Chapter 3 : The Lost Took Away Who Lost

Last thing that I remembered last night was the perns burnt to crisp and died. And now, how did I even end up around a man's arm. Is he a kidnapper? Or perhaps he was trying to rescue me. Hmm..

It's really cool that this guy can jump from tree to tree while carrying me like a monkey. It makes me feels like I'm flying.

"Oh, so you're awake already? " asked the guy in the hood.

"Where am I? Where are you going to take me?" I asked

"You discovered something that people shouldn't know. You think I'd let you go just like that? I'm taking you to our camp execution ground." He replied.

"WAIT, NO NO!!" I screamed.

I started to struggle and kept hitting the guy's arm try to escape while crying for help.

"HELP, HELP! THIS GUY TRYING TO KILL ME."

"Too bad you brat we're in the middle of the woods nobody can hear you. " the guy in the hood replied.

"SHUT UP! " I shout at him abd bite his hand.

"ARGH! " the guy accidentally fall onto the ground.

When we falled, I quickly stand up and try to run away.

"Tch! this shitty brat. " the guy smack my neck with his heels with force causing me to faint.

When I woke up I'm at somewhere like a small village. there's a lot of people around me. When I look up to my kidnapper turns out he is the old man who disappear at my hangout spot. Well I guess messed up so bad.

"HELP! HELP! THIS GUY IS TRYING TO KILL ME! " I screamed hoping people around me will lend a hand. But they didn't. They laughed instead.

"Hahaha, this brat. He think we would help him after he used the Emblem of Vulcan."

Ember of Vulcan? What is that? What?

"Ratri who is that? " asked one of the guy in the crowd. He also doesn't have an arm like this old guy.

"He used the Emblem of Vulcan. We have to kill him. " he replied.

The guy approach me and said: "Hey kid, do you want to know why we lost an arm? It's all because of that incident in the mine. We were taken away by these guy and our arm got chopped off. We will be living like hell if we don't either choose to get our arm chopped off or get execute. We also forced to stay here so the information about the emblem safe and secret. "

"Tch, this brat. My shift almost finished when I was on the way to come here to inform information about the cave so I can rest and now you give me trouble ." That old man blabbered.

I was tied on a wood pillar at the middle of empty land where there is a lot of bloodstain. There's a a huge guy in front me holding an axe.

"Now kid, choose kill or lose an arm. In 3 seconds. " he asked

"1...2...3. I count that as a kill. Remember dead man tells no tale. " that guy lift his axe up.

I couldn't answer I don't want to die. I don't want to lost my arm either.

"STOP!"

Everyone who were watching were complaining then surprised and silence because the person who told them to stops is their leader.

Their leader approach me and slapped me in the face.

"Kid what is your name?" He asked

"Ayden."

"Ayden, my name is Apollo. I was surprised that Ratri told me you can control the fire from your arm."

Apollo one of the warrior got offer to become King of Agnishika but he turns the offer down. And he disappear after elemental war when we were attacked by Hiawatha country that caused a lot of our warrior died. Everyone thought he was also one of the warrior who died. But the truth is..

"Kid, it was surprising that you can use that emblem power,be my successor. Continue my dream but don't be like me. A failure who run away from battlefield." He said

I was relieve because I survive and surprise he want me to be his successor. From that day, my living became just like old man Ratri said. "Hell".
