A Chad

In a desolated valley, surrounded by rocky outcrops. A golden glowing doorway could be seen to have materialized out of thin air.

"Vrooom, vrooom, psh!"

It spitted the four adventurers out like pinballs before disappearing as fast as it appeared. Shadow landed on his feet while Chad and Aoife grabbed onto each other and had also managed to stay standing.

Shadow spun his head around.

"Is everyone alright-"

He spotted a sliver-hair boy lying face first on the ground.

"Ah."

Chad and Aoife hearing Shadow's voice snapped out of their shock and released their grip on each other with slight red lingering on their face. On the other hand Dream pushed off the ground and stood up. He dusted himself off with an oddly nonchalant face and looked around.

"Wait, this is not adventurer school!?"

Before anyone else could react, Dream had crotched down with his hands running through his silver hair.

"F*ck I am in a S tiered-dungeon!"

Everyone:...This guy!

Not knowing to pity him or to be angry at him they chose to ignore him for now and started talking.

"I feel like I've calmed down." Said Aoife.

Chad nodded.

Perhaps it was pity or perhaps anger. Whatever it was, Dream's bizarre 180 attitude shift calmed everyone down.

Feeling a little strangely warm, Dream looked up into the sky. Upon doing so, he jumped up with a yelp.

"Look! We're in a SS-ranked dungeon!" He said, pointing up at the sky.

Up above two giant flaming balls could be seen hanging up in the sky.

"We are done for," Said Shadow who pulled out a dagger. "Might as well end it all now."

"Wait Shadow put down the dagger! You're way too important to die!" Chad yelled out in a panic.

Shadow: "Eh?"

Aoife also yelled. "If you die Dream's going to piss his pants and because you're the team carry we're all going to die!"

"Hmm that is water tight logic."

"Shut up!"

F*ck it! Girl or not. I ain't going to let that off! Aoife and Chad started grabbing at each other's hair.

Shadow lowered down his dagger and asked. "Hey Aoife, you said that if I die we will all die. Does that mean that if I live we might survive."

"Oh, yeah- hey stop clawing at me! I am talking here!"

Dream spoke up. "You mean we can survive a SS-ranked dungeon?"

To Dream the idea of survival seemed far-fetched. How could a rookie adventurer survive the hell known as a SS-tier dungeon? That said, upon hearing Aoife's bold claim of survival. He couldn't help but think of Myrril the founding hero. Dream may be a dungeon rookie, but at least he knew basic swordsmanship and went to adventuring school curiosity enter a f*cking glowing door!

Thinking of Myrril f*cks up. Dream suddenly felt at ease.

"Myrrill the founding hero? More like Myrril the f*cking hero! At least I told somebody where I was headed- no wait a second!" Dream train of thoughts suddenly caught on fire.

"Aoife, Shadow, and Chad! Did any of you see anybody in the hallway before we were teleported into the dungeon?"

The three of them paused and looked at each other.

...

"F*ck!"

The four of them sat down with their hands in their hair

"We really messed up."

"Hey Shadow. Still got that dagger?" Asked Dream.

With morals low the four of them sat in a depressed slump.

"Wait," Chad stood up. "Listen up everyone!"

Aoife and Dream looked up at him while Shadow slowly drew out his dagger before also looking up.

"If we continue on like this. We would be not be just f*cked up, but also hungry and cold when night falls!"

Dream shivered. He may be a noob, but at least he ate three meals a day! Hell he would sometimes wake up in the middle of the night and eat a snack or two or three or four… Anyways! He almost never went hungry! The possibility of it happening never even crossed his mind!

"So what you're saying is that we should at least find food if nothing else?" Questioned Shadow.

Chad replied. "Exactly! We may also want to find a shelter for the night. No one wants to sleep on the stone hard cold ground."

He pointed at the "stone hard cold ground."

"Yeah! No way in hell would I sleep here! Nor do I want to starve in the cold! I'll rather sooner die than do that!" Aoife exclaimed.

"Right! I propose that we go and search for food, shelter, or better yet find a village!"

Chad raised his right hand.

"All in favor, raise your hand!"

They all raised their hands in united harmony. Shaking their fist at the skies as if to say: "Not even the heavens could stop us now!"

They marched on out of the rock valley with Chad leading the way.

Soon they reached the end of the outcrop and entered a dark and narrow crevice. There Dream suddenly spoke up.

"Hey I've read that S tiered dungeons and above are self-contained worlds. Does that mean that there will be a varying level of monsters as opposed to normal dungeons with a single fixed difficulty?"

Chad and Shadow stayed silent with Aoife replying.

"Yeah I think you're about right. Honestly we don't know too much about S-tier dungeons and above. We've only dared to challenge D-tiered dungeons so far."

Shadow silently looked towards her.

Without any more discussion they eventually saw a small clearing with a forest in front. Upon seeing the bright glow of the sun they all ran forward. With Dream tripping over himself in the process.

"Agh."

Getting up quickly he ran towards the clearing. Feeling the glow of the sun again, he blinked as his eyes got used to the light.

He glanced at the back of the others who stood there quietly. Staring at something off into the distance. Walking up he asked.

"What's wrong?"

Standing beside them he took in the breathtaking view from the hill that they stood on.

"Look over there," said Aoife.

A village in the distance, could be seen going up in flame.

"Growlllllll."

Aoife ears flushed pink.

All in all it took them about forty minutes to get here including the time they spent complaining, but if you counted the time from Dream leaving the classroom to now. You'll find that for them it's been around eight hours without food.

"You hear that?" Asked Chad.

"That's the voice of our stomach's war cry! It's demanding meat and bread! Adventurers let's charge on for food!"

"FOR FOOOOOD!!" They screamed, drawing their swords and daggers.

They charged towards the burning village with reckless abandon.

Thus the foodie adventurers were born........
