Beginner's Village

Alex was a bit disappointed after seeing the second gift, the skill 'Intruder'. He had hoped for a sword like Excalibur or a high-level skill, but it was a skill used by thieves.

The strange woman scoffed when she saw the skill Intruder, but it didn't linger for long before she spoke, "Now you are ready to go to the Beginner's village, but before that, let me give you a little recap about the world you are going to enter."

She raised her hand, and the Map section opened in Alex's status window. She explained, "The green area is the Beginner's village, which is available for every new adventure, and the grey part is unexplored area. Once you explore that area, it will be shown in green."

"You can see many icons, the Gate-like structures on the map. Some are similar, while some are different. All those are Dungeons. Dungeons of different grades."

"Dungeons are of 9 grades, 1st grade is the lowest, while 9th grade is the highest. To enter a Dungeon, you have to join a guild or create your own guild. That's all you should know for now. If you have any questions, then ask."

Alex saw some Japanese shrine-like gates on the map, which were greyed out as they were uncharted territory. He pondered for a possible question he could ask, but he had nothing. He had started this game to escape reality, and he hadn't planned anything.

Still with a wide smile, he asked, "Are all the women in the game as beautiful and resourceful as you?" His eyes lingered on her heavy chest.

The strange woman glared at him with chilling eyes. "If there are no questions, then welcome to Elyria, dear otherworldly Adventurer."

With that, the white room turned dark, and Alex felt darkness all over him. "What's going on?" he asked.

The darkness enveloped Alex, and a chilling wind howled around him. He struggled to see, his senses overwhelmed by the sudden change. A moment later, a brilliant light illuminated his surroundings, revealing a quaint, medieval village.

He stood in the town square, surrounded by bustling villagers. The air was filled with the sounds of blacksmiths hammering metal, merchants haggling, and children laughing. A sense of wonder washed over Alex as he took in the vibrant scene.

He had arrived in the Beginner's Village, his first step into the vast world of Elyria. As he explored the village, he found many gamers like him, some with heavy equipment while others, like him, were casually dressed as villagers.

Mrs. Jane's son has wandered into the forest where many beasts lurk. She wants a brave adventurer to find her son.

[Village chief Farman's task]

The village chief is gathering strong warriors to help his men who have been trapped inside a mining cave. Brave warriors are needed to help.

Reward: Token for Acquiring a class, Village chief's secret.

[Blacksmith John's Task]

John is creating a masterpiece but lacks some materials. He wants a brave adventurer to find his desired material.

Reward: Grade one sword (Class Swordsman), Special item created by Blacksmith John.

Alex found the three tasks equally useful but decided to choose one later.

He looked down and then walked a few meters, initially limping as he adjusted to his new body. After a few more steps, he stopped limping. To test it further, he started running down the street, drawing curious glances from the villagers. "Another mad man has come," they whispered to each other.

Alex ignored the villagers, focused on his body. Suddenly, he collided with someone, and both of them fell to the ground.

"AHAAA, who was this, can't you see when you're on the streets?" the woman yelled at Alex.

Alex finally looked at the woman. He got up and offered her a hand, "Sorry, I wasn't paying attention." he apologized but she slapped his hand away and stood up herself.

The woman was in a hurry, so she gave him a stern, angry look and walked away. As she walked, Alex couldn't help but notice her swaying hips.

She was wearing a black dress, had short black hair, and a voluptuous figure. Alex couldn't take his eyes off her hips.

He felt his member hardening. "It's been half a year since I've... you know," he smiled, lost in thought as the woman disappeared into the crowd.

Then, suddenly, a man came from behind, "You also want her, right? An NPC married woman to serve you in bed."

The man was short and young, another player like Alex. "Well, it's not hard to get girls in this game, and you can even have your way with them, but everything has consequences," he said.

Alex looked at him suspiciously. "But who are you?" he asked. Being a former special mission soldier (SMS), Alex found the man's overly friendly demeanour suspicious.
