“It seems you can drive around Bangkok without any problems. You're actually pretty good at it. Are there any particular reasons why you don't want to drive?” he asked as he flashed the light to indicate he was about to pass the car in front.
Tan did not answer. As he leaned back against the seat, he only gave a dry smile. He glanced over at Tan's face and noticed that Tan, sitting next to him, was not looking very good. Seeing that, Blanche spoke up.
“If you don't want to drive, let me know later, I'll bring you a ride if I am available.” Blanche smiled after speaking.
Tan turned to look at his friend. As he spoke, his face had a better expression. “Thanks...” he said. Following Tan's reply, a voice was heard from behind.
“Blanche, pull over at a gas station please!” Edward leaned in between the two front seats.
“We just left one, Edward,” Tan replied.
