The Reason Part I
“Well…It’s not a big deal…You were late because of that. We won’t blame you…”
That was what he would like to hear, but he was living in a harsh world…The reality was unlike what he was thinking at all. Nicki had been chastising for a long while that he could not hear anything.
“How did you make a mistake between the front gate and the back gate?! Even elementary kids can get it right! Are you at a kindergarten level?” Nicki stood with arms akimbo in front of a house that she bought in Calip, frowning at Tan. Frustrated, she did not notice Lin.
“Well…” Tan tried to redeem himself.
“Say no more…! You must have been wandering around town, looking for cards and food so that you were late,” she yelled at him, stopping him from voicing any excuses.
“What?!” He was shocked as Nicki could tell what actually happened as if she was there. “It’s not like that at…” Tan tried to make an excuse.
