"Let's brawl bone boy!" Shouting excitedly the spear of Marco soared through the air, the purple flames coating it destabilizing Hades' magic merely by existing. A blow from him wouldn't be fatal but it may as well be with those purple flames.
"Faust." Hades commanded, the earth splitting before him as pink mist covered the battlefield in an instant. It was so thick it was impossible to see through and sticky enough that it practically clung to their flesh but it vanished as quickly as it came.
Dimensional Lost, the absolute shield that teleported not only all attacks away harmlessly but also their creators. Hades wasn't foolish, he knew the battle wasn't in his favor from the very beginning and thus he divided and would soon conquer.
"You liked me this much, bone boy? Sorry, I'm not into bones." Marco tauntingly spoke, his smirk irritating even the always calm God of Death. However, ignoring his rising anger, Hades merely tapped his staff on the air as though it were solid, a ripple spreading throughout the area.
It was a simple spell that would simply make it extraordinarily difficult to enter or exit. It wasn't impossible to escape but when used by somebody like him even a basic spell was dangerous. It would take minutes for them to break the spell and they didn't have that luxury.
"Cease your chatter. Fight me and be done with it." Hades declared, the devil and his master's lizards preparing for combat. Even for somebody like him, it would be troublesome but he was confident he would win. Fate was on his side. It had to be.

In another location, Dulio Gesualdo and Tobin Ikuse weren't have quite as much of a fun time as Marco's side of the battlefield. Beams of light shot from all angels, monsters born from shadows and fear arose from the earth, and purple mist made it difficult for them to do anything.
"Any ideas in that empty head of yours?" Tobio inquired with a playful smirk, the scythe in his hand shooting forward as a wave of pitch black energy devoured the monsters. The situation was dangerous which is exactly why he resorted to humor. If he was going to die, he wanted to die laughing!
"Afraid not. Hades wasn't as nice as I had hoped. Still, I suppose it could be worse." Dulio replied with an optimistic smile, a wave of golden lightning and wind blocking the fist of a particularly large onslaught of holy light before flying forward and crushing more monsters.
Their opponents were Cao Cao, Leonardo, and George Faust or what remained of them at the very least. Their bodies had remained mostly the same except for their now vampiric level of pale skin.
Their souls had been forcefully contained in their bodies allowing for a dissonance between flesh and spirit but they moved like it didn't affect them at all. Why? Because their mental inhibitors had been turned off and their soul was consuming itself as fuel.
If there was an upside it was that. With that little factoid, it meant they'd only have to stall and their opponents would die of exhaustion. But, they didn't exactly have the time. They were fighting some of the more powerful foes but as long as Hades wasn't ganged up on they had no confidence in victory.
"Dulio. I'm going to kill Leonardo." Tobio abruptly declared, the dog by his side barking in agreement. As it stood now, Leonardo was their biggest wall. Cao Cao didn't reveal himself for reasons they couldn't understand and George was a nonissue so it'd be best to take out the army maker.
"Painlessly, please. That child deserves a peaceful departure." Dulio requested, hardly perturbed by the ease with which Tobio spoke of murder but still frowning at the death of a child. Nodding his head resolutely, Tobio's body shifted and morphed.
"Behowlest the slaying of thousands of mortals and principals." Tobio began his chant, shadows all around the room warping, dancing, crying out in glee as they rose from the very ground they inhabited. Dark blades coated in cursed flame had risen from the shadows.
A golden barrier covered them, light itself gathering around and surrounding both Dulio and Tobio in a pillar of light so thick that not even the Holy Spear could pierce it easily. The light was so bright it illuminated even the depths of the purple mist and dispelled even the sharpest blades.
"𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫: 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐬 𝐓𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐞 𝐋𝐲𝐤𝐚𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐭 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐋𝐚𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐩𝐬." Finishing his chant Tobio was no longer a man. Pitch black fur made of shadows covered his large body, his canine body covered in pitch black flames more cursed than anything else.
But the brightest light created the darkest shadows and Tobio was the king of shadows. Time came to a crawl in the Slash/Dog's eyes as he ran, his body enhanced with so much power that it felt as though he could beat ten of his previous selves with ease.
Damian's 'training' had focused solely on their usage of their sacred gear so even though their bodies remained physically the same they could utilize power dozens of if not hundreds of times stronger than their previous selves.
Arriving before his target in the blink of an eye Tobio's arm swung down like the executioner's blade toward the small and decrepit form of Leonardo the owner of the sacred gear Annihilation Maker. In a single flash of a black blur, the boy's body was cut in two.
Time returned to normal as Tobio escaped the domain, his exhaustion setting just as the corpse of Leonardo once again fell to the ground dead but this time for real. But, even with that accomplishment, Tobio didn't have time to relax.
Jumping out of the way Tobio was met with the very strange face of Cao Cao. Dark blood leaked from all over his body as strange black liquid pulsated in his flesh. His hands were badly burned, their form reminiscent of charcoal and not human skin.
And yet the black pulsating energy healed it all in an instant. For a moment Tobio thought Dulio had somehow managed to get a hit in while he wasn't looking but then he saw the Spear of the Setting Sun shiver. It was rejecting him.
"TOBIO!" Abruptly shouting Dulio quickly conjured a barrier before the Slash/Dog, the golden barrier formed of so many elements that Tobio wouldn't even imagine it be hurt in normal circumstances. But this… this wasn't normal.
Tobio didn't need Dulio's warning, no nobody in this world would. Everybody in this realm had certainly felt the power emerging from the spear, the holy light even lashing out at a human like him despite having no desire to. The Holy Spear was being corrupted by Death.
Pure white light emerged from the spear as the realm was turned into a realm of pure white, a scorching heat cracking the barrier before the attack had even begun. Gathering around the tip of the spear the light was horrifying.
Hurriedly conjuring more and more defenses Dulio approached, tightening the shield until they were so close they were practically embracing. Slowly moving Cao Cao took a single, sloppy step forward as the tip of his spear moved forward.
And then, an explosion ravaged the battlefield.
