DxD | Child of Ira

Reincarnation was a treasured dream for many people and I had been lucky enough to receive it. I was granted a wonderful family, plenty of wealth, and the blessing of magic but everything came at a cost. In this case, it was the intrinsic danger of the world where gods roamed freely and myth was merely a forgotten truth. I had been reborn in Highschool DxD. **** If you enjoy my work you can support me on patre*on.com/TrapOverlord for up to 12 chapters ahead.

Chapter 112

Unlike his partner, the Son of Storms was not one to shy away from danger. Even as blood dripped from his lips and his organs screamed at him in protest he took a step forward. And that single step was all he needed.

Practically teleporting behind the Titan King the Son of Storm's leg swung through the air like a whip, the lightning coiled around his body popping the air repeatedly. Time was an almost omnipotent force so the Son of Storms would defeat Chronos before he could even use it.

He felt his leg hit something heavy, a familiar stinging pain assaulting his senses as his opponent flew away. The Son of Storms was only twelve years old and his body could not handle the immense divinity running through his veins and it had only grown worse after becoming a devil.

Ultimately, his devil constitution was what was keeping him alive in the first place but it was also his greatest prison. He was on a time limit with his body hanging on the balance. He either wins or his opponent lasts long enough that he defeats himself.

Cracking his jaw back in place Chronos was damaged for all of a few seconds, his wounds retreating back into his flesh as though they were a mirage all along. Smirking arrogantly at the two Chronos was content with taking his time to enjoy the battle.

Ignoring the horrible pain attacking his senses Gasper spread darkness from within him, the ominous cloud of devouring darkness spreading as far as the eyes could see in less than a second. In this space, Gasper was king.

"…!" Blood shot from Gasper's lips at the simple action, his regeneration delayed even further, but he once more ignored it as best he could. Beasts of darkness in the shape of bats and wolves manifested from the dark cloud, their pinkish eyes locked onto Chronos alone.

All of their eyes glowed simultaneously as Chronos found it difficult to move for a split second, a split second that the Son of Storms was more than willing to take advantage of. Shooting forward once more his fist flew through the air while his leg wrapped around his opponent's.

Pulling his leg forward the Titan King stumbled forward ever so slightly before the lightning coated fist struck him. Stumbling back only a few inches due to the tight wrap the child had around his leg Chronos could only endure the flurry of punches landing on his form.

Every strike burnt his body, the divinity of storms ravaging his body and battling against the energies of death that made him up. With every second that passed the Titan King's durable body was destroyed more and more from the inside out.

And Gasper was not silent either. Wisps of black smoke surrounded Chronos' form tightly, his arms and legs bound together so tightly that not even a monster like the Titan King should be able to escape easily.

"Have you had your fun?" It was a shockingly long time before the two realized exactly what had happened, a few dozen punches from the Son of Storms landing directly on Gasper while Chronos stood behind them unharmed.

It was a fairly simple thing actually. All Chronos had to do to avoid the onslaught of damage and place his opponents in that dreaded position was find the desired timeline. It was a little harder with divinity and Balor involved but nothing the King of Titans couldn't handle with ease.

The shadows surrounding them faded away to half their size as Gasper fell to his knees, his hands clutching his chest which was becoming a vile shade of purple with black burn marks covering his skin.

Disregarding his guilt for a moment the Son of Storms looked at seriously. Spitting out his gum the Son of Storms rummaged in his pockets, something the King of Titans was more than happy to allow.

"Hey, Vampire. I'm Shinku Arashi, the son of Susanno. What's your name?" It was an inopportune moment for such a question which led to Gasper looking at him oddly for a few moments before he choked out a reply.

"G-Gasper Vladi." Shakily rising to his feet as he spoke Gasper could tell things were approaching their climax. It wasn't time to hold back any longer nor was it time to worry about Hades. If they couldn't defeat Chronos, they'd have another monster to fight anyway.

"We're going to kick his ass, Gasper." Arashi's words were confident and the smirk on his face was downright feral as he pulled an electric blue ball of lightning out of his pocket. It was lightning personified, captured, and condensed into the miracle it was.

"Yeah!" Cheering with unnatural enthusiasm Gasper's voice was twisted and tainted as his body shifted and morphed. The darkness that surrounded them had been pulled forward as though sucked into a black hole, a monster of darkness and abyss manifesting where Gasper stood.

He was five meters tall and his form resembled that of some sort of accursed dragon. Hundreds of red eyes covered his body and mouths of all kinds adorned his form. He was a monstrosity, an accursed being, he was the incarnation of Balor. For these few minutes, the two had become one single being.

During his training with Damian, there were quite a few things that Gasper learned about his sacred gear, some that he wished he didn't know as well… But ultimately, it was a good experience if it meant he could protect his family!

Smirking in infinite amusement Arashi devoured the elixir of thunder, his body instantly expelling steam as even more divinity ravaged his innards. However, the pain was insignificant when compared to the immense boost it gave him.

The blue lightning dancing around his body had been replaced by that of pure purple, a more 'pure' type of lightning in his bloodline. His body took on a purple glow and his eyes practically oozed divinity. This was his ultimate state, the Rumble Ball state.

He could condense a single one of these Rumble Balls over a multi month period and it acted as a battery for him to draw from. It was his divine power condensed so all it did was enhance him however his body still couldn't handle it. The divine power of Susanno was too strong for a child no matter how talented they were.

Both Arashi and Gasper were on strict time limits, their training ineffective in removing this time limit and restriction, but that was enough. They would have more than enough time to rest and recuperate after killing Hades.

"That's more like it!" Smirking like an arrogant fool Chronos was beyond excited to fight them, a sentiment shared by Arashi and GasBalor.
