"It only took one damage?" said Tan, who also saw the damage value. The walls of fire and magic that Cozy had cast completely vanished, only the wand was left in his hand.
“I’ll try again,” said Cozy, preparing to activate another card; however, he could do it in time. The Life Beat immediately ran away.
"Hey! It’s running away!" Tan yelled.
"I've killed one of these creatures before, but I could do thousands of damage," said Cozy, whose all cards stopped taking effect at the end of the battle.
“Huh…?” Tan sounded confused.
“This one gives a lot of EXP but also flees very quickly,” said the mage in his torn robe.
“You could do thousands of damage to that one, but this one takes only one damage.” Tan frowned.
“They have the highest Defense in the game,” Kelvin snorted. “But I can't tell you guys anything, just so you know,” said the man as he shrugged.
