First Intruders (1)

The Bandits began to walk down the wooden steps as they entered inside of the giant tree. Looking down at the steps that were made from tree roots, Boff was becoming more and more certain that this was the home of elves at one time or another.

"Keep your guard up! There might be people living here" Boff said to no one in particular, not yet fully voicing his concerns.

The bandit in front of him gripped the scimitar he had as he pushed aside the vines in front of him, he paused for a moment as he gasped before he stepped through and the bandits all followed him having generally the same reaction.

"What are these?" The bandit said as he walked towards one of the glowing flowers that was inside of the room they were in. "They are surely worth a lot of money right?" he said as greed began to shine in his eyes.

They were inside of a decently sized room with a grass floor and brightly shining flowers, it was like a dream. They had never seen anything like it!

"No, they are worthless." Boff said as he shook his head still looking around before focusing at the other end of the room where there was a tunnel. "They will wilt as soon as you pick them, so let's leave them alone. Check out this tunnel over here".

Boff led them to the tunnel and looked through amazed at what was before him. It was a forest! There were trees and fauna everywhere!

They began to walk forward looking around at all the plants "Someone planted them all here? But how? This garden must be tens of years old!" Boff said.

"Boss, why do you think they planted trees here instead of magical plants?" One of the bandits said as he smacked a tree that was next to him.

The second his hand neared the tree a whip was heard as the bandit yelped "Ahhhh!". Boff turned to see a cyan colored vine had grabbed the bandits hand and dragged him away from their group.

"Shit! That's King's Tassel! Help him out quickly or he will die!" Boff said as he ran forward with his sword and began to hack at the vines, which were at this point covering the entirety of the upper half of the bandits body.

His muffled screams were faintly heard as they began to hack at the vines attempting to cut him loose. Their weapons, however, were not very good, just plain iron weapons of mediocre quality so they were barely able to make any progress.

Eventually Boff stopped swinging as he said "Enough step back. He is already dead. Don't get caught next" Boff stepped away from the vine getting out of its reach.

The bandits at this point were scared as they looked at each other in horror at what had just happened to their accomplice. "The effective range for a King's Tassel is only around 5 or 6 feet, stay out of that range and they cant harm you" Boff said as he eyed the cyan colored vine before again walking deeper into the forest.

"Boss, are we going deeper?" the driver from before gulped.

"Stupid of course we are going deeper! If there are plants like this then naturally that means there is something more valuable deeper inside. Plants like that can be taken care of by any E or D rank adventurer easily!" Boff said

They walked a bit farther even walking over a tiny creek as a bandit exclaimed "A statue?!"

Boss turned as his expression became grave looking towards the statue that was on a pedestal. It was a flying bee made out of polished white marble, a monster spawner!

"Fuck me! We are inside of a dungeon!" Boff said as he gulped. Naturally he had been in many dungeons before, but he always had dungeon guides before going inside of them, they were well explored before he ever entered them.

This dungeon however, was one that was undiscovered until now! It held untold dangers so he was naturally shitting his pants. Even the highest level dungeon he had been in was only of a D Rank, he was no professional.

As he said this he heard a buzzing sound and from above him. He looked to see a Giant Violet Bee flying right towards his face. He paled slightly as he slashed with his sword the bee fell to the ground before getting back up and charging at him again with its stinger aimed directly at him.

Boff quickly smacked it down to the floor again before stepping on it and impaling it with his sword ending its life.

"We need to leave!" Boff said but at this time he noticed his five remaining subordinates were scattering in all directions as they were trying to run from the bees that were chasing them.

"Idiots!" Boff yelled before he ignored them and ran back to where they came from. Running through the forest he paused as three Giant Violet Bees flew out of a tree in front of him. He could easily take down one, maybe two Violet Bees at a time but three? If just one stings him then he would be out of the fight!

Meanwhile one of the bandits had already been stung by a bee that was chasing him and his entire left leg was swelling increasingly fast! He limped as he ran periodically turning around to see where the bee that was chasing him was as he frantically tried to get away.

While his head was turned he tripped on a root that was in front of him and face planted. "Fuck" he cursed as he looked up only to see a cyan colored vine coming towards his face before his vision went dark.
