Chapter 69 Report

*Knock*

I groaned at the sound of someone, Synthia and the others obviously, knocking on my door. I walked down the stairs yawning as I went and opened the door.

"Colin, good to see that you've recovered." Synthia said. I was currently in my human form and I was still wearing my mostly destroyed pants.

"Do you guys mind if I go upstairs and take a bath?" I said and immediately walked upstairs not waiting for a response.

"And a change of clothes would be much appreciated as well." Synthia shouted

I took a nice, long cold bath and put on some fresh new clothes. Looking out the window, I could see the night sky and I realized that Alice and I had slept for an entire day. This made me worry a bit because even with such the severe reduction in DP I shouldn't have slept so long. But I was more worried about Alice who was severely burned by the sun and also had low DP as well. Before going downstairs I checked Alice's room and made sure she was breathing and checked her status as well to make sure that her LP was at a safe amount and even though it wasn't full it was at a safe amount.

"Okay then so what do you want to talk about?" I asked Synthia, knowing full well what she wanted to talk about.

"I want to know the full details of what happened inside the forest and don't spare anything no matter how irrelevant it may seem." Synthia said

"Ok, I unlocked a trait that allowed me to hide my aura a few hours after we talked and then that night Alice and I entered the forest to search for the imp's base. Alice and I lost track of each other due to both of us cloaking our aura." I said

"Amateur." Kirt said with a smirk but I ignored him.

"Anyway while I was looking for Alice and the imp's base, I encountered hundreds of demonic beasts killing each other in the forest." I said and I was interrupted by Claire.

"How is that relevant?" She asked

"I thought it was interesting back then. If demonic beasts were killing each other in the hundreds every night in addition to the imps hunting them down for food, I presume they are, then how are they sustaining their numbers. Even if we managed to get rid of the imps it's only a matter of time before something else comes to kill us." I said and even though I wasn't thinking about that st the time now that I said it out loud I couldn't help but think about it more. Even if we kill the imps more demons will just come for us eventually.

"That is actually something to worry about. When beasts are demonized all of their physical attributes and body functions are enhanced so that means they are reproducing faster than normal. But thankfully for us all the beasts offspring will be born at tier 1." Synthia said

"Ok then after observing them for awhile I focused my attention on something els, the trees." I said and then looked at Claire and spoke again.

"And before you ask, the reason I started focusing on the trees is because I could see demonic energy flowing through them like veins and it made me wonder. If demon miasma was doing this to trees, animals and people what else on the planet has changed or more importantly will change in the future. And then I realized something else....." I said building up the suspense.

"The seas and oceans must be a blood bath right now. Imagine what an entire ocean full of demonic sharks would look like." I said and I saw the four saints face darken while Synthia just looked at us confused.

"What do you mean?" She asked

" I forgot you're not from Earth. The seas and oceans cover like 60-70% of the planet so there are a couple million to a billion fishes inside so imagine all of them being demonized." I said and I could instantly see her face darken. She had a very vivid imagination.

"Either way, after that..."
