CH 3: J Won Highschool

The day has dawned and the layer covering the atmosphere had a brilliant light that flickered and torched the surfaces of Earth. As the colossal, vast blazing ball of fire, hovered its way above the horizon to the summit of skies. Piercing its lucid sunlight to the people which made their faces plastered with an eerie glow and shimmering poise. The birds were soaring high with so much zeal and zest that they could bring happiness during the saddest days.

Jinwoo awoke with a stretch as he puffed his chest forward to bend his back inwardly before twisting his waist left and right to feel and hear the satisfying crack, as the recessive feeling of grogginess and heaviness began to disappear. He sat up with an arm supporting his body as he lazily flipped the blanket off his legs, and slid off the bed.

It was 6:30 AM and Jinwoo did his routine before school started at 8 o'clock. Since he couldn't use 'Shadow Exchange' anymore, he needed to cook up a schedule that fits his routine, so that he wouldn't be late for school. He's after all, a 17 years old teen who must finish school before he can do whatever he wants. Such as visiting the Go-Gunhee of this world and befriending him again. Although, meeting him won't be a walk in the park (For most people).

Go Gunhee is the chairman of one of Korea's famous entertainment companies, HYBE, as well as the vice-president of Samsung, and S-Rank Hunter Sung Jinwoo will return with a nuclear bomb as he shatters the mind and laws of physics with his knowledge and skills of a cyber-pre-apocalyptic world. With years of experience in business, pop culture, martial arts, science, and technology.

When he finished his 100 pull-ups, he went straight to the showers, quickly got dressed, packed his things, looked himself in the mirror, and wondered if he should brush his messy long hair. Then decided not to. When he checked the clock above his bed, it was 7:45.

His eyes widened.

He rushed to the dinner table and realized Jin-ah was gone. His mother stood at the kitchen sink and his father just sat at the dinner table with a smug look.

He knew, his mother...was going to murder him if he didn't quicken his tap dancing.

He absent-mindedly took the half-eaten sandwich from Jin-Ah's plate, put it in his mouth, and ran like the wind. He didn't want to stay there any longer as he knew that his mother is inches away from taking the spotlessly clean frying pan on the dish rack.

As he marathons the busy yet quiet streets of Seoul with swift ease, he finally arrived at J Won Highschool, only to find the gates closed. He didn't waste any time, he rapidly ate the sandwich, then climbed over the fence, scramble up a tree, and hang down its barks before swinging himself up to the outdoor stairs that ascend to the top floor. He runs up to level five before darting back down to search for the teacher's office since he forgot to visit it.

He sprints down the halls, while effortlessly reading the labels that were slapped and screwed at the top of the door. He was searching endlessly for the teacher's office, and when he did, he sighed in relief, before plastering his face with a maskless expression when entering the room. He approached one of the teachers, who called out to him and assumed this was his homeroom teacher.

The man had tanned white skin and wore rectangular-shaped glasses that made his coal-black eyes slit sharper, along with his neatly tied shoulder-length black hair that made him look even more attractive. He seemed to be in his late 30s, going up to his 40s. Wore a simple white dress shirt that outlined his athletic, cyclist physique. A pair of black pants, a black belt, and shining black shoes.

"Transfer student Sung Jinwoo." his teacher said with his jaded eyes scanning Jinwoo up and down with an analytical expression. Judging him. Jinwoo was used to it, but that didn't mean he liked it. Considering the past this present Jinwoo had, it meant this teacher might be the same as his previous ignorant teacher. However, there is a possibility that he's wrong.

"Yes," Jinwoo replied, with his eyes dancing to the name stand that proudly rests at his desk. Chang-Min Yeong.

"Your late," Yeong said with narrowed and seething eyes yet if he looked closer he could see the cloaked orbs of pitifulness. 'Maybe I really did judge wrong.'

"I know, and I'm sorry." Jinwoo apologized sincerely. Yeong looks at him before sighing.

"Try not to act like a delinquent. It's a shameful thing for someone like you, who has a bright future ahead of you. Don't waste it away with acting tough. It won't do you any good." he said as he checked his records and reason for moving. He misunderstood him.

Jinwoo knew, just by looking at him, that he was being honest and sincerely worried for him. Thanks to a lie-detector skill he developed over the years of experience from being an E-Rank and S-Rank. A warm feeling suddenly invaded and mingled in his heart. Jinwoo was taken aback, as this only happens with people he's close to. 'Did he know him?' he thought. 'But this Jinwoo doesn't have any memory of him? Is it just my imagination?'

"Relax. I'll be good." Jinwoo said, trying to cover up his dilemmas. His teacher just glances at him with his brows held up high and his glasses sliding down his nose bridge. It is clear, that Yeong didn't believe him, but he let it slide.

"I'll take your word for it, but if you punched someone in the face, it better be out of self-defense or protecting someone," he said with a stern tone. Jinwoo smirks.

"No worries. I promise."

"Fashion department right?"

"Yep."

"Honestly, I expected you to pick the music department since you liked it so much. But, fashion is good too I guess." Yeong said as if he was trying to make a light conversion but it just came out wrong. "Whatever, none of my business." Upon saying that, Yeong could hear the little buzzing bees of ladies expressing their admiration for him. Gossiping to one another, on their phones, or outwardly saying it without any shame of how cute that was. He held back a sigh.

"Was me liking music on my records?"

"No, but your music scores are always the highest amongst the others."

"Oh." 'Well, I've always liked music. Especially, indie music helps calm my nerves. Surprisingly, this Jinwoo was also quite fond of music. He made songs of his own and sings well too. Guess, if I'm asked to sing on stage I could always steal his skills that are technically mine now, no? But, I have to give it to this man. My teacher knew our fondness for music, just by looking at our grades? He's quite perceptive.'

"Nice knowing you Jinwoo. Now go," he said, waving his hand at Jinwoo. Not even batting an eyelash as he is immersed in finishing his Word document.

"Alright," Jinwoo said with a chuckle, as he walked out the door. Until Yeong remembered that he was Jinwoo's substitute homeroom teacher for the next six months. He groans, and he immediately felt the piercing lustful stares from the majority of the young women. He feels disgusted. 'Ugh, humans...Seriously. I did not sign up for this.' he sighs.

"Wait! Sung Jinwoo," he shouts, and seconds later he could hear the thunderous jogged steps of Jinwoo.

"Yes, sensei?" he asked with evened breaths. Yeong stares at him for a while, with a look of surprise which quickly disappeared as he switched his perception to the big stack of files he's forced to bring.

"I'm coming with you since I'm your homeroom teacher," he said as he tucked some papers into his folders, bringing a big book with him, and a coffee mug.

"Let me bring the coffee for you."

"Oh? Not the big book that's twice the size of my folders?" he asked, with a raised brow. Jinwoo looked at him and grins widely.

"Yes." Yeong looked at him with a mix of disgust and disbelief. Scoffing and flipped his hair as he walked out the door. "Kids, these days."

"I can still help you with the mug?" Jinwoo asked as he raised his voice a bit, so his teacher could hear him. Jinwoo could also hear distant giggles and whispers from the twenty-something female co-workers talking about how cute the transfer is and hot Yeong is. Jinwoo was utterly confused but didn't care much.

"No. But if you don't follow me, you can go kiss your ass goodbye since you are directionally challenged, and because your teacher is me."

Yeong announced as he stood at the door, with an expressionless look, staring back at Jinwoo's own, expressionless face.

"How did you know I'm directionally challenged?" Yeong remained quiet for a bit before responding with carefully concealed confidence swaying in his gruff voice.

"Records and therapy sessions." Jinwoo looked at him with suspicion, but he brushed it off.

"I'll follow."

"Thought so."

[A/N: I know the teacher doesn't act like this because it's an OC. Pretend the previous teacher decided he had enough and this guy is the substitute. Jinwoo's mother is like Danny's mom but for the sake of some comedy and feels I did this. Feels will be in the next chap.]
