1. Deliveries in the Dungeon

In the depths of the Cavern of Chaos, where the air was thick with the scent of stale sweat and burnt goblin flesh, a party of adventurers—three burly warriors, a diminutive mage, and a rogue with a decidedly questionable sense of fashion—were engaged in a frenzied battle with a horde of goblins.

The goblins, who were not in the mood for a corporate takeover, squealed and flailed their tiny weapons. The adventurers, meanwhile, were focused on the fight, shouting battle cries and waving their swords around like they were trying to swat away invisible flies.

In this chaos, a certain out-of-character appears, Elliot ambles through the dungeon's dimly lit corridors. His delivery uniform, a patched-up apron with a name tag reading "Elliot's Errand Emporium," was far from the usual adventurer gear. Instead of a sword or shield, Elliot carried a large, enchanted satchel filled with various potions and magical trinkets.

As he rounded a corner, he stumbled upon a chaotic scene, Elliot cleared his throat loudly. "Ahem, excuse me! Potion delivery from Elliot's Errand Emporium!" he called out, trying to be heard over the clamor.

Everyone stops, even the goblins, an event never heard of nor seen before, a skinny kid with a backpack, no armor or weapons holding a package that looks to contain potions and smiling brightly.

One of the warriors, a hulking figure with a beard like a bramble bush, glanced at Elliot with a look of confusion and mild irritation. "Can't you see we're in the middle of a battle?"

"I can," Elliot replied, his tone surprisingly calm. "But I have potions for you. And a delivery man's gotta deliver." He stepped forward with exaggerated care, avoiding a particularly wild swing of a goblin's club.

He plopped down his satchel and began to rummage through it, pulling out a selection of brightly colored potions. "Alright, let's see... Healing Potion, Strength Elixir, and—ah, yes! Anti-Goblin Tonic."

The mage, a bespectacled figure with robes that seemed two sizes too big, squinted at Elliot. "Do you have any idea what's going on here? We're trying to fight for our lives!"

Elliot nodded, pouring a Healing Potion into the warrior's hands. "Sure, sure, but a signature for the delivery would be great or else I have to take these back, I am sorry We're using the new enchanted receipts. Very high-tech."

The rogue rolled her eyes and snatched a quill from her belt, signing a magical scroll with a flourish. "Hurry up, will you?"

"Thanks! I've got more deliveries to make, and I'm already running late," Elliot said as he neatly folded the scroll and tucked it away. He glanced at his wrist, where a fake watch with an "always late" setting ticked away. "Still thinking about what to have for dinner tonight. Maybe pizza? Or ramen? Decisions, decisions."

With the formalities complete, Elliot turned and began to leave, muttering to himself. "Seriously, it's always goblins with these dungeon deliveries. Ever wonder why no one just has a nice tea party in dungeons? Oh well, at least I get to meet interesting characters. And by 'interesting,' I mean 'struggling to survive.'"

As Elliot wandered back through the dungeon's winding paths, he talked aloud, addressing an invisible audience. "So, you might be wondering how I ended up in this predicament. Well, here it all started a few months ago when I was just an ordinary guy trying to get by in Aetheoven. But even before that, I was a normal delivery guy on a planet called Earth. unfortunately, Truck-kun struck again and well here I am in the lands of 'Mythara' in the country 'Virelia'. I didn't know anything about magic or weapons, so I had this brilliant idea—start a delivery service for magical items. Little did I know, entering dungeons would become a part of the job.

He paused, dodging a stray fireball from a passing mage who looked slightly frazzled. "Yep, that's right. I thought, 'Hey, how hard can it be to deliver potions and enchanted items?' Turns out, it's a bit more dangerous than I anticipated. And a lot more... well, weird."

Elliot continued, the dungeon's eerie glow casting strange shadows on his face. "There's a charm to it though. The adventure, the odd encounters, and the way people look at me like I'm some kind of lunatic. But hey, it pays the bills, and it's better than working a boring office job."

He rounded another corner, nearly tripping over a stray goblin's foot. "Anyway, that's a bit about me. I'm Elliot, the delivery guy with a knack for finding trouble. If you're lucky, you might see me delivering a potion to a dragon or dropping off a scroll at a cursed castle. Until then, it's back to the dungeon—delivery adventures await!"

Elliot stepped out of the dungeon's entrance, the cool night air a welcome change from the stuffy atmosphere inside. He checked his list of deliveries and sighed. "Alright, next stop: The Forgotten Forest. And after that... dinner."

With a determined nod and a skip in his step, Elliot set off into the night, ready to tackle his next delivery and perhaps, if he was lucky, find a decent place to eat.
