Rias refused to lose with her adorable servants doing their best helping her overcome this situation.

'I still have Asia, Yuuto, Akeno, and Issei. That's right, we can do this together!' Rias was hopeful.

But then an announcement put her hope down.

"Rias Gremory-sama's Queen retires." Grayfia's voice, who acts as the Rating Game referee, echoed in the entire field.

"Akeno?!"

Then not even a few seconds later, another announcement echoed.

"Rias Gremory-sama's Knight retires."

"Even Yuuto?!" Rias was in shock and despair.

Riser chuckled looking at her face. Seeing her friends slowly but surely retire from the game showed her immaturity to not keep her emotions show on herself in the middle of battle.

"Hehehe, surely you're not gonna surrender on this game just because a few of your servants retire don't you? You're not that kind of Rias I know." Riser said in sarcasm.

"Just what are you trying to say Riser?" Rias grinded her teeth in anger. Her eyes nearly bloodshot from glaring at him.

"I just found it sad if we're going to end this game anticlimactically, that's all." Riser said.

They continued their battle with each other throwing out a blast of hellfire and destruction once again.

Then, a few moments later.

"Buchoouuu!!! Hyoudou Issei, here at your service!"

"Issei!"

"Issei-san!"

The two girls Rias and Asia rejoiced happily as if they acquired emotional support. Issei's presence is enough to regain their morale.

"Hmph, so Ravel let you past here. Perfect timing, I've been waiting for this moment." Riser's tone changed like he's switching gears for this fight.

"Riser-sama, should I take care of the Pawn boy and the Bishop girl? Also the power of the Pawn boy could be troublesome. His ability of to get rid of what his opponent wear-." Riser stopped Yubelluna who stepped forward with his hand.

"There's no need to concern yourself with this Yubelluna. You have done well in this game, I'll make sure to reward you handsomely after this. For now go to Ravel and stand back away from here, it's going to get dangerous."

"Understand." Yubelluna flew away as she said to where Ravel is.

"Take this Riser!" Rias shoots another blast of destruction straight towards Riser's face.

Riser's entire head bursts into fire as it 'dodges' the attack without even moving from his initial position.

"Asia!"

Issei called Asia's name, she looked at Riser nervously. Then she comes to Issei. Riser didn't even try to shoot Asia who is moving towards Issei.

Asia started healing Rias and Issei's wounds from battle. Their aching bodied that sustained their injuries slowly healed. But their stamina remaind the same. Even if the wounds healed, the stamina hasn't.

"It'll be troublesome if you just heal everytime huh. Then how about this." Riser made a weird signal with his hands and then suddenly...

BOOM!

"Kyaaa!"

"Asia!"

"Asiaaaaa!!!"

Rias and Issei gasped at Asia suddenly gets attacked by an explosion.

"Rias Gremory-sama's Bishop retires."

"Now with this the possessor of the Twilight Healing is gone. This is the ending, Rias."

Rias's lifeline just got eliminated from the game.

"What did you just do to Asiaa!" Issei furious, screamed at Riser.

"What are you so mad about? I knew Rias would accept my challenge easily so I had Yubelluna set up a trap that detects healing in advance. It's just basic tactics in the game. You even set up traps on my adorable servants retiring several number of them. You have no right to be angry." Riser said.

"Bastard!" Issei clenched his fist hard ready to give a go at it with Riser any moment now.

"Issei calm down!" Rias however maintained her calm.

"Hmph, as expected of you. Even if you're spoiled and throws tantrums everytime that doesn't go your way, you're still a King that understands the burden of your servants actions. That's commendable of you Rias."

"I have no need of your sarcasm Riser."

"Well I'm really saying what I truly feel about it. It hurts getting treated coldly when we're getting married after this."

"Like hell I would! I'm gonna win this this game!"

"Then show me all you've got!"

And the clash between Kings had gotten fiercer.

Blasts of hellfire and destruction are being shot everywhere in the field. The entire school grounds looked like it suffered a severe calamity. The grounds are full of craters, buildings destroyed, trees burning with fire.

Rias heavily breathes catching up her stamina.

Issei who could do nothing saw himself in the middle of battle, so useless. It was because he was so weak, that he couldn't even help a little bit with his King.

"What the hell could I do?" Issei felt lost. His emotions grow until his Sacred Gear responds to his feelings

The jewel of the Boosted Gear in his left arm glowed.

"BOOST!"
