Arrival.

<The Lavellan clan travels in the Free Marches between the territorial boundaries of the city-states to avoid being attacked by humans, who will be less inclined to attack the Dalish out of fear of accidentally instigating one of their neighbours by infringing on their territory. Like other Dalish clans, they maintain their religious and cultural views despite the Chantry criminalizing the elven faith.

Sometime following 9:40 Dragon the clan's Keeper observed that a Chantry conclave, seeking to put an end to the Mage-Templar War, would impact not just the future of the Dalish, but of all elves. To this end she resolved to spy on the event, sending either her First, or a hunter. After a cataclysmic event, they ended up becoming the Inquisitor, leader of the reformed Inquisition.>

A smile came to the face of the young Elven woman as she read the note in front of her, her mind focusing on the end of the note, the tale of how her sister rose up to fight for the world against the corrupt mage always reminded her of the potential all elves had. Hers was no less than her sister, Teriani Lavellan, Teri to her friends, had mastered the path of the Arcane Warrior at a young age.

Her proficiency in nature magic is the best the Clan Keeper (Leader) had ever seen, with the two combined she was the match of any enemies her clan had faced, beating back slavers as well as Human hunting parties with ease.

As she got older the young Elf started to visit the Fade, developing a keen connection with the dream world, slaying demons with ease, increasing her connection with magic drastically. in her life, everything had gone her way until one fateful night.

<Emerald Glave, shortly after the Inquisition's victory, Teri's pov>

"So this fade rift just appeared out of nowhere? I thought my sister sealed the main rift, making this extremely unlikely to happen."

I said to my companion, the second in command of my battalion and my most trusted aide, Eve, we had fought together across my sister's crusade to save the world. She got a fallen God as a lover and I got Eve, I'm happier with my choice, to be honest, Solas is a scumbag.

Eve simply nodded her head, she didn't make much noise, not until the day turned to night anyways, stoic and well prepared for anything that is Eve. A former templar that had tried to force me to join the circle, as you can guess, she failed.

*Rahhhhhh*

A demon's screech drew down to the green tainted pond where the rift now resided. simple demons awaited me there, nothing major, nothing that I hadn't beaten with ease before. The clean up of the rift is where things started to go wrong, usually, after we beat the demons, the rift will close, waiting for my sister to seal it permanently however, this rift began to fluctuate massively.

Before myself or Eve could react, two tendrils ripped through the rift, grabbing us, pulling us through to the other side.

<6 hours later, Unknown, Teri Pov>

'Shit, Fuck, my head kills.'

I tried to move my hand to my head only for it to be slammed back into the wall, it seems like I'm being chained down. Not my usual preference but we move.

Looking around I notice Eve chained to the other side of the room, her body was covered in cuts and bruises, a deep rage began to bubble within me. This was bad for everyone involved, my magic can get a little.... spicey when I'm annoyed.

A hooded man? Came into the room, "I see you are awake, now tell me what are you? Why did you appear in my court? Why are your ears elongated?"

I could feel, my mana was slowly going beserk, my emotions were being channelled to draw more power, my hands phased out of existence (An arcane warrior skill), slipping through the shackles and grabbing the man by the throat. Startled the man tried to attack however my body ignited in flame, my eyes turned a deep orange as I stared into his soul.

"Who are you and who is your master?"

The man fainted, useless waste of space. Throwing him to the floor, I took a deep breath and took control of my mana once more. Using some of the flames, I burnt the shackles holding Eve in place, before turning around and burning the man alive, he awoke and his screams were something else.

"Stay behind me Eve until we can find you some armour or a weapon to use."

Times like this I was glad I'm a mage, my very existence is a weapon, something I can use to defend myself. Eve nodded her head as we made our way out of the estate, I had killed quite a few more guards until we found ourselves at a courtyard, a battle happening below us.

A young woman and a smaller girl stood in the centre of the courtyard, the young girl looked confused while a still rage had consumed the woman, her cat-like features made her stand out.

*Clonk*

I turned my head to look at Eve, she had just hit my head with her hand.

"I have a weapon and armour, lets's join the battle"

Short and to the point, Eve in a nutshell.

I leapt into the battle. flames surrounding my body once more, the fire whipped in all directions, consuming whoever was stupid enough to approach me. Eve did typical boring Templar stuff, smashing skulls with swords while dispelling any spell that came at her...
