Bishop Highwater reached the peak of fame in the gaming world. Having created Duelist online a virtual world where customization and upgrades were key in the game. He gave hope back to the gaming industry. After 8 long years of crappy game releases, he launched his own creation.

Duelist's creation began in 2020 when Bishop was only 15 years old. After 6 long years of hard work and story design, Bishop was ready to make his game come to life. With the funds provided to him by his father, the Alpha version of the game released in 2028.

No one thought anything of the game at first, but after a week in Alpha, it quickly became a hit. The hype train for the game began and people constantly jumped on board.

With the vast amount of resources he had at hand and a team he hand-picked, it was not long before Duelist went into Closed beta in 2030. Millions of players signed up for the closed beta, yet only a handful were able to get in. Bishop allowed them to stream their experience in beta while reporting any bugs or glitches that could be found.

The closed beta lasted for a month and during that time the audience grew attached to the game. It was already being called the game of the year before its release.

After three years of work and no more announcements, Duelist was finally released to the public. It had the highest amount of players for a game just being launched. Garnishing a total of 1.3 billion players on release.

Three months after the release Bishop got sick. His father hired the best doctors but none could find a cure for him. It was not long before Bishop became bedridden being unable to do the smallest task.

Eight months after the release of Duelist Bishop was found dead in his home.

It was not strange to say that Bishop's life was Duelist. It's been his dream to create a game no other dared to make before. While he did accomplish his dream, it came at a steep price. Day in and day out, his only focus was on creating this game. Meaning no social life, sleep being reduced and sometimes even skipping meals.

Yet, the greatest regret Bishop had was not being able to find a wife. Not spending more time with his family. It was the fact that he created a game he never got the chance to play.
