Chapter 69

There were tears flowing down the face of an elegant young lady.

She had pale blond hair and a slender neck.

The hot tears streaming down her cheek did not stop and heart-wrenching cry came out of her parted dry lips.

A hand shot forward to comfort her but she was so far away that she was impossible to reach.

A large, thick fog was surrounding her now and the man trying to reach her began to walk closer.

She was still farther away.

The man began to sprint.

She was not close to him.

A full run broke out and the man tried his best to reach her but she was slipping away; she was fading.

"No-"

There was a hoarse panting from the man and cold drops of sweat slid down his face, "No, no-"

"Come back!"

She didn't and the crying woman was disappearing.

"Come back, Clara!"

Adonis sat up on his couch with a jerk.

He was trembling something he very rarely did.
