Chapter 5 Holy Elders
Lucifer flew through the skies of Celeste while admiring the buildings and structures he passed by. The city of Celeste spanned many kilometers but the amount of Angels didn't justify this amount of space. Compared to humans who numbered in the millions, there were less than a thousand Angels residing in heaven, this was due to most of the Angels uninterested in such things and more interested in roaming the realms. Although Earth was mostly explored, the same couldn't be said for heaven, heaven was a realm several times larger than Earth and there were also the holy beasts that roamed the realm. These beasts could manipulate Holy energy to a terrifying degree, and although they are peaceful by nature, they will attack or even kill any Angel that dared to provoke it. A tier 6 holy beast once managed to escape heaven and enter the realm of Earth, it had destroyed an entire human kingdom before the Angel's managed to kill it, and even now it's corpse still remained in the human realm.
Lucifer flew towards the largest building in the city, that was located at it's center, the celestial castle. This castle was majestic even when compared to the rest of the city, it was snow white in colour and it had a golden cloud above it that constantly rained golden snow. It resembled a medieval castle and it was large enough to be seen from kilometers away but for a sacred angel like Lucifer, it took him only a few minutes to arrive and he would have only took him a few seconds if he flew at full speed. Lucifer arrived at the castles massive doors and took a deep breath before entering, the doors opened by themselves allowing him entry. Inside, he saw massive stairs that led to hundreds of doors and he couldn't help but sigh as he knew he couldn't fly to his destination.
"I seek an audience with the Holy Elders!!" Lucifer shouted and his voice echoed all over the castle. Looking at the hundreds of different doors carefully, he waited and a few minutes later, one of the doors glowed golden indicating which one to enter. Hesitating for a few seconds, Lucifers body started to glow a strong golden colour and his body started to change. Soon he growed to become over 5 meters tall and each of his six wings growled to become over four meters tall, almost touching the ground. His red hair grew until it reached the middle of his back, his skin became as white as a sheet of paper and his irises glowed a blinding golden colour and a large golden ring that hummed quietly and seemed to contain a massive amount of power appeared behind him. This was the true form of a sacred Angelic, a terrifying form that demanded both fear and respect from everyone.
Lucifer slowly ascended the stairs towards the glowing door while contemplating how he was going to explain to the Holy Elders his great find. There were three Holy Elders and they were the oldest known Angels, around a thousand years old, which made them responsible for creating certain rules the Angels had to follow to keep there society going. There weren't really many rules governing Angel society, which made it all the more important to follow them. One such rules was to not kill humans, compared to Angels, humans were incredibly fragile and so it was incredibly easy for them to kill them by accident but Angels have been warned to avoid such an outcome or face punishments. There was also a law against human and Angelic relationships, Angels have been known to fall in love with humans but due to concerns about the humans safety, Angel's have to turn them into Angel(Lesser) before they are permitted to have a relationship.
'Either way, they'll probably try to read my mind to verify my claim and then they'll ask me to interrogate him. After that, I'm not sure, hopefully they allow me to explore this new realm.' Lucifer thought excitedly as he stood before the door, he stood before the door and took a deep breath before pushing it open and entering.
