"Yes, I was reincarnated by God.", I told her.

"Interesting. You help me with something.", she ordered me more than asked.

I acted like I didn't catch this though. "You want my help, with what?", I asked.

"I need Great Red dead. You will help me.", she told me.

'This may backfire but I don't take orders from anyone.', I thought to myself. "I don't have any qualms against Great Red. Why would I kill him? ", I asked her. She looked at me with a tilted head confused.

"Strange, no one has said no to me before.", she said with still a confused look.

"Well, I don't like taking orders from people.", I told her.

"I want your help. Is there a way for me to get your help?", Ophis asked.

I thought about it for a moment and honestly had nothing I would want. I can obtain almost anything myself.

"I don't need anything, to be honest.", I told her.

"What about more power?", she asked me. "If you help me I'll grant you power.", she told me.

"I can obtain power myself. However, answer this question. How were you here when I showed up?", I asked her, curious because time was meant to be frozen.

"Time doesn't affect me. I felt something from this location freeze time and I waited here," She told me.

"How about a deal, Ophis. I kill Great Red for you, however, you do one request for me.", I told her.

"What deal?", she asked me.

"I have a daughter. I can't always protect her. If you can protect her for me I will kill Great Red for you.", I told her.

She looked at me curiously because it was a simple request for her. "You want me to be her babysitter?", she asked me.

"I more just want her to be protected you can call yourself whatever you want.", I told her.

"I'm going to make many enemies and most of them won't be able to hurt me so they will go for people close to me. People will think twice about it if the Dragon God Ophis was watching her.", I told her.

"You are not strong enough to fight Great Red.", she told me.

"I know I'm not right now but I have ways to grow in strength fast. You do this one request, I will kill Great Red.", I told her.

"You break your side of the deal, I'll kill you." she told me.

"Does that mean you accept?", I asked her.

"It is a deal.", she told me before. From his sleeves a bunch of snakes seem to crawl out.

The snakes went farther into my apartment and toward the location, Eri went off to. I got worried and almost went running after the snakes before my wrist was grabbed. I turned around and saw Ophis staring at me.

"They won't hurt her. They're protection for her. She won't even notice them.", she told me.

I trusted her because if she wanted my help she knew harming Eri wouldn't help. I looked toward the time and saw it was dinner time.

Looking toward Ophis I saw she was still staring at me. "Are you hungry? I need to make food for Eri so I need to make food.", I told her.

"I don't need food but I'll eat." she told me.

I went toward the kitchen with her following me. I didn't say anything and just let her be. I didn't have an idea what Eri or Ophis would want so I decided to make several dishes. I even made some cookies as dessert.

I laid the food out on the table and called for Eri. She came running and saw the food and her eyes started sparkling. She ran to the table and I noticed that one of Ophis's snakes was resting on her shoulder. I looked toward Ophis and she was just staring at the cookies.

'The snake must be invisible to Eri. I'm going to guess that Ophis is letting me see the snake.', I thought.

Eri and Ophis started eating the food and I joined them. Ophis mainly had cookies on her plate but she did have some other foods. Watching her eat I noticed that each time she took a bite her eyes seemed to glow before turning soulless for a moment.

I woke up and found both Eri and Ophis sleeping with me. I smiled and rubbed Eri's head not waking her. I started trying to slide out of bed but Ophis grabbed my hand. I was confused but then she put it on her head. I figured she wanted a head pat and gave her one. She seemed to get a thinking look on her face. I didn't say anything because I was more confused about this situation than anything.

I managed to get out of bed and got dressed for school. I made breakfast and went back to my room and woke up Eri and Ophis who went back to sleep. I regretted it almost instantly when I felt a lot of murderous intent from Ophis. It was suffocating that I almost passed out.

"I made breakfast for you two before I went to school.", I said quickly, hoping to calm Ophis down. After I finished those words the intent vanished instantly.

They both got up and went and ate breakfast. As soon as they left the room I collapsed on my knees.

'That power was insane. I need to remember not to make her mad like that again.', I thought to myself however Ddraig heard.

'Partner I don't know how you managed to survive this long with Ophis. You have done many disrespectful things and Ophis hasn't killed you yet. Be more careful or she may not let you live any longer.', Ddraig told me. I shook the fear off and went out to them.
