Archangels Resemblance

[Richter's POV]

Grayfia took me somewhere, the place where we were more likely to find the answers that we're seeking to our situation, the Astaroth Clan where that green-haired Devil King lives. We were invited before by him and his family and upon entering the servants answered us as if the master of the palace himself was coming in.

"Richter-sama!" Albedo received us in the entrance together with two other boys, the male looked at her with slight avoidance while the lady seemed to be on friendly terms with the Nephilim.

"Nice to meet you, Lord Golden Dragon, I'm the Heir of the Astaroth Family, Diodora Astaroth".

"And my name is Latia Astaroth, a pleasure to receive you in our humble castle today".

A dark-green-haired boy and a light-green-haired beautiful lady.

'Humble castle, huh?' those words don't go together but in any case, I can see what's going on. The city of Lilith is the place where the four devil kings live. Nevertheless, we were not invited there, instead, we were taken to the South where the Astaroth Family is located.

Ajuka's purpose is clear, introduce me to his family, I couldn't care less and he -together with his wife, Sandalphon- noticed.

Grayfia as my representative nodded towards them and placed her eyes on Ajuka, "You should know why we're here Ajuka..."

"I understand, but wouldn't you want to stay for dinner? we have shrimps~" He said those words shamelessly, his eyes focusing on me while Sandalphon and their daughter giggled, only the two younger lads seemed to be confused as to what the shrimps have to do with anything.

'Cunning bastard... now I will have to stay for dinner' I sighed as Albedo grasped my arm inside hers much to Latia and Diodora's shock.

"Here, Richter-sama... I will show you my room-!"

Grayfia grasped Albedo's wrist before she led me away and she 'smiled' at the Nephilim who also returned her own smile in return, "I was joking, Grayfia-sama... I'm merely showing him how our castle looks"

"Does the tour end in your bedroom?~"

"Of course not, the tour ends here, come, Richter-sama..."

Albedo started giving me a tour but I don't believe her bullshit, she must have other intentions.

'Where are you taking me?' I asked her.

'To my bedroom~'

'Do you wish to die that much?~' I wouldn't protect her from Grayfia, in fact, I wouldn't protect anyone that Grayfia wants to kill... if that person is unable to at least survive Grayfia, then she's likely not qualified to be with me.

'I'm joking, Richter-sama... I wanted to speak to you alone'.

'About?'

'About the dimensional gap...'

'Speak, what do you want to know?'

'Are you injured?' She asked me worriedly.

'I'm healthy... Great Red wasn't able to injure me... but the fight was taxing indeed' I confessed.

'Unbelievable... Richter-sama, you know that you killed one of the strongest gods, Shiva of the Hindu Pantheon, with a single breath attack' she said those words as if she didn't believe them herself.

'It wasn't a single breath attack, Albedo... I placed a lot of strength in that attack, even the strongest beings in my own multiverse would have found it difficult to be unscathed after receiving it' I said that but... the truth is that I could have released several breaths like that in a row without issue, they wouldn't be able to kill a primordial, but they'd be able to easily destroy their avatars.

'Why? Why kill Shiva?'

'It was a misunderstanding, I was hallucinating and confused him with someone else... that's all, I have some questions for you'.

'Please, ask away...' Albedo sighed, she has more questions to meet but doesn't want to press forward as we continued our tour along the Astaroth household.

'What happened to that dragoness?'

'You never knew?' I tilted my eyebrows, such an old existence and they never knew she was a female...

'W-Well... nobody was fool enough to even try approach Great Red, let alone ask her if she's female or male! Moreover, from what we know from the Ouroboros Dragon, they're existences capable of switching their genders to their desires. So, she might not have been a female all along... in any case, she sealed herself in the dimensional gap... we have been unable to enter it using common means ever since the fight occurred, I believe she's healing herself and repairing the gargantuan fissure that you made in space. We didn't even know dimensional gap could be sliced outwards... ridiculous'.

'The dimensional gap is merely the border of this universe, it is as wide as the size of this universe... what you mortals usually do is to use it as transportation means, however... this dimensional gap is a sophisticated membrane that covers the universe, protecting it from the dangers of the multiverse. What you saw me cut through with my attack was the multiverse z-axis that connects multiple realities together, even existences like me find it hard to move across that desolate nothingness... for someone like Great Red whose control is nothingness, however... she should have it easy to transport across'.

'Amazing... we never knew... s-so why were you there?'

'I was trying to inspect the z-axis and find a way to my world when we encountered one another and well... as powerful dragons that we are, it was unavoidable'.

'Richter-sama, I never thought it that way but... perhaps this universe is really too small for you...'

'Why?' I wondered why she thought so, so far I have been enjoying myself here even if I still desire to return, as the days go by... taking this universe to Helius is becoming more of a prominent thought of mine. I wouldn't even mind moving my treasury realm to this universe and making it my home universe.

'Well, Great Red is the strongest existence there is in here... you're a fish too big for this small pond, could it be that where you're from there are even other existences as strong as you are?'

'As strong as I am? there are even stronger than me~'

'IMPOSSIBLE!' We stopped as she gasped at me in disbelief.

'I am what you would call a Primordial, an existence that serves to keep the balance in the multiverse... from the dozens of primordials across existence, there are four Primordial Dragons, out of those four, at least two are stronger than me as for the other two, it varies... I have never fought them, so I don't know... Helius, the place I'm from is an immense ocean filled with all sorts of exotic fish' I kept using her analogy.

'I'd like to go there one day'.

she sent me a furtive glance which I ignored, she obviously wants me to take her there.

With silence we walked past her room, Albedo smirked and moved her dress aside, showing me her white bra, covering her delicious breast. I think she wasn't bold enough yet to move her bra away and give me a shot; as a response a mawed on her pitch-black hair and smirked, leading us back to the main room as she pouted.

'I will work hard to become stronger, Richter-sama...'

'And then?'

'Then I will be qualified to be in your eyes'.

'I'm looking forward to it, Albedo' I have her a kiss on the cheek and the beauty blushed before giving me one back as if 'repaying'.

There was silence between us as we returned to the main hall where the Astaroth Clan sat, waiting for us.

[Grayfia's POV]

This clingy raven-haired Nephilim! no wonder they were shamelessly exterminated, 'W-Wait, Grayfia... you can't think like that...'

I reprimanded myself, jealousy is such a wicked feeling for a demoness to have, I can only blame my master for being so attractive. But this girl is really getting on my nerves, compared to the rest she's so outgoing and bold!

"I have a question to ask you, Sandalphon" My master suddenly asked amidst our dinner... the whole Astaroth Clan was silent merely enjoying my master's presence.

There was also some awkwardness, I can tell it is not usual for Sandalphon and Albedo to have dinner with everyone at the same table.

"U-Uh? w-what could it be, Lord Richter?" She asked him with curiosity.

"Have we seen each other before?"

I stopped eating right away and looked between master and Sandalphon, confused.

"No, I don't believe that's the case... why would you ask?" The ex-archangel's confusion mirrored everyone's at the table.

"I recall your face from somewhere... could I see your wings?" He asked but by now each of his requests sounded more like orders that shouldn't be denied.

Sandalphon nodded and stood up showing him her wigs, they were black, just like albedo's but Sandalphon had twelve wings, the same amount of wings the powerful Seraphs of heavens have. In addition, she had two horns and a black halo that indicated her status as a Nephilim.

However, she's still different from Albedo; according to Ajuka, she was 'reincarnated' as a devil, although I still don't understand what he means by this. Whereas Albedo was born a Nephilim.

Richter-sama looked at her deeply before sighing.

"No, I must have misunderstood, you can sit back down".

"I understand, Lord Richter" Sandalphon sat back down and we continued our dinner, but... my confusion remained and I'd question master about this later.
