Prelude; Helius' Golden Prayers

The multiverse of Helius, A planet in the Primal Universe.

It was a planet filled with godly life, one of the most renowned spots in the Primal Realm, considered by the citizen of the lower realm as the realm of the gods. Countless deities flew from one planet to the other, participating in wars, and conquering whatever stood in their path... everything with the intention of prolonging their lifespan and increasing their strength.

For thousands of years, gold has been the most precious cultivation resource... the energy it contained was unprecedented compared to other resources, and sadly... its abundance was similarly scarce.

This time, an unprecedented crisis had stricken the Primal Realm, and it was swiftly beginning to expand without rest.

[Lesser Star God, Furoh Heinrow. Sailor of the Stars]

A man sat with his head against the table, his aura spreading through coldly as he clutched his head; having experienced a deep catastrophe. In this lower planet of the Primal Realm, he was the leader of a group of lesser gods.

The planet of Halley was a merchant planet to the south of the Primal Realm, a point where most entities recurred in order to exchange treasures, bounties and sweat. It was also one of the spots with the most concentrated gold in this region of the Primal Universe.

A man entered the room he was in, lit by candles and with a sombre atmosphere. No god had seen rest for the past week, many have died and more will continue perishing for as long as this curse doesn't end.

"The Primordial of Gold had enough of us. Enough of us trying to plunder his treasures, Furoh..." The man clutched his missing and bleeding arm and fell on a chair to the side.

"You got rid of it, didn't you!?" The lesser God of stars screamed, literally tearing down.

"Yes, everyone has... we threw it all away but... it won't be long before the corrosion reaches us, the goons that we to assist me... none of them turned back" The man placed his hand against the missing spot where his right arm was supposed to be, creating a blue fire and cauterising the injury.

"It caught you, Lin?"

"Yes... I had to remove my arm completely... even my soul was getting corroded, Furoh"

"..." The words of his right hand did nothing but further, aggravate Furoh's worries for the future.

"I heard that a war broke through in the primal realm... it seems the Primordial of Death intends to monopolise the gold to further strengthen his forces, it is rumoured he has a way to fight against the Gold Corrosion..."

"He's going to come for ours too? I believe this is merely a temporary issue, Lin... if we pray to him... his anger may recede!"

"You know..." The man slumped on the chair; tired.

"You know the Golden Dragon God is not one to have mercy once his rage is triggered, I don't know who did it or what they did, but... they must have fucked it up good!" He screamed with unprecedented rage.

"How long do we have until it reaches the city?"

"We left it in a pit to the west of Chambria... as deep as we could make it, we threw all the gold in there but even before we left it was already starting to expand, I'm afraid we may have made a mistake, Furoh... what if the corrosion is also expanding down? won't it devour the planet eventually?"

"..."

"There are informants saying... the treasury realm is expanding."

"Just what is going on!? Lord Primordial of Gold please forgive us!"

No one could have ever expected that the Primordial with the material concept, could reach such an unprecedented degree of power, to the point the whole multiverse was squirming by his retaliation. Those that possessed gold were those at the peak... which meant, that his retaliation was not against the poor and broken, but against the mighty and powerful.

Those that graciously coveted Gold for their own greedy purposes, suddenly found themselves being corroded one day! the corrosion that was supposed to be only in the Treasury Realm, had started to trigger in the whole multiverse!

There is more gold than ever, but no one dares to touch it or even possess it!

Countless wealthy planets weep in desperation as they get rid of their ever-expanding gold.

It is greed... or survival.

The only cause of it could be a single individual, the only owner of all the Gold that exists in the multiverse.

The Primordial Golden Dragon God, Richter.

"All we can do is pray to him... if nothing changes in the next year or so... we may need to evacuate, the whole Primal Universe will be engulfed in chaos and wars, and eventually..." A lesser God of Thieves, Lin, said with a frightened yet calm voice, perhaps more aware of what the future awaited than most.

Furoh grit his teeth and nods, looking towards the horizon.

"Primordial of Gold, please have mercy..."

Far away from the main city of Chambria; there was a giant pit where a bunch of gold had been thrown, there... the gold continued to endlessly corrode anything in its path.

Little did they know that their prayers to the Primordial of Gold would do nothing but aggravate the situation.

Without its rightful owner present, the Gold in the Universe could only expand and scream in outrage. Reaping lives, land, oceans, cities, entire planets, stars and eventually... realms... demanding its master be back immediately.

With more and more prayers, this Gold did nothing but grow stronger and more rampant.

The gold corrosion has but started in the Multiverse of Helius.

The Multiverse of Helius, Void Dimension.

The centre of the multiverse, the origin of all that exists... this pace was the most primal and ancient; bereft of life, space or time, only two existences could dwell here.

Two gargantuan blue eyes opened, followed by two equally massive white ones.

"Nebulous..."

"Destiny..."

"Start explaining to me... what is going on... why did you do it... and how we're going to fix this" the white eyes spread their aura along the void, clashing with the blue aura only ending in a stalemate of dominance.

"Richter was a threat to the balance..."

"The balance is gone now that he is missing!"

"It had to be done... his mere presence has caused negative influence among the other primordials. Destruction, Life, Matter and Death no longer follow due course due to his influence... we all needed a rest"

"NEBULOUS! WHY DID YOU SEND MY MATE THERE!?"

"He is not your mate, stop deluding yourself, sister..."

"ANSWER ME!"

"I'm merely sending him away temporarily until everything calms down and balance is restored..."

"Calm down?! Ether is about to fight Crush in the Treasury Realm... creation and destruction have halted and random worlds in the lesser realms are being created and obliterated as their aura turns chaotic... due to Richter's absence as the medium; Primordial Gold has gone berserk... DO YOU CALL THIS BALANCE?!"

"You should have seen with your fate, even if it takes a while... balance will eventually be restored, but if Richter were to remain, only chaos awaits..."

"What about Primordial Gold..."

"Isn't also your desire to get rid of Primordial Gold?~"

"... we can't place our own selfish desires before balance, Nebulous!"

"Now that Richter is outside Helius, it is your best chance... the other Primal Spark is alongside Monique's body... isn't this the best moment for you?"

"Nebulous..."

"I know exactly what you intend to do, that's why I decided to help you like this".

"Why send Richter to 'that' world, Nebulous... what are you hiding from me?"

"That is the place where Primordial of Sin was exiled to, millions of years ago... wouldn't it be interesting for Richter to fetch that Primal Spark back into Helius?~"

"..." Destiny frowned profusely, having a hard time believing how much Nebulous had considered everything.

"Why are you doing this, you're not like this..."

"Suffice to say I'd benefit from Primordial Gold ceasing to exist... you and I know, Destiny. That concept ended up not being as weak as we expected".

"I can't do it... Richter has to discard Primordial Gold himself, any other method will erase him as well, you know this!"

"I have found a method with the Primordial of Death, Zekron... we can forcefully separate him from Primordial Gold, rendering his Primal Spark useless... don't you trust me, sister?~"

"I don't... Nebulous, I don't trust you... if you do anything to damage my mate".

"You just said... we can't place our own selfish desires before the balance of Helius, are you going to go against your own principles, sister?~"

"..."

Amidst the smirk of the Primordial of Space, the Primordial of Fate disappeared from this void, leaving a quiet place once again.

'As long as I can regain control of Ether... everything will be worth it, stay away in the meantime, Primordial of Gold'.
