1 Chapter 1: Brith

"Wahhh Wahhh" A piercing sound that marked the beginning of new life in this world.

A beautiful woman with long brown hair, and gentle violet-purple eyes, laid back on her bed, panting her beautiful fair skin covered in a thin sheen of sweat, Her skin was unnaturally pale along with dark circles around her beautiful eyes Clearly exhausted.

"Please…give me my child Greyfia," The woman said with a happy but weary look in her eyes.

The woman named Greyfia, another beautiful woman with long silver hair and grey eyes, wearing a traditional Japanese maid outfit nodded, In her arms was a small bundle.

"Of course lady Venelana" She replied her voice crisp and cool but her eyes filled with a touch of warmth very unorthodox for her, She gently gave the small crying bundle of joy onto Venelana's outstretched hands.

Venelana looked into her child's eyes with love and motherly affection, yes she was exhausted and yes the birth was painful, but by Lucifer, she would do it again just looking into the eyes of her baby boy.

The baby boy in question had stopped wailing, His big eyes staring back into Venelana's as if recognizing her as his mother.

He had a small tuff of pure vermillion red hair, His skin was fair and soft, and He had two pools of pure blue as his eyes, Like that of a beautiful endless ocean.

Venelana weakly traced his cheeks in relief "He looks just like his older brother doesn't he?" she smiled still very much exhausted.

Greyfia smiled a bit a very unnatural sight on her usually stone-cold complexion "He does look a lot like lord Sirzechs So Lady Venelana what will you name him?"

Venelana's eyebrows creased in thought "Aureolus…Aureolus…. Gremory." Greyfia raised an eyebrow in remote bits of surprise.

"That's a beautiful name lady Venelana." She remarked after giving it some thought.

"And strong too…" She remarked as the baby grabbed onto her finger tightly "Well let Sirzechs and Zeoticus in... I'm sure they're dying to see him, especially Sirzechs."

Before Grayfia could even reach for the door, They burst open as two tall red blurs entered the room at light speed going to each side of Venelana's bed.

On the left of her was a tall handsome man with shoulder-length vermilion hair, Blue-green eyes like that of the ocean reminiscent of the baby in Venelana's arms.

The one to the right of her was an older version of the former, With a red beard and pure blue eyes instead of green.

"Aureolus is a nice name darling…" The older of the two gently said a slender finger tracing the boys cheek a bit, The baby giggled in response grabbing onto his father's hand tightly, Who raised an eyebrow in amusement.

"And he's strong…I'm sure he will awaken a vast amount of demonic power." He was about to speak more, before being cut off by the excited man beside him.

"Who cares he's so CUTE." The red haired man practically yelled out wanting to immediately take his baby brother into his arms.

"Sirzechs shush…you'll scare him." Venelana gently scolded her eldest son rolling her eyes a bit.

Grayfia in the back sighed merely at her husband's antics though decided to not say much, It was after all a very joyous occasion.

"He has your eyes, Darling." Lady Venelana said softly and lovingly to her husband.

"He does…" He muttered back gently, His soul feeling a surge of satisfaction from having another child, And one that may be just as strong or even stronger than his eldest.

The child in question yawned before falling asleep in his mother's arms too exhausted, Even if he was a devil he was still a baby.

"Let's check his demonic power." Aureolus's father said softly.

Sirzechs looked over at his father in mild surprise His wife and mother also being taken aback, Checking for demonic power wasn't necessary to be done at birth unless the parent involved was very impatient.

"Zeoticus, are you sure? I don't want to disturb him..." Lady Venelana said hesitantly, the mother and son were both depleted.

"Father I don't think it's wise to check it right now, We can put this off till a later date, right?" Lucifer replied apprehensively a bad feeling forming in the depths of his soul.

"Sirzechs it'll be fine surely nothing but good can happen? I'm sure another great king will be born today." Zeoticus shot back, traces of obsession and pride appearing in his blue eyes.

Venelana sighed helplessly she knew how her husband was sometimes, reluctantly nodding to Sirzechs in approval.

"Go ahead Sirzechs with your control over demonic energy you won't disturb him much." Venelana gave her eldest the green light, who just nodded in response, taking his baby brother into his embrace from Venelana's outstretched arms.

Sirzechs sighed being careful not to wake his baby brother, As his hand glowed a gentle violet-purple light, It was his demonic energy entering Aureoles's body to scan it.

He hummed a bit, it took a bit longer than he expected, Ten seconds nothing, his eyebrows furrowed.… Twenty seconds nothing….thirty seconds nothing…..forty seconds nothing…..Fifty seconds nothing…a full minute nothing.

"What…." Sirzechs frowned an expression of bewilderment over his previously happy expression.

'He doesn't….have demonic power?' that's not possible, Sirzechs instantly cut that idea out of his head, but he couldn't stop the voice in the back of his head speaking to him.

His eyebrows creased in sheer puzzlement, Sirzechs was Lucifer the uncrowned king of the underworld, The strongest Devil ever born, The emperor of destruction, One of the ten greatest beings on the face of this entire planet.

He had seen civilization rise and fall he had lived for centuries now, He had particularly seen everything yet here he was puzzled and just baffled.

Animals in the underworld evolved to have demonic energy, every single living creature had a type of "magic" or "energy" In them some like devils just called it demonic energy.

Sirzech's demonic energy delved deeper into his baby brother's body trying to find anything, But nothing, Nada, blank it was like looking at an empty pool, you know something was meant to exist inside it, The ground was dug perfectly for water yet no water was there.

Aureolus was the youngest child of two ultimate-class devils, the younger brother of a super-class devil, and The strongest devil in existence yet here he was with not even a drop of demonic energy in him.

"Sirzechs what is it?" Lady Venelana was a mother after all and could read her child's expression immediately asking gently.
