Side Mission Pt.3
Sang-Je swiftly slashes and tears through the swarm of giant centipedes with ease however there was too many of them. The more he killed the more kept coming. It was like an endless infestation of monstrous insects.
'Damn these the little bastards keep on spawning there has to be the dungeon boss somewhere nearby. If I kill the boss I clear the dungeon,' Sang-Je spins around his dagger and slowly raises it above his bloody face.
Amongst the endless swarm of centipede monsters there was one centipede that had wings and was much bigger than the rest of the swarm.
Sang-Je had quickly found the boss with his sharp eyes and reflexes. He indeed was a warrior incarnate. His kingly senses awakened.
'There you are. You know the saying the bigger they are the harder they fall,' Sang-Je jumps high in the air and goes to stab the centipede's brain to give it a quick death.
Suddenly the boss centipede's greenish eyes glowed and it commanded its swarm to attack Sang-Je.
"Out of my way insects!" Sang-Je cuts off most the giant centipedes heads and greenish splatters onto his face.
One giant centipede managed to slash away Sang-Je's tungsten dagger.
'Shit! The boss was after my dagger! It sent all of its swarm to disarm me! Insects may be dumb creatures but they always work in group and that boss insect is actually smarter than it looks,' Sang-Je looked at his bloody hand. More giant centipedes surround Sang-Je. He was outnumbered.
"Sang-Je!" Screams out Ju-Hee as she quickly heals Sang-Je's wounded hand she runs towards and holds his hands to heel his wounds. Her mana travels out from hands and transfers into Sang-Je's bloody hand. His wounds were quickly healed (A/N:The power of hand-holding).
"Don't worry brother I got your back!" Jin-Woo jumps in to help to his brother and takes out a powerful high-ranked sword and slashes at the monstrous centipedes but he is overwhelmed as well, all of the bugs stab Jin-Woo in stomach and he coughs out blood and rolls around on the rocky ground. He was too weak to fight against high ranked monsters which were probably Rank-C. Even with a powerful A-Rank sword he was no match for the strong and vicious bloodthirsty monster centipedes. A hunter has to be strong in order to fully use high rank weapons, in this case the stronger you are the stronger your weapon is when you use it. It was clear that Jin-Woo had no idea on how to control or use such a powerful knight sword.
'That bastard hunter lied to us. This is not a E-rank dungeon. It is clearly a C-rank. I am going to make that bastard hunter pay when I get out of here and not just money,' Sang-Je angrily clenched his fist.
"Oh no! Jin-Woo!" Ju-Hee quickly heals Jin-Woo grave wounds, "Dammit I am tired of being so weak!" He angrily screams out.
"Give me that," Sang-Jee takes his Jin-Woo's powerful sword and slashes more monster insects that were about to kill Jin-Woo and Ju-Hee. With one slash of the knight sword he had cut off 10 centipede monster heads. Tons of greenish insect blood splatters onto Ju-Hee and Jin-Woo faces. He had saved both of them. "Thank you Sang-Je," Ju-Hee said with a blushed cute face as Sang-Jee holds up her petite body with one hand. He then places her far away from the monster insects and cooly places the powerful knight sword on top of his shoulder, "I like this sword"
"Now I have a dungeon boss to kill. Stand back and watch," Sang-Je golden eyes started to glow and so did the knight sword he was holding. His power was about to be revealed!
